So this is the third book in the Twisted Hearts series and despite never having read the previous two before this I still found this an enjoyable read.
Bonded can definitely be read as a stand-alone and is also very easy to follow.
So Bonded tells the story of Brenda whose secret past has finally caught up with her and Magnum a heavily tattoed and pierced hottie with a penchant for BDSM and rough sex and a really tragic childhood, he's all sorts of messed up from this.
After an awkward re-connection (Magnum had stopped returning Brenda's calls previously) Magnum takes it upon himself to protect Brenda getting hot, heavy and possessive very quickly indeed.
Now, just have to say that this was a great read.
Magnum and Brenda were such strong capable individuals, both survivors in different ways.
Magnum's childhood so broke my heart into pieces and I thought it showed a true strength of character to open up and lower his defences around Brenda, so brave.
Some of the flashbacks that were shown were ever so upsetting, I could actually picture a tiny Magnum cowering from Sir, heart-breaking.
Bonded was such an easy story to get lost in and I read this in one single sitting.
Oh and I just have to say well its fresh in my mind how much I loved Magnum's nickname for Brenda "Mooi" too cute.
I actually thought when he first said it that he was mooing at her to like MOVE!!! like a cow.
Then I find out it is Dutch for beautiful, how unique is that.
So as I was saying, an enjoyable read, my only gripe was that this was slightly predictable in places, hence a slightly lower star score, that being said it still was a super hot and positive experience
and I would definitely recommend this and wouldn't hesitate to read this author again.

Bonded by Autumn Sands a sublime five-star read. This is a standalone book, but does come as the third book in the Twisted hearts series, I have loved the series and read it in order, but you don’t have to. I didn’t think this series could get better, but wow this series just goes from strength to strength. Autumn Sands writes baddies that you want to choke the life out of with your bare hands, I honestly thought that she wrote the best baddie in Iggy (From Bedlam book 1) but this one oohhh he’s an even bigger douche.
Nurse Brenda Johnson is a dedicated nurse she works with children on a cancer ward and she works lots of hours, mainly because she doesn’t want to be alone home, she has been alone for many years. But she chose to be alone, she could have had many a man in the past few years but she has decided not to bother, although she has come close and there is a Doctor at the hospital and a neighbour that would both love to be the one, neither of them set her spark alight. That reward went to Magnum but he didn’t return her call, so that’s his loss.
Magnum was born Carl CJ Miller but he refuses to be known by that name, as it has to many bad memories associated with it. Memories that are fighting to take over if he lets them. The memories are why he never returned Brenda’s call, he didn’t think he was the man for her. When Brenda is in danger, he is the man to step in, this is his wheel house and he won’t allow anyone to hurt her.
Magnum and Brenda both have stories in their past they wish they could forget, but sometime you need to bond with another broken soul to make yours whole again.

What a book! I am in a spin over Bonded. This book is number three in the The Twisted Hearts Love story series by Autumn Sand. I did not read the first two books in the series before I experienced Bonded, but trust me, I will be rectifying that mishap immediately.
Brenda and Magnum both have demons chasing them, so neither were looking for anything but a few hours of pleasure. Stuck in the past, Magnum needs to find a way to break free of those binds or he will literally break. He knows Brenda is keeping something from him, but really needs to handle her with gentle hands and hope she eventually trusts him enough to share her nightmare. Autumn Sand was extremely crafty and clever with how this story was written. While Magnum’s story was unveiled steadily and honestly, brenda’s was shrouded in mystery, making my experience as a reader of Bonded that much edgier and exciting.
I connected with the characters straight away, not having to warm up to them at all. It was heat from the first chapter and I fell in love with the story in its entirety. The bond that Brenda and Magnum shared would either strengthen or shatter under the strain. Let me say what a provocative pleasure it was to read Bonded. It was exciting and thrilling, dangerous and arousing, passionate and endearing, raw and electrifying. The author held nothing back in the delivery of Bonded.
If you are after a super sweet story that requires a trip to the dentist, then this book is not for you. If you love heart stopping, adrenalin fueled paragraphs that contain explicit, down and dirty loving, then this is a must read for you.
I shower endless praise for a brilliantly written, edgy love story about a hot bad boy and his sassy but sweet woman. Autumn Sand and Bonded are worthy of 5 stars and more. What an incredible author.

Bonded is Book 3 of The Twisted Hearts series. It is a contemporary romance. Autumn Sand warns her readers in a disclaimer at the beginning that there is child abuse in the subject matter. However, the abuse is not detailed as such it is told in flashbacks /recounts by the main character. Another letter at the end of the book explains how the book came to be written. Autumn Sand’s purpose is to shed more light on a vicious and heinous act and show that there can be a way to heal. There is a number and a website at the end of the book dedicated to offering help to victims of child abuse.
Bonded is the story of Magnum (who we first met in Bedlam and then again in Mayhem) and Brenda who we first met in Mayhem.
Brenda is a paediatric cancer nurse who is hiding a secret that may threaten her life. She is a deeply caring person who is struggling to put events from her past behind her. She has committed herself to a lifetime of loneliness rather than subject herself to another abusive relationship. Therefore she doesn’t trust people easily and it takes years of knowing someone before she will let them in and allow them to be a friend. When she first meets Magnum she has to fight the attraction she feels for him at first sight; is it love or is it lust? Whilst he appears menacing, intimidating and domineering (all the things she should rebel against) she also feels intuitively that he would never hurt her but instead would protect her. Even so when events escalate and her life is threatened she finds it hard to accept the fact that he can or could help her. How far will she allow things to run before she backs down and forgets her pride to allow him to take control?
Magnum: (real name Carl Miller) has spent his whole life harbouring devastating secrets and running from relationships before they can become serious. A large man with body tattoos, head tattoos, and numerous piercings that make him look menacing and intimidating is anything but: inside him there is a gentle giant waiting, hoping and needing the love of someone who can love him unconditionally to help him put his past firmly behind him and stop it hurting his present and future life. When he meets Brenda he is confused initially by his feelings, then frightened that he will scare her away. Will she be the one to love him as he needs? Will she let him in? Can they both bare their secrets and begin to trust one another before it’s too late? What is their ‘happily ever after’?
The story moves along steadily in some parts and quite fast in others. The characters are believable and multi-dimensional. It is good too to catch ‘updates’ about the main characters from Bedlam and Mayhem. Their story is told from both their points of view which gives you an insight into their deepest (and at times darkest) thoughts and experiences. Although it isn’t a happy thing when told that child abuse is part of the story it was dealt with so sensitively and empathetically. Amber Sand thoroughly understands her subject matter and the letter to readers at the end explains where and how she developed her understanding. It was the recall of the abuse and the details of how it impacted on the victim that told you what happened rather than a graphic description as it were happening. Very skilful writing from Autumn Sand means I was not disappointed in this third book of the series. Indeed I found I couldn’t put this one down either.

He's happy working for Tony Delaney and although he enjoys the company of women, he doesn't allow any of them to get too close to him. He also tries to avoid sleeping because sleep allows the memories from his past to reappear. Then he receives a telephone call from his mother, which takes him back home to face his demons and the person who caused them all. He also bumps into Brenda again and despite his previous determination to keep his distance from her, he's unable to say no when she needs protecting from her own demons.
“Too many memories I don’t want to remember always seem to find their way into my dreams. The perfect remedy for that is not to sleep, so I don’t. I catch naps mostly, and on the rare occasion my body gives in to my nemesis, I fall into a sleeplike coma for a day or two.” - Magnum
Brenda has spent the past 10 years trying to forget about what happened with her ex. She loves her job as a nurse and working helps keep her mind focused on other things. She isn't interested in ever falling in love again, so keeps men at arms length. She has good friends in her life and it was due to one of them that she first met Magnum who then suddenly disappeared from her life. Just as the 10 year anniversary linked to her past is approaching, she unexpectedly meets Magnum again. She's not sure what to think but then it looks like her past is about to become the present and Magnum is determined to protect her.
“I look up to see the serious expression on his face. He has made a declaration for all to hear that he would give his life to protect me. For once, with his words, I don’t feel alone in this world. But I’m still afraid to give him my trust; I need to be strong for myself. God knows I’ve learned that the hard way.” - Brenda
This is the story I was waiting for! I absolutely loved Bedlam and Mayhem but there was something about Magnum that made me want to know more about him. He has to be my favourite character so far and Brenda is just the woman he needed. Bonded had me hooked from the start and I couldn't wait to see what journey Autumn Sand had planned for this couple. I wasn't disappointed and I didn't want Bonded to end. I was also happy to learn more about the previous couples in the series and it ties all the books together nicely even though each can be read as a standalone. However, I know you'll want to read them all once you've read one.
As always with this series, Autumn Sand deals with sensitive subjects in such a way that they add to the story rather than take away from it and had me wanting to jump in and fight for the characters. Autumn Sand never fails to deliver and this series has become one of my favourites. I'd be happy to read her books without checking the description because I know it'll be a book I'll enjoy and won't be able to put down. I will definitely be reading this book again!
As with Bedlam and Mayhem, I fully recommend that you get Bonded and fall in love with an amazing series that has you believing in love and finding your soulmate when the time is right. You'll also want to read her standalone, Joe Football, which I awarded 5 stars to.

The new and amazing book from Autumn Sand that takes us on a fantastic journey through the rough seas of life with Magnum the strong and loyal man that has been mentally and physical abused by his father for years. He keeps himself shut off from relationships he can't let close. When magnum first met Brenda he knew she was the perfect type of woman for him but he couldn't give in that would drag her down he was no good for her, he wasn't good enough for anyone and never had been since the day he was born.
Brenda's life has not been the easiest but she battles through. She lives her job at the hospital and meets some amazing kids that show her she should be thankful for her health and the little life she does allow herself to live outside of work. She's fiercely independent and doesn't need a man to come mess all that up. When she sees magnum again in her work she can't help be surprised but she knows something's not right and hope the little comfort she offered helped, the man has baggage but for once she doesn't want to run away but when her past comes back to haunt her present she worries that her baggage may just be what come between them in the end. Magnum can't see Brenda in danger so knows he will have to step out of the bonds from his past that are forever holding him back in order to keep her safe but he doesn't realise us right now he needs her as much as she needs him.
A fabulous 5 star read from a new favourite author of mine this book covers so many emotional issues that it consumes your mind at all times but I couldn't put it down this is a fantastic series and I can't wait to get started on the next book the friendships with the other characters from previous books form such an addictive and captivating storyline your always left waiting for more.

This story will show you that letting go of your demons will lead you to real happiness you never thought possible.

Bonded is the third book in the Twisted Hearts Love Story series by Autumn Sand and can be read as a standalone but personally having read the first two books in this series and knowing how brilliant they are I would definitely recommend that you read them all!!
I remember reading the first book in this series which was the author’s debut novel and thinking wow – where has this author been hiding – it was just fantastic and I couldn’t wait to read more. Each book has just got better and better and this one is no exception. I absolutely LOVED it! I loved every single word that I read. The author has this incredible talent for dragging you into the story within the first few chapters and the twist in this one was brilliant – my mind was constantly changing about what was going to happen and I still actually didn’t predict it! I loved that the characters from the previous story were still included in this one, albeit mainly the girls Anaya and Cyma. I have loved all of the characters in the previous books but Magnum and Brenda were just something else entirely. They were just both so well suited and I think my favourite couple. Brenda is such a nice and caring person, she just doesn’t want to see that bad in anybody and Magnum he really wasn’t what I was expecting! He’s featured in the other books in the background but there’s no way I would have predicted his story – it was so raw and emotional. I loved how he was with Brenda, he had this need to protect her (I wouldn’t mind being protected by him either!) even if she tried not to give into him! The chemistry between the two was great and I was really rooting for them as a couple! They both had pasts they were hiding from and they both wanted to help rescue each other.
I think it’s fair to say that this author has written another fantastic book in this series. They are characters that you will instantly fall in love with and situations that will leave you on the edge of your seat and along with some very raw and emotional times. I cannot wait to read more from this author in the future – I’m not sure how but I can only imagine her work will get better and better!

Again, how does Autumn make me love one of her books more than the others??

In this story, we follow Magnum and Brenda, who have both had traumatic pasts. But ultimately, they manage to overcome their pasts and fall in love. Will there be peril along the way? Sure! No good Autumn Sand books is without it's peril and heartbreak ;)
In the previous books, Magnum was a character I liked, but was not overly invested in. After this novel, I am so happy that he got his happy ending (in more than one way!). But seriously, I was not expecting to love and want to protect his character so much. And Brenda! Oh my poor baby. I can't even begin to go on about her without potentially spoiling the book. And since y'all should read it, I don't want to give spoilers!
Just know that Autumn has a way of creating amazing characters, dark stories with happy endings, and so much more to pull her readers into this chaotic but real world.

Brenda Johnson is a nurse working on a children's ward, she has a past she keeps closely hidden from the friends and co-workers she has made. A year ago she met Magnum, they had a connection and went out a couple of times before her calls went unanswered. Now Magnum is back and quickly realizes Brenda is in need of protection. Magnum knows once he has Brenda he wont be able to let her go but can she accept the man he is, hidden scars and all?
This was fascinating. I had not read the other two books so had no base for the characters but was immediately pulled in. Magnum has walls but so does Brenda, he never got to know the sassy side of her and she is not budging about letting him in now. Once I picked this book up I was not able to put it down. Going back and checking out the other books for sure.

Autumn has done it again, another amazing read. I spent half the night with my Kindle glued to my hand after I told myself "I'll only read a few chapters" Well. I didn't I read it all. GAH. Autumn Sand is one of those Authors who's book just are always getting better.
The Characters always have spunk, and they are just so darn lovable. I can never decided a favorite.

All I got to say is yes, yes, and a million more yesses! Broke my heart and it was rough reading child abuse and everything he endured growing up. Yes, I am glad I guessed right but though you made it where I was guessing "Who is it?" I loved the ending. The symbolic way of giving both power of control to each other with collars. I can't wait for book 4 to be ready so I can read that.

Bonded: A Twisted Hearts Love Story by Autumn Sand is the third book in her A Twisted Hearts Love Story series. I highly recommend you read the two previous books before this one as you will get a better knowledge of the characters but it can be read as a standalone. This story has a little bit of everything in it, suspense, action and even the hot romance. One of the things I enjoy about this author is her creativity she has with her characters and the situations she puts them in. These characters will take you on a roller coaster ride that you will not want to get off. There are twists and turns in this story that will keep you sitting on the edge of your seat and other times saying, really? Find out what happens with these characters are faced with their haunted pasts.
Magnum set eyes on her over a year ago. She is everything that he wants and needs. This need goes so deep that all he can think of doing is pushing her away. But this is who he is and what he does. Anyone who gets to close, he shoves away and out of his reach. His past is to damaged, it just won't let him love her. Now she is in danger and he can't let anything happen to her. There is nothing that will stop him from protecting her even if it means he dies trying.
Brenda also has a past that is really damaged and hasn't allowed herself to heal. She kept telling herself it was just sex. She just refuses to let him have her heart. What will happen when the anniversary of the tragic event comes back to haunt her? Will it be him who is there to save her from her demons and past that torment her? Time heals all things but will the pain be to much for her? Can he fix what has haunt her, hurt her all these years?
Magnum and Brenda's relationship is one that has been troubled by both of their pasts. Will they both be strong enough to heal and survive the pain? Will they be able to get past the life struggles in order to be together? Is it possible to break the bonds that how these characters to their pasts? These are two strong characters that you will have compassion for and what they have gone through. You will enjoy to see how they grow throughout the story. They need to create new bonds to hold them together but will they be able to? In my opinion Brenda is broken inside and just needs to learn to heal and let go. She needs to learn to trust that he won't hurt her, he only wants to protect her and love her. Magnum is so compassionate for her that he just wants to keep her safe no matter what happens to him. They are really great and hot together, they keep you engaged throughout the story. We can't forget the secondary characters as well. They are strong and complement the two main characters. These characters will leave you wanting more. Find out if the bonds of their past are to strong to break or if they will create their own bonds that can't break.

You will need to see what is behind every page. I had a hard time putting this book down in parts and I know you will too. I highly recommend this book as I know you will want to see what happens to these characters and if you haven't started this series, you will want to now!

Bonded is the third book in the Twisted Hearts Series by Autumn Sand. Wow…. After reading (and loving) the previous instalments, I thought Ms. Sand would really be hard pressed to achieve the same brilliance, or match the effect that they had on me. But I should never have doubted her, as this book is truly outstanding and a true testimony to the superb writing skills of Ms. Sand.
The story is thrilling, suspenseful, edgy, a little raw, has danger and action, is very erotic and sexy, with some creepy and nightmarish situations that the characters have/had to contend with- but over-all it is a wonderful contemporary romance.
This story can be read as a standalone, but as I have previously mentioned, Bedlam (Book One) and Mayhem (Book Two) are extremely good and well worth your time and money to get them to read, along with this book. The series really is a ‘must read’.
Magnum is a dark and mysterious hunk, with a shaved head, tattoos and piercings- who not only carries a gun but also carries painful memories from his childhood that still manage to torment him, especially at night. He prefers not to sleep, so the distressing memories can’t invade his dreams. He doesn’t really date- he’s more of a love ‘em and leave ‘em kinda guy. When he meets Brenda, there is definitely a spark- but he doesn’t think he’s good enough for her, he doesn’t want to subject her to all his ‘baggage’.
Brenda is a nurse who has spent the past ten years looking over her shoulder. She has secrets that she prefers remain in the past. She works as many shifts as she can because she doesn’t want to be at home, alone with her thoughts. Brenda doesn’t do relationships- in fact, if a guy gets too close, she usually cuts them out of her life, as she doesn’t want them discovering her secret. When she met Magnum, they definitely were attracted to one another- they even went on a few dates and kissed, but just when she thought it may lead to more, he stopped contacting her or returning her calls.
So when they meet again by chance some time later, there is definitely still a spark there- but the issues they had that kept them apart in the first place still remain. But when some disturbing incidences occur and Brenda is put in danger, Magnum is determined to do whatever it takes to keep her safe. Can Brenda learn to trust Magnum enough for him to truly help? Will the situation draw them closer together? Or will the dangerous situation only put more pressure on them and end up driving them apart? Can these two damaged souls end up being the antidote to each other’s suffering?
This is such a thrilling story! Ms. Sand has such a dynamic, sexy and descriptive writing style, which kept me riveted right from the beginning of the story, through to the end.
The characters are fantastic- they were so complex and yet still remained believable and endearing. I really felt for them both- my heart ached for what they had been through and endured. They were so strong to have come through it all and been such good-hearted people. They really are wonderful, and I couldn’t help connecting to them and their story.
I am really excited to see what Ms. Sand does next!

This is the story of two people who have because of their past, shut themselves off from others and from love. The pain that they feel colors the way that they see themselves and their future. Can these two souls find the love they have always wanted in each other’s arms or will the past be too hard to overcome? This is the story of Magnum and Brenda.
I have read four books by this author and I can’t say enough about her writing. She weaves a story that has you mesmerized from the very beginning to the very end. Once I start one of her books I know that I will not put it down until the last page has been read. She creates characters that are amazing and that you always root for to find their happy ending. This story is the third book in the Twisted Hearts Love Story series and while you can read each of them as a standalone, the characters overlap in each book and I love finding out what is going on in their lives as well. Kind of like dropping in on friends. So I would suggest reading all three. Reading the story of the main character of Magnum in this book was heartbreaking. He has endured so much in his life and keeps his feelings locked up. Don’t get close to anyone. This how he copes and when he first found himself falling for Brenda that is how he reacted. Now situations have changed and Brenda is in danger. His need to protect her is overwhelming and he would do anything, even die for her. He wouldn’t allow himself to love her once, will he open up to her now? Will Magnum trust Brenda enough to reveal his past to her?
Brenda is a woman that has also had a tragic past and that past has now resurfaced. Things begin to happen in her life that have her fearful. Then Magnum comes and takes control, he makes it his mission to keep her safe. Brenda doesn’t know if she can trust Magnum with her heart. Bonded is the third book in the Twisted Hearts series by Autumn Sand. While this can be read as a stand-alone it is much better to read the books in order since the characters from the first two books make appearances in this one plus it takes the reading experience to another level. We initially meet Brenda in Mayhem (Book 2) and Magnum in Bedlam (Book 1).
Brenda is a nurse on the pediatric oncology floor, she has dedicated her life to helping the youngsters with this terrible disease. Her life consists of a few good friendships and her work. She is lonely and just wants to be held for a night or two. After escaping and abusive relationship ten years in the past she is now ready for a little intimacy, the person she originally wanted that intimacy with has ignored her attempts to reach out and connect. She doesn’t understand why Magnum seemed to be so into her then just disappeared.
Magnum was so much deeper than I thought he would be going into this story. After a tough childhood with an abusive father and a mother who didn’t stand up for him Magnum turned into the man he is today, a typical loner who doesn’t believe he is worth anything. While he liked Brenda from the moment he met her he figured he was not good enough for someone like her so he chose to walk away.
After a phone call from his mother he learns that his father is dying and rushes to the hospital to see “Sir” one last time. While at the hospital Magnum runs into Brenda, a year after leaving her high and dry. Brenda is not impressed and pretty much tries to ignore Magnum and his attempts at conversation. Fate steps in and after a threat is made against Brenda Magnum steps in and forces her to accept his protection until the threat is neutralized. Will the two be able to overcome their pasts in order to have the future they were meant to always have?
I can’t say enough about this series, each and every one of these books just suck you in and don’t let go until the very last word on the very last page. This is the third book in the Twisted Hearts Love series and I simply love it. Ms. Sands is amazing writer and she defiantly has me as a loyal read….I read this book in one sitting I just couldn’t put it down I was so intrigued by the first page to the last. The characters are well developed and the story line is a dark romance read. We also get to see some of our favorite characters and what they are up too.
We met Brenda and Magnum in Mayhem book two of this series. These two pulled at my strings but I really wanted to jump Magnum and make him mine….LOL
From the time he laid eyes on Brenda, over a year ago, he wanted to taste every inch of her. The need ran so deep, he pushed her away. That’s his problem. He pushes everyone away; anyone who dares to get too close. The bonds of his past prevent him from moving forward, but his need for her compels him to break them. Now she’s in danger, and he’ll die before he lets anything happen to her. It’s a race against time, between his past and saving her. Will time run out on both of them, or will they forever be bonded?
When she first met Magnum, she thought sex was all she wanted. Or at least that’s what she told herself. She hasn’t allowed a man into her heart in over ten years, but one moment with him tore down walls that she meticulously built. She’s still forever bonded to a moment in that time, ten years ago; a moment that threatens to come back on the ten-year anniversary of that fateful day. Ms. Sands is amazing writer and she defiantly has me as a loyal read….I read this book in one sitting I just couldn’t put it down I was so intrigued by the first page to the last. The characters are well developed and the story line is a dark romance read. We also get to see some of our favorite characters and what they are up too.
We met Brenda and Magnum in Mayhem book two of this series. These two pulled at my strings but I really wanted to jump Magnum and make him mine….LOL
From the time he laid eyes on Brenda, over a year ago, he wanted to taste every inch of her. The need ran so deep, he pushed her away. That’s his problem. He pushes everyone away; anyone who dares to get too close. The bonds of his past prevent him from moving forward, but his need for her compels him to break them. Now she’s in danger, and he’ll die before he lets anything happen to her. It’s a race against time, between his past and saving her. Will time run out on both of them, or will they forever be bonded?

Bonded follows the story of Magnum and Brenda and is the third book in the Twisted Hearts series by Autumn Sand.
The story starts off as you discover that these two characters have a past and that although that is just it is in the past, sometimes you can never escape your past. The second book touched on this strong woman as she looked after Cyma’s daughter in the hospital I loved that this woman got her own book.
Magnum is a bad boy, with tattoo’s and piercings covering his body and a look which would scare most people. So when his mutual friends introduced Brenda to Magnum he could not deny the chemistry between the two of them. Although they get to test the chemistry after a few dates he ignores her calls and does not see her again, until a tragedy happens and he is forced back into the past he has tried so hard to bury for all these years.
Brenda is going about her job when he walks in to the hospital and the spark instantly returns bit she is mad as he has not contacted her since there interaction but when she realises he is there for a patient she then goes into nurse mode. Magnum then invites her for a coffee in the café and he then just pours out his history of his life with his family. Brenda is devastated and tries to help this broken man but she is also trying to overcome her tragic past also, but Magnum knows something is wrong and tries to help her although she is reluctant to let him in. Can these two overcome their pasts to live together in the future you will have to read to find out?
I love Autumn Sand writing and the way she writes her characters to be so flawed but still deserve a HEA. You could read this book as a stand-alone but in all honesty who would, once you have read this book you will be downloading the first two books instantly. Bonded by Autumn Sand is simply incredible. I’ve read her work in the past and I absolutely loved it so I had high hopes for this one and I definitely was not disappointed. This is another 5 star book from Autumn. Bonded is twisted, dark, and haunting and it also touches on sensitive subject matter. It will have you on your toes from start to finish, questioning everything and everyone. I loved that Autumn provided us with a playlist, the songs are perfectly chosen and they really add to each chapter.

This book follows Brenda and Magnum; Brenda is an incredible woman with a dark past. She’s a nurse and an extreme busy body who’s trying to forget about her past. Magnum is a man who is quite similar to her, he was seriously abused as a child and as a result he tries to run from his past and doesn’t commit to relationship. Normally opposites attract but in this case their similarities really pull them closer together. After being free for many years Brenda finds herself scared as her past is slowly coming back to life. She feels threatened but with the help of Magnum her fears lessen. Will Magnum be able to solve the investigation before it’s too late or will Brenda’s past take her for good?
There were many times while reading this book where I thought I had it all figured out and I was always wrong. The storyline is intense and it completely captivated me, I had to get answers to my questions ASAP, I just couldn’t stop reading it. I absolutely loved Magnum; he was so broken but yet remained so strong. Plus he had nice tattoos and piercings, which is definitely a plus for me. Brenda and Magnum were a perfect match and I would love to read more of them. This is absolutely a book worth reading!

I just love this series, I love the characters so much and love that they are all in each book. This is the story of Brenda and Magnum and I couldn't wait to read it after falling in love with Brenda in the previous book. These can be read as standalones, but you would be missing out on some great history if you don't read them all in order.
Magnum and Brenda both have pasts that haunt them. They each have their own reasons for not getting involved with any kind of serious relationships. They have a connection through mutual friends and even went out a couple times which resulted in him not returning any calls and then nothing. They were each attracted to each other and if it hadn't been for their pasts they probably would have pursued it further. When a family emergency brings Magnum to town and he runs into Brenda, his want for her returns but all he does is push it away. But when she receives a message from her tragic past he can't help himself, he will protect her or die trying. Now if he could just get her to open up and let him in, but can he do the same? She knows he has serious demons and wants desperately to help him, but how can she when she's battling her own? As the anniversary of her tragic past approaches, can Magnum get to the truth and save her in time? Can these two broken people get past their fears and tragic pasts and find their HEA?
This author has a way with molding her words around the best stories. She knows how to manipulate you into thinking you know what's coming and I can just imagine her sitting there at her computer with an evil laugh as she knows she's messing with your mind, and then there you are begging for more LOL She is a favorite of mine now and I will be stalking her waiting for word on what she has in store for me next.

Bonded is the third book in this series by Autumn Sand but can be read as a standalone. The previous characters do make appearances but this story is all about Magnum and Brenda. Told in dual POV, except the prologue, this was a great story. Definitely pulled at the heart strings, made me laugh, and cry and also some mystery all wrapped into this wonderful book.
Brenda works on the pediatric cancer floor at the hospital. She's tough but has a heart of gold. Living alone and having a difficult past relationship, she just wants a night of rough and hot with a man, but no one catches her eye. When she starts to get threats of her past, she gains an unwanted bodyguard, Magnum. The Magnum who never called her back to take things to the bedroom level. To say she is less than thrilled is an understatement, but he'll do anything he can to keep her safe. Why is the past coming back to haunt her when it should be impossible?
Magnum is closed off and doesn't divulge any information about his past, and for good reason. When he gets news of his father, or Sir, as he's to be addressed, has had a heart attack, he runs to be with his mother. When he runs into Brenda in the hospital, he is finding himself trying more to help her. As they learn more about each other, Brenda becomes his confidant and he's told her more than anyone has ever learned of his horrible past. When they both need each other so Much can they be each others voice and rock? Or will things move on like they always do?
I was so surprised when I read the past of Magnum. My heart broke for him. And Brenda, well let's say its always the one you don't expect when it comes to her side of the story! Loved all these characters and hope to read more of them all!

Bonded was a great 5 star read.
Right from the start you are pulled in, the prologue is from 10 years ago and it has your heart pounding and on the edge of your seat.
We jump ahead to present day.
Magnum is the ultimate badboy with the tattoos, piercings and looks scary as heck. He also likes certain things in the bedroom that are hot and panty melting. We also see into his past and it is completely heartbreaking. When a family emergency brings Magnum to the hospital he comes face-to-face with his childhood nightmare, his memories start to come back tenfold.
Brenda is a nurse and Cyma’s best friend. When Magnum see’s her at the hospital Not wanting to be alone Magnum asks Brenda for a quick coffee. I have to say Brenda is also a little spitfire when she want’s to be and she puts him in his place.
When our eyes locked, I felt that she saw me, the real me. My past, my present, and my future shown in her eyes.
Mysterious things start to happen to Bren and when it goes too far at work, Magnum turns into her protector. All I can say is that things get even more intense not only between these two but with the past as well. You will continue to be on the edge of your seat until you get to the end. As your reading you will keep thinking who is it?, and the ending was great. This series has pulled me in right from the beginning and it keeps getting better and better, Autumn pulls you right in and refuses to let you go until the end. This is an author that I will definitely keep tabs on, I can’t wait to read the next book in the series. Warning: there is some abuse that may be triggers for some.

There are several different names that each character goes by but eventually it is explained.
Magnum Miller has tattoos and piercings seemingly making him dark and mysterious. Though for being like that he sure is an open book with Brenda. And the fact that he talks about getting it on like it's art and a masterpiece, who is this guy?
I'm not really sure how I've pictured him in my head but his pretty darn hot! His problem is that he never lets anyone get too close. After the past he's had, he can't subject anyone else to know that pain or pity him. Magnum and Brenda have previously met and have mutual friends.

However, it doesn’t hinder the telling of this story in any way. This book follows the amazing story of Magnum and Brenda while the learn to trust each other with much more than just their secrets. Magnum had a hard childhood growing up in fear and the idea that he was never enough. Now as an adult he lives by his own rules, never with any woman for a long period of time. That changes when he meets Brenda but he gets spooked and stops calling her. Will he be able to her him to give him another chance?
Brenda doesn’t have good luck with men, she’s spent a lot of time being afraid of her ex-boyfriend but things are quite so she thinks she’s safe. She’s not looking for forever with a man, just some fun and she thinks she’s found that with Magnum but then he stops calling. This wonderful story is book three of the Twisted Hearts Love Story series. It can be read as a standalone and I don’t think there are any crucial plot points I missed out on having not read the first two books.
Magnum and Brenda are both running from pasts they would rather never think of again. Especially their disastrous attempt at a couple dates years ago. But fate has something else in store when Magnum’s estranged father is brought to the very hospital where Brenda is a nurse. The mutual attraction is still there but Brenda has moved on from the man who never called her back. When Brenda receives a gift delivered to the hospital in front of Magnum that brings back her horrid past, he makes it his mission to protect her no matter what. At first it’s just because she’s the beautiful best friend of his boss’s wife, but neither Brenda nor Magnum can seem to keep their hands off each other. Things only seem to go from bad to worse and from hot to steamy as the pair confront their demons and their libidos.
The brilliant characters from this book make me want to read the first two books in this series and catch up on the history of this group of people who are more like family than friends. The dynamic between each of the ladies their gentlemen is deep and complex even though this story revolves around Brenda and Magnum. There was no point in this book where I felt I wasn’t getting enough detail or backstory except for where it was necessary for plot. I never saw the ending coming and that is one thing I need more than anything else in a book to keep me hooked on a specific writer.

This was a great book about overcoming your past and having someone support you. This book had hotness, alpha male, and some mystery that kept you guessing.
Brenda had met Magnum previously and it ended up not working out. Until he’s back in town because of Sir. The attraction between them is instant and it’s like time stopped. They just sort of picked up from before. Let me tell you, the protective streak Magnam had was hot and sweet.
After Brenda receives dead flowers at the hospital, Magnum sorts of takes Brenda under his wing and offers her protection. They bond over this and Magnum is able to reveal more about his past. Poor Magnum and his abuse from Sir. You really get to know more about his past from the memories Magnum relives throughout the story. Magnum also learns about Brenda’s ex and his abuse towards her.
The mystery around who was after Brenda was interesting. I was totally like “who did it?” I sort of guessed about half way between all the people it could have been and I was right! I loved this mysteriousness about this and made the story more intriguing.
There was a little backstory to Magnum and Brenda and while it was hot when they first kissed again. I just felt like it went from kissing to love very fast. I’m sure they went through a lot together which heighten and strengthen their feelings.

Autumn definitely knows how to write a thrilling, edgy, very erotic and sexy book. I'm usually don't like books with child abuse in them but with her writing, I overlooked that because Magnum and Brenda's love story was so amazing.

Autumn Sand has again touch me with her writing. I have enjoyed reading Bonded,book #3 in the Twisted Hearts Love Story. Bonded is a standalone novel but I recommend that you read the other two books in this series. The characters overlap and the experience of reading this series is priceless and heartfelt.
Bonded tells the story of Brenda and Magnum. Both have demons in their lives that keep them bonded to hurt and pain. Brenda is nurse dedicated to her job, working at the hospital with children who are cancer patients. She works long and hard hours at the hospital to avoid being alone. Brenda has had a tragic past that's has left hurt that has not healed. That past is coming back to harm Brenda. Will she be able to trust Magnum with her heart and to keep her safe?
Magnum is the name Carl Miller is calling himself. Carl died in the past along with all the bad memories Magnum is trying to get free from. Magnum has learned that some things attach to our life and bond us to hurt. He has had to deal with so much pain in his life. He closes his heart and does not respond to the attraction that he has for Brenda . A pull that he hasn't felt before. But can a Twisted heart love?
Magnum and Brenda are both bonded to a past they want to be free from. Danger brings Brenda back into Magnum life. Magnum feels a deep need to protect and keep Brenda safe. Ms Sand has written an incredible novel full of suspense, sorrow and love. She has the skill to develop amazing characters that you feel a connection do. Bonded is engaging from the beginning pages to the end of the book. Will Magnum allow the love he has for Brenda to manifest? Will Brenda trust Magnum with her life and her secrets? Will two two Twisted Hearts bond together in love? I highly recommend you read Bonded by Autumn Sand to find out what happens. Will two lost souls be bonded together?

Bonded Autumn Sand is the third book in her A Twisted Hearts Love Story series. I recommend you read the other two books in the series before this one so you get the back stories of the other characters even though it is a standalone. This story is one hot romance book with lots of suspense, action and drama. Autumn’s characters and the world she writes definitely take you on a ride that leaves you wanting more. There are twists and turns in this book that keeps you sitting on the edge of your seat. The main characters in this book of the series is Brenda and Magnum, who have both known horrors in the past and it is their pasts that they must break free of to look forward to the future.
Brenda is everything that Magnum needs and wants but his past is holding hi back, he doesn’t want her tainted with it. He doesn’t do relationships because he can’t let anyone close enough to see his secrets, see just how damaged he is. But what happens when they meet up again and her past is now closing in on her? Now that she is in danger he vows to protect her. She is his and he will let nothing come between him and his woman. Can he be the one to save her from her demons?
Brenda thought that she and Magnum had something but he pulled away. Now he is back and he won’t leave her alone but does she want him to leave her alone? Magnum:
Would any male have a problem with working in the red-light district of Amsterdam? Magnum sure hasn’t, in fact he is enjoying it maybe more than he should.
Magnum and Manny are in Amsterdam interviewing staff for Tony’s new club Pulse X. Tick would normally be there but his baby is due any time now so he is at home with Cyma waiting for the baby to arrive. Magnum and Manny both agree that Pulse X is going to be the best thing that has hit Europe in a very long time.
Brenda:
Brenda is working as a nurse on a children’s ward. Today was a distressing day as Mr and Mrs Wilson were informed by the Dr that their daughter Bella couldn’t be saved. Bella’s parent was told Bella was worked on for forty minutes but her body had had enough and she passed away. Brenda not being able to cope left the room, yes, she should have stayed with the parents until the grief counsellor could get there but she just couldn’t do it. Losing an adult patient was hard on nursing staff but to lose a child was even harder. Brenda felt she had to apologise for leaving the room as quick as she did but Dr Ray told her she didn’t need to and that he knew she was there for the love of the job. Another nurse Kim told her once her work stops affecting her it’s time for her to get a new job.
Cyma:
Brenda met Cyma when Cyma’s daughter Lelia had been diagnosed with Leukemia when she was two years old and Brenda would often nurse her. Brenda and Cyma have been friends ever since. Cyma suggests to Brenda that she needs to meet someone, Brenda tells her she hasn’t the time. Cyma suggests meeting up with Magnum again but Brenda reminds her that’s already been tried and is now water under the bridge. Cyma is somewhat determined that they try again but Brenda is equally determined not to go there.
Magnum and Brenda are from two different worlds, how does a nurse and someone who runs or works at a sex based club join the two worlds?
I am glad I read this book and do encourage others to have a read if of it, you won’t be disappointed.
