Joe Braden, a computer repair man awakens in hospital after he is hit by a car. Joe is brought back from the brink of death by the paramedics who saved him. But death doesn't want to be cheated and soon Joe is seeing the evil that lurks within people, one of them being the current boyfriend of his ex-wife. Believing her life is in danger, Joe tries to find answers to the visions he is seeing and soon he finds someone else that has seen them. They are called the Darkanoids and they will deliver their gift of death unless Joe can find a way to stop them.

Cast out of his home and his marriage, Jeremy Franco has to start all over again. He befriends his new downstairs neighbour Walter Beck who is friendly enough but comes across as a little strange. Jeremy struggles with his new life on his own and soon he is in a pit of despair as the demons from his past start to catch up with him. Walter offers a solution, but they unwittingly bring Jeremy's demon to life. With the beast on a murderous rampage through the people from Jeremy's past, he has to confront his darkest secret, the one that he has never spoken about or even thought about since it happened. It is his only hope of stopping the demon, and when it runs out of victims it will come home to him and it will consume him, unless Jeremy can face up to his darker side.

He normally writes in the horror genre but has turned his hand to children's books and contemporary fiction. He is most famously known for his novel Dawn of the Spiders which has entertained and appalled readers all across the globe.
