I am an author, teacher and researcher. I have authored/co-authored four psychology textbooks for schools, and my most recent book ‘Psychology in the Classroom’ (with Marc Smith) is an engaging and accessible guide to applying psychological concepts to teaching - from memory to mindset! I'm currently working on an evidence-based guide to using the psychology of creativity (for writers, artists, researchers, or anyone else who does creative work). I'm also working on two further books for teachers, a primer on classic psychological research, and a creative non-fiction work about memory. I live on the west coast of Scotland with my family and dog, and I work at the University of Strathclyde (Glasgow, Scotland). Twitter - @JW_Firth
