Good characterization, good plot but poor editing! The author also bases this book in the series almost entirely in Florida but has a less than excellent knowledge base of Florid terrain & geography. As a Florida native as well as a being 3-tour Viet Nam War vet I have a fair amount of knowledge about not only Florida but also the military & combat tactics. Exciting read marred only by the typos, geographic snagfus & lack of knowledge about the his background area.

Interesting realistically thought out fictional scenario that can too easily become actual. Like how he develops the characters, male & female & the nature of human interactions. Will continue series.

This is a story about the end of the world. Or the end of American society. The Russians, Chinese, and ISIS have combined to bring down America and is in the process of succeeding except for a handful of true American patriots who are fighting to the death to repel and resist the invaders. A truly good suspenseful book to read.

Awesome Work !
Patriots Son was written by T.A. Walters. My new hero! How We choose to live after being invaded by our enemies of war, is what this book is truly about. I for one would fight for our Country and do what is necessary to overcome our enemies, foreign or domestic! Well written and looking forward to book 2.
