Rate this book
Chad McFee comes from money but his recent investments haven't gone well and his father is tired of Chad embarrassing the family. When Chad's uncle dies and leaves a winery to Chad with the stipulation that he can't sell it until after the harvest, Chad is unsure what to do. Knowing nothing about wine, he decides to visit and get a crash course in winemaking.

Leila Fairmont has worked hard to prove she can be a successful winemaker, and Honey Ridge Vineyard has been a home to her ever since her parents starting running it. Now Leila is in charge and she worries the past year's setbacks might doom the vineyard. Especially when Chad comes aboard as the new owner.

Both Chad and Lelia know getting involved is a bad idea, after all, Chad still doesn't know what his plans for the vineyard are, but the attraction might be too strong.

I just finished this book and I really enjoyed it! It’s a nice, light read.

First, I love wine. So I enjoyed everything that had to be with wine.

Second, even though the ending was a bit fast paced for my taste, I loved how people can find new meanings and new purposes at any time.

In general, I really liked it and I enjoyed all of the characters, even though Chad’s parents were kind of jerks.

Well... This was a free ebook from joining the mailing list. I read Level up before and I loved that. This one just didn't hold my interest at all. I even considered not finishing it...

I don't know what it was. I just didn't care what happened. The wine business didn't interest me but neither did the main characters. Writing wasn't bad, I just didn't care.
