Greg Rucka, is an American comic book writer and novelist, known for his work on such comics as Action Comics, Batwoman: Detective Comics, and the miniseries Superman: World of New Krypton for DC Comics, and for novels such as his Queen & Country series.
Another nice entry and this would always be the case when you have watched the adaptation. And you would know the scenes as you already know the story but now the scenes happen a little differently. Little less confrontation as movies obviously needed some more action.
I have always loved comics, and I hope that I will always love them. Even though I grew up reading local Indian comics like Raj Comics or Diamond Comics or even Manoj Comics, now's the time to catch up on the international and classic comics and Graphic novels. I am on my quest to read as many comics as I can. I Love comics to bit, may comics never leave my side. I loved reading this and love reading more, you should also read what you love and then just Keep on Reading.
My problem with reading these by issue rather than in a volume is that they're so darn short! I really like the concept of the story, but feel like I'm just barely getting into the story after 2 issues.
Quickly paced, but Andy's reticence to answer any questions (while understandable) is really frustrating. I get that it's ~building a mystery~ but also ugh.
I'm still enjoying the story. It following along.with the Netflix movie so far. Looking forward to the next one and wondering if it'll take a turn from the movie.
(Guess who just decided to read all current issues of The Old Guard in one sitting? Oh yes, it's me)
Again, the art/illustration is great! We get to know about Andy and Nile, and about their situation as immortals. Andy's character feel a little cold/stitled though, Nile as well.
