Why is it that Little Bear seems to be too small or too big for everything? Little Bear is excited to do so many things! He rushes into the kitchen to have his breakfast, but he finds he is too small to cut his food without Mama Bear's help. He is too big to nap in his little bed, but too small to reach Dad's cell phone on the table. Every child will relate to Little Bear's predicament, and laugh along with this touching, amusing tale.
Trebuie sa recunosc ca si prichindelul meu imi tot parea ori prea mic, ori prea mare pentru anumite lucruri. Cred ca mereu va fi asa, cel putin pana in ziua cand eu voi ajunge sa fiu cea mica, dar cel mai important e faptul ca va avea mereu marimea potrivita sa isi gaseasca linistea in bratele mele.
Hi, everyone! I'm working for a Russian website dedicated to children's books and children's reading Papmambook.ru. We've been building the English version of the website. We are proud that a lot of our reviewers are teenagers. Here's what one of them had to say on Too Big, Too Small.
As the title says ... Little Bear is too big for some things, too small for other things. It starts to feel like he's not the right size for anything. There is some humor as he starts to see that anyone can be too big/small for certain things, and that some things have NO size limits at all. Not really a profound storyline, but it was cute and the illustrations were appealing.
This would be a good book to compare and contrast with the traditional story of the 3 bears. It’s also just a cute book to read with your toddler. My 3 year old laughed and could relate to the story.
Brilliant use of scale and cuteness. Loved the giant cutlery in the car. Communication without conflict, bitterness or anger. Good for you, little bear.
Consistent and passionate about helping; this book shows students what it is like to be a good help in the classroom. They can do anything no matter there size within their classroom, home, and community.
