This book was written in 2005.Thus some parts are "obsolete".Its a book more about geopolitics than Ahmed Shah Massoud. The book begins with the author's attempts to meet Massoud. The only problem is that the narrative is not consistent with lot of history/geopolitics thrown in between two instances of present time. On the positive side, this book is only one of those few books where some bold claims about 9/11,Massoud's assassination and pipeline politics have been made. The last 30 pages are a "conspiracy theorists dream". I would certainly recommend it to those who have an interest in alternate history.
Author met with Massoud only once. I was expecting this book more to be about Massoud than about Conspiracy theories revolving about 9/11. Overall a light read but without real stuff.
