A pop up book about bugs at the beach.

This interactive book is for wee ones who can handle delicate and intricate illustrations as the mobile items can be damaged easily. The book I bought actually had a tear in it as the last two pages might be a bit too ambitious for the safety of the book, but they sure are exciting pages, too. Lots of surprises in this one.

This book was too enjoyable for Alice who ended up ripping out every single pop-up. The only page that is still functional is the one with the twinkling firefly bugs, yet she still clamors for it whenever she spies it on the shelf.

My children and I love these Bugs books! Years ago it was one of the titles that started my little ones on the road to literacy and has been a favorite ever since. We look forward to reading more of these jovial pop-up books in the future!

It's super cute and all, but I think the bug books are too small for storytime, and they don't last long for circulating. I'm not sure they're the best use of our limited monies.

A very cute mini pop up book. THe light up feature is really exciting for kids. My daughter was so excited that she took it to school for "news" the next day.
