The Missing Super Boxset: A Collection Of Riveting Mysteries

Rate this book
Best-selling Mystery/Thriller author James Hunt brings you a collection of his highest rated mysteries! These stories have accumulated over 500 five-star reviews and have been boxed together for the first time! That's FOUR BOOK SERIES totaling TWELVE NOVELS!

Death Notes

The body count in Baltimore is rising, and the weight of those lives rest on Homicide Detective Adila Cooper’s shoulders. It’s only a matter of time before the killer strikes again, and the sands of the hour glass have already started sifting away.

Deadly Webs

When a child goes missing the amount of resources that authorities use is substantial. Abduction cases are taken very seriously by all of the parties involved. None more so than by Chase Grant, a detective in Seattle’s eighteenth precinct. The clock starts the moment he gets the call from a parent, and the first twelve hours are crucial. Every move counts, and every choice matters. If he missteps, then a child might not come home. But today was different. He got a call about a missing child. And then another, and another, and another…

Stolen

Trust holds a small town together. When times are tough you know you can lean on your neighbor for help. But when a political movement splits the town of Barta, North Dakota in half, and a young girl goes missing, the trust is broken. Who took Kaley Hayes?

Static

The thin thread holding the civilized world together has been severed. Millions of citizens have been thrust into the unknown, breeding fear into the minds and souls of those seeking to survive. Wren Burton, an architect from Chicago, has been engulfed by the chaotic aftermath of an EMP blast. Her family is injured. The enemy is unknown. And help is nowhere to be found.

Pleasantly surprised

I was very pleasantly surprised by the quality of this box set. James Hunt has done a good job. All of the stories were interesting with good plot development and at least one very well developed main character. There are some editorial issues, but I have seen MUCH worse. All of the stories held my interest and were often difficult to put down. Anyone who likes mysteries, suspense and emp/ apocalyptic stories will enjoy this set. My favorite character was Wren, what a woman!!!

Wonderful!

I love mysteries, crime thrillers, etc. This book was excellent. Things that we can relate to today, but pray we don't to this extent. A heroine for those who love that. I can't say enough. James Patterson is my favorite writer, but this book proves there are other great writers to read.

Much like a tv show, walking dead

The story line was too much like a tv series, walking dead. I knew the plot in the beginning and it was just a matter of reading who did what. I would give a rating of three.

I made it through the first book and though the story is good the main character is unlikeable and everyone in the book hates her or she feels they are dirty and can't be trusted. It was really hard to take and read. I just can't keep going.

Not for me

A gory death described in detail and then the f bomb all within the first few pages. That's when I deleted the books. Maybe I didn't read enough reviews to know this was not the kind of mystery I like. Paid for a set of books I'll never read.

Love this collection, captivating

I love the style in which James Hunt writes. It's simple, and it's captivating. Truly couldn't put it down. I was a little disappointed that they didn't continue with the same characters. But not enough to put it down. A definite read!!

Great stories

The stories were riveting and kept me trying to read faster. The dropped star was from several editing type errors but I definitely enjoyed the ride.

I had the audible version of the set. I enjoyed almost all the books except Deadly Webs due to the narrator. Every sentence she spoke sounded like a question and I couldn't finish the book.
