Love the anime, the live action series and the novel. I am near the playoffs now and still reading. Chapter 1342 of 1728. about 8-12 hours per 200 chapters, so a very long read. You have to skip some repetitive parts, but overall very worthwhile.

One of the best parts yet! The author's storytelling style and setting changed a lot, expanding a lot on character's backstories and their lives outside of the game. It was a key turning point in the series (and also all the shows and OVAs). Can't wait to see what comes next!

Good stuff. Although, it feels like the author repeats stuff a lot within the same chapter, so sometimes it's a little irritating.
