Rate this book
The advertising industry has reached a critical, even dangerous point in its development. Agencies are destroying themselves with growing workloads and declining fees, a "recipe for disaster." So what are the logical consequences of the failure to act? For the first time, Michael Farmer offers a solution to avoid this seemingly inevitable disaster. This book offers the world's first effective definition of "the real agency problem." Once the problem is understood, then the author offers corrective solutions.

An eye-opener, if only for the historic chapters. Description of the well-known endemic causes to long-discussed but poorly-addressed industry problems. No revelations in this approach. A must read, if only to inform yourself why the industry is where it is. Hard-sell on Farmers & Co. SMU proprietary methodology. Uncertain about it, financial discussion ahead to make sense about SMUs and SOWs. Dreamy strategic consultant solutions that require a stone-faced courageous CEO and committed C-level. #ChallengeAccepted.
