Passover Feast of Unleavened Bread Feast of First Fruits Feast of Pentecost Feast of Trumpets Day of Atonement Feast of Tabernacles The Feasts of Israel, set by God, are not only commemorative in a historical context, but are also prophetic. The first three feasts in the 1st month point to the Messiah's First Coming; the last three feasts in the 7th month, to His Second Coming. The middle feast highlights the Church, in more ways than is generally recognized. This briefing reveals the rich background of these feasts with many surprises for the Biblical believer, and yet only scratches the surface.
Charles "Chuck" Missler was an author, evangelical Christian, and Bible teacher, and former businessman and Air Force officer. He is the founder of the Koinonia House ministry based in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. Chuck Missler, an honors graduate of the United States Naval Academy, earned his Master of Science in Engineering from UCLA.[1] In 1999, Missler received a Ph.D. in biblical studies from the unaccredited Louisiana Baptist University in Shreveport,[2] an institution founded by the late minister Jimmy G. Tharpe.
This is an excellent study on the seven feasts of Israel and how it relates to the Jew and Gentile. Also makes the comparisons of Old Testament prophesies of the Messiah's First Coming... the New Testament account of Jesus' death, burial and resurrection with prophesies of Jesus Christ's Second Coming... and highlights the Church Age for the TRUE believers "in Christ" in the middle. I would recommend this to anyone who truly WANTS to know the truth of the Holy Bible KJV and for those who believe already and want a better understanding of the Feasts of Israel. "Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law." Romans 3:28
I've employed it as a valuable reference in my personal study to gain a deeper understanding of Israel's feasts, and the intricate patterns associated with these celebrations are nothing short of mind-blowing.
Missler's teaching on comprehending these feasts is nothing less than impeccable. I wholeheartedly recommend this book, as it proves to be an indispensable addition to your library, whether in digital or physical form.
I found this book to be most interesting in explaining the meaning of the Jewish Feasts. I would thoroughly recommend it to anyone seeking to improve their knowledge of the bible. Chuck Missler is a great bible teacher and having listened to him on Revelation TV his books are a 'must' buy.
I am an Orthodox Christian. And although not a believer in the Rapture myself ( which is something Chuck Missler almost always emphasizes) , I find the book very rich , fulfilling and to the point. Really loved it. RIP Dr Missler. He was truly dedicated to the Word of God. I learned much from him.
Excellent insightful analysis of the enigmatic things found in Scripture
I learned so much about the interwoven connectedness between the Old Testament and the New Testament and the analysis of the enigmatic things found in the old which are understood and explained by things written in the New Testament. This is a fascinating read!
Another great book and teaching on a very awesome subject bye chuck missler I'll give it a 5 star is rating very good book very in depth I suggest every Christian read God bless and god bless you chuck missler
Chuck's teaching has meant so much to me over the years. This book is no exception. He does a great job of giving you insight into the feasts of Israel. Definitely worth reading.
Outstanding and very powerful for such a short read. I will be looking to go further into Chuck's resources as the information is overwhelming and extremely credible. I will never celebrate Passover and Easter the same from here on out!
This little book was packed full of information and I learned so much from it. This was my first book by Chuck Missler and I definitely will be hunting down more of them.
Chuck Missler is incredibly wise so I got this book hoping to have a better understanding of Jewish festivals from a Christian perspective. This was definitely a good choice. It's a quick read but packed with information. Definitely worth reading if you need a biblical view of Jewish festivals and how they point to Christ.
A very good read for sure. This really helps in pin pointing around when the rapture could happen. Also gave me a way better understanding of what exactly the feasts represent & what was going on at the time.
