Vortexes in the Bermuda Triangle, dragons, sirens and magical battles are just a taste of what's in store for Rashell, Anna and Emileah. They are three sisters who have grown up as outcasts in the small town of Maurepas, Louisiana but are about to find themselves in a fight for their lives in the magical world of Aloria. The girls will face off against endless dangers as their mother struggles to deliver them to the safety of the caves of Lamaria where their father and grandfather are trying to gather their forces to take back the royal palace. They will deal with losing friends, betrayal, meeting new friends and dealing with powers and feelings they don't understand. Full of danger and excitement, heartache and even a bit of amusement. The girls struggle with finding out who they are, how they can do what they can do as their mother teaches them that the Lord gave them their abilities and that having them doesn't make them good or evil, what they choose to do with them is what defines who they are. Now they have to deal with growing up together, sibling rivalries and learning that at some point they will have to stick together or their bickering could destroy them all.
I didn't finish it, The premise drew me in but it was not written well enough to keep me going. Good idea, might need to be polished a bit and re-released.
Breaks barriers between fantasy and religion. Love the way that you get to enter a magical world where they still teach that the Lord created all. Very entertaining and enchanting.
