A high school reunion is about to get down and dirty and a whole lot more complicated in this new romance from USA Today bestselling author Avery Flynn.

Brains and a badass attitude. That’s all troublemaker Leah Camacho took with her when she left Catfish Creek. She’d promised herself she’d never go back, but when the invite to her tenth high school reunion arrived along with the chance to show everyone who doubted her what a success she’s made of herself, she couldn’t resist. However, when she discovers a 15-carat, stolen diamond in her rental car’s glove box, there’s only one man she can turn to for help—the same sexy, stubborn domineering man who’d smashed her heart all those years ago.

Sheriff Drew Jackson knew a long time ago that Leah Camacho was nothing but trouble and has sworn to never get caught up in her again—no matter how damn sexy she is or how badly he’d failed to forget her. But, when the woman who test drove his heart right into a concrete wall rolls into Catfish Creek with some serious bad guys on her tail, it’s up to him to keep her safe—even if that means guarding her hot bod 24/7 without giving into temptation or losing his mind.

Looking for action, intrigue, and scorching hot steamy scenes? You're looking for Trouble! Avery Flynn combines the frienemies and second chance romance tropes to giver her readers a very entertaining and fast read

 photo IMG_0058.png

Here's the breakdown:Leah Camacho returns to Cactus Creek to attend her high school reunion. An expected upgrade at the car rental counter leads to an unbelievable series of events, including being pulled over by her ex who just happens to be the Sheriff.

What I enjoyed: The characters. Dirty talking alpha bad-boys are my thing. Drew fits the bill. He's bossy, commanding, sexy, and doesn't take crap. Leah is a strong, take-charge woman who speaks her mind. She and Drew fit each very well.

The shenanigans. The story is the perfect mix of relationship steamy romps and Leah locking horns with Drew mixed in with action and suspense.

The delivery - the book is fun, flirty, and entertaining.

Overall, this is quite an enjoyable read. I can' wait to revisit this author's work in the future.

This is my second read from this author and I'm looking forward to reading more. Her books are fast-paced, action-packed, and full of over the top shenanigans. Oh, and I can't leave out the dirty-talking alphas :) Very enjoyable.

Welcome to Bad Boy Homecoming! Five bestselling authors got together to see what happens when bad boy heroes (and even a bad girl or two!) roll back into a small town in Texas for their High School reunion. Sexy times, angst-filled memories, and second chances abound with this contemporary romance series.
ONE REUNION... FIVE SECOND CHANCES

What a great read Trouble turned out to be.
The storyline was entertaining all throughout the book, it was well written, the drama was just enough to keep you turning the pages and the heat between Drew and Leah was scorching!!

description

I loved watching Drew and Leah get their second chance at love. I loved their banter, their honesty and their passion. These two had amazing chemistry and they totally belonged together.

The Bad Boy Homecoming series has been a joy to read, each book can be read as a standalone and I highly recommend them all.

TROUBLE by Avery Flynn is the first for me by this author. I'm always keen on reading anything new and I enjoy a quick fun read. I'm a sucker for second chances, and I adore a good sexy time situation. ;)

Leah and Drew have BEEN there and DONE that. A girl has been in love for years with a boy who can't see what she sees. For him, it's only for a good time, and then your classic walk out, run away scenario ensues and she's destroyed and he's none the wiser. A high school reunion is a perfect way for our two mains to reunite. Add is some crazy jewel heist and you've got yourself and twisted plot.

Though I found the story entertaining, and the writing flowed well, I just feel like It fell a little short for me. The tale is a little condensed and at 85% the story is over-which was a bit disappointing. There was some chemistry with Drew and Leah and the sex was kinda hot, and I also really liked the handcuffs!

That's not to say I didn't root for Drew and Leah, I really liked how Flynn was able to make their reunion funny and awkward and just perfect. I especially liked the part when Drew wore his uniform!!

I'd totally give Flynn another go. If you're info a quick, fast, sexy read, with very little angst, but filled with yummy sexual tension-then this is for you!

3.5 I Like Trouble Stars!

Avery Flynn did it again with Trouble and the only thing this book made me want to do was read the rest of the series by some amazing authors. She made this story light, fun, intriguing and interesting. But, then again, it’s what I expected.

Leah was one badass woman. She had a chip on her shoulder the size of Texas and the biggest part of that chip is definitely Drew Jackson. So, who is the first person that she runs into? Of course, the bane of her existence. The man who ripped her heart out. The man that is even sexier now than he was when he walked away without a backward glance. She has no idea what she got herself into but she knows she’s in deep and there is only one man that she can trust to keep her safe. But, at what expense?

Drew Jackson knows he’s in trouble when he pulls over the Aston Martin and the one person he never thought he would see in Catfish Creek again steps out of the vehicle. And, the little head stands up and does a dance while the big head screams “no”. This is supposed to be his last week here as Sheriff and he can get out of this crazy town. He did the family obligation thing and wants nothing more than to move on. But, dealing with the insane Mayor and now Leah, his last week will be anything but peaceful. So, finding out that Leah is in trouble, he can’t help but be there for her, be her bodyguard and get her out of his system.

Too bad neither one of them could turn off their libido when they are around the other. A pair of hand-cuffs, a couple of commands, a lot of dirty talk and Drew has Sweets panties melting right off her. Too bad it doesn’t do anything with her attitude. Now, he has to find a way to protect her without his heart getting involved, again. When everything goes sideways, he can’t ignore his feelings anymore. She may have had a crush on him in the past but he was definitely in love with her. Next task after saving her ass – convince her.

Avery Flynn put a little bit of everything in this story … defiance, frustration, sex, humor, intrigue, pot, sex. Did I mention that the sex was off the charts? Leah’s attitude way hysterical. Drew fighting his attraction was even funnier. Even when danger came knocking on the door, you couldn’t help but smile. I love Avery Flynn’s style of writing and always look forward to the stories that she pens. It was no different with Trouble.

Outrageously good! I can't begin to do it justice with my review, but it's enough to say it's Avery at her finest doing what she does best, weaving a story that will rope you right in and keep you there until the last steamy page is read.
Book 2 of the BBH series and I have to say I wasn't sure by the blurb how the book was going to go. So just ignore it and jump right in. Leah left town after high school, half bad girl, half brainiac. And I have to say it thrilled me that someone finally wrote an intelligent woman whose intelligence was mention more than once as an aside in the beginning. Leah decides to come home for the ten year reunion, in part to show the small minded people in town that she's a successful and bright business woman, that her nickname of Trouble hasn't stuck and really to see if Drew Jackson is there. Leah has loved Drew since she was 6. Yeah I know, but I happens. Drew is Sheriff on his way out and in his last week of work when Leah comes into town driving an Astin which she rented in Ft Worth,
with a large dually truck following her. She doesn't know why. Drew and Leah were an item, briefly until he up and left her without even a goodbye and took a job in Ft Worth at the PD there. Leah, who has a temper that matches the size of her girls, takes no prisoners and no crap from anyone. She puts Drew and anyone else in their place. Coming into town she has a blow out and the car is taken to the garage, they have to order the tire, they bag up her stuff including a little bag she found in the glove box and off she goes. She finally puts it together that it's not a kids toy. It's a diamond missing from a huge jewel heist and there is one man who will do anything to get it back.

Her brother Issac runs B-Squad, so this is a great overlap with the books as Issac is called because of the guys that seem to think Leah has something they want. Drew and Issac work on a plan and Drew is determined to protect her. They seem to work out some of their differences, but every time Drew seems to get a leg up, he does something so lame that he's just damned. Meanwhile he denies so much of their relationship. Leah just ignores it. So protective of not wanting to get hurt again. Add to that the fact that her best friend growing up was Drew's sister Jessica (Prom Queen) and when they hit high school she dumped Leah and made her life hell. Reading Prom Queen is a must.

I loved the dialogue between Leah and Drew, how Drew finally grew up through the course of this book and realized his part in what happened between himself and Leah and his part in enabling his Mother. (read the book) And the family dysfunction there. And the end of the book and the twists.
I'm smiling. Yep. Avery. She can pull your strings, from being righteously angry like Leah, feeling helpless and frustrated like Drew and getting all hot and steamy with the two of them. She weaves a great story here and this one you won't want to miss.

I'd give it 10 stars. Great story Avery, it's over the top!!!

This has been a great series that I totally read out of order and guess what, it didn't matter! Each of the stories can be read as a standalone but if you're like me once you read one of them you'll want to read them all. Trouble is the second book in the Bad Boy Homecoming series but it was the forth book that I read. I LOVED Drew and Leah together! I need to say that this was probably my favorite book of the series, and that's saying a lot because the whole series was great.

I enjoy second chance romance, as the intensity of the renewal of the relationship is a lot of fun and adds an instant depth to the story.

Leah and Drew were together after grad school and then he left, without much of a goodbye or ending to their relationship. So, needless to say, she is a little angry with him. And, wouldn't we all be in the same situation.

Leah wants respect. She was seen as nothing but trouble in high school. She is going to her high school reunion to show everyone that she did make something of herself. Unfortunately, trouble finds her here too. In the form of her ex Drew, a stolen diamond, and some thieves who really want that diamond back.

I enjoyed this overall, although I did think at times the romance of the story was a little lost within the plot of the reunion and the stolen gem, this was enjoyable overall and the chemistry between Lean and Drew was a lot of fun.

I do recommend this book.

Trouble is a spin-off story from Avery's B-Squad series, although it isn't necessary to read the series in order to enjoy Trouble (I haven't) it is going to leave you more than a little curious as to the background stories of the peripheral characters, especially Leah's brother, Isaac, as little titbits are sprinkled through the narrative to entice you into delving further ;)

Leah was labelled as a bad girl during high school, pushing the boundaries and asserting her individuality, while not particularly bad her actions did set her apart from the herd, and we all know standing out in high school can create it's own kind of hell. Add in the feud with the Prom Queen  and you had one heck of a turbulent time for Leah. It didn't help matters that she fell hard and fast for the Prom Queen's brother, Drew, although they kept their relationship a closely guarded secret. Graduation saw their bitter breakup with Drew leaving Leah in the dust to pursue a career away from Catfish Creek.

Drew has always done what is expected of him, selflessly putting aside his own plans in order to help his family. Even at the expense of his own happiness. the only time he has pursued his own dreams all the other areas of his life imploded including his relationship with Leah. Although he hasn't been able to forget her and no other woman has ever matched up. Drew is at a cross-roads in his life having returned to Catfish Creek to stand in as Sheriff and aid his alcoholic mother, although his tenure has nearly ended and his options have opened up, Drew is still reluctant to follow his heart.

Leah has embraced her bad girl image by opening a medicinal marijuana shop (although it is legal in the state she lives in) not exactly the most appropriate of career choices, lol. Attending the reunion is a way for Leah to lay all of the ghosts from her youth to rest, including her biggest one, Drew. However, Leah unwittingly gets caught up in a jewellery theft putting her life in danger as a result.

Drew, being the Sheriff, takes it upon himself to keep Leah safe, or that is the excuse he gives himself in order to keep Leah close to him. The attraction between them hasn't diminished in the slightest with the ten year absence. Things get very hot between them, although they try to justify their actions as a form of closure. Leah and Drew are inevitable as long as they can overcome the ties that bind them to Catfish Creek ensuring history does not repeat itself.

I loved Drew and Leah's relationship and the second chance they had not only to be together but to pursue their own happiness in the form of their chosen careers. However, I would have liked a little more background detail to their previous relationship while in high school and the resulting breakup. I couldn't quite grasp the dynamics of it with Drew blaming Leah and vice-versa. I have most definitely added the B-Squad series to my wish-list as a result of reading Trouble ;)

Y’all, this one was SO FREAKING GOOD. First, it had the super sexy second chance romance I have been loving from the Bad Boy Homecoming series, but it also added a bit of suspense and that drew me even further in.

After reading about Leah as a secondary character in the first book in the Bad Boy Homecoming series, I couldn’t wait to see her get her (second) chance at love. I wasn’t sure who it would come with, but I was excited to find out. She was super feisty and sassy and I kinda loved her. Who knew the “bad girl” would be paired with the town sheriff and it would be HOT AF? I was addicted to their chemistry from the first time they laid eyes on each other and once I read their first sexy scene? Well, I was fanning myself as I was turning the pages. While these two have amazingly hot chemistry, they also have some very real feelings for each other … even if they don’t necessarily want to. Add to all this the more suspenseful storyline of the Rhinestone Cowboys and I was that much *more* addicted to this novella.

This is my first Avery Flynn book and I’m totally kicking myself for not reading her sooner, despite meeting her in Baltimore a couple years ago. Now I need to make time to read some (all?) of her backlist. I really liked her characters, writing and the storyline. Of course, I loved the sexy times, too. She definitely brought ’em. Trouble was such a great addition to the Bad Boy Homecoming series — and it just might be my favorite so far.

Trouble is a fast, fun and sexy read that is perfect for a summer afternoon read! This is a great second chance romance that will leave wanting more of Leah and Drew!

It’s High School reunion time back in Catfish Creek and Leah Camacho came back for one thing. She’s back to show everyone she’s made a name for herself and she’s not the person they all thought she was. Oh, and one other reason...to see exactly what Sheriff Drew Jackson has been up to besides holding her heart hostage.

Drew has put Leah out of his heart and his mind, until she comes speeding through town with trouble on her trail. He is basically on his way out of town when trouble comes barreling right thru. Drew has no idea what he’s in for now that Leah is back.

A hidden gem in Leah's rental car, two goons on her tail, FBI involvement and the hot Sheriff she let go of lead to one wild ride in Catfish Creek!

This book was so entertaining, I read quickly in one afternoon. I was completely wrapped up in the characters and their undeniable chemistry. Their banter was playful and yet sexy, which led to some very sexy encounters….which of course included handcuffs :)

Trouble is told from dual points of view with a ton of fun, sexiness and a mystery that will have you on the edge of your seat! Another great story from Avery Flynn!!

Spinning off from the B-Squad series, Trouble follows Isaac's sister Leah Camacho and his friend Sheriff Drew Jackson. To Drew, Leah spelled nothing but trouble, but he can't deny that thinking that way about her is just an excuse. In truth, Leah is exactly what Drew needs to get out of this hole he's dug for himself but he's just too stubborn to admit it.

Leah being Leah returns to Catfish Creek under the pretext of attending her high school reunion but deep down inside she was coming back to Drew, the only man she's ever loved and who broke her heart when he just upped and walked away.

The reasons why he did that in the past and why he's probably going to do it again takes a bit of a back seat when he realizes that Leah is in hot water and she didn't even have to try. So, of course, he has to help her. Yes, Issac and Tamara make an appearance along with a few more from the B-Squad and I can also promise you some steamy action as well as the other kind.

~~I received a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads ~~

This is one of a series of books with the same theme, but by different authors. I read them out of order, but it definitely didn't matter, as nothing important is revealed about any other story-line. We meet Drew's sister, and Leah's nemesis in Prom Queen.

Whilst most of the stories have focussed on the people and the event, there is a side story happening in this one, which is super cool, and a lot of fun. It gives even more justification to the way that things play out between the leads - although no one could deny the evident chemistry, even if they want to!

Not that anyone would be surprised that people change in ten years, all these books have done a great job in showing how and why, and whether they are prepared to learn from experience, or continue to think the worse. I would definitely recommend them to you.

To readers of Ms Flynn's B-Squad books, there is an additional treat in store!

Lovely first encounter with new-to-me author

3,5 stars. I hadn’t read any Avery Flynn books before but that is surely going to change now because this fiest encounter has put me on the path of her B-Squad series and I must read those now!
I liked this entry in the Bad Boy Homecoming series as it was a combination of sexy contemporary and romantic suspense. Both Leah and Drew were characters I loved and I was intrigued by all the secondary characters that were mentioned relating to the B-Squad series. Especially cat-obssessed hacker Lexie (haven’t found her book so I don’t think she has one but sure hope Flynn is going to give her one). For a short book (amz says 163 pages) it didn’t feel like it. There was a lot of background, great characterization and a suspense plot. And though I thought the suspense plot was a tiny bit predictable (I had suspiscions quite early on and I’m very bad at figuring stuff out in suspense) and also a bit rushed, the romance part of the story was right up my alley, including Drew’s dirty talk.
I will definitely be reading more from this author.

To go to her tenth high school reunion, Leah Camacho decided to rent a flashy Aston Martin to impress the crowd, to show them she was someone. When she’s told she’s the store’s lucky 100th customer for the day, and it’s only morning, she suspects something’s fishy, but whatever. When she looks at her rental contract and she finds, what she later learns is a 15-carat diamond, she knows something is definitely not right. Of course, she would have a flat for Drew Jackson to witness. Drew had been in the Forth Worth PD, what is he doing being the Catfish Creek Sheriff? Drew can’t believe his eyes when he sees Leah, the former bad girl-goth-nerd, who was TROUBLE. And now, with two guys following her, she really is TROUBLE.

Avery Flynn’s Bad Boy Homecoming instalment is also part of her B-Squad series, as some characters from the latter make some brief appearances. And dear readers, this is not a book to cool off this summer! Can you spell S-I-Z-Z-L-I-N-G! Avery Flynn goes with all guns blazing and the story unfolds at a furious pace. Leah and Drew drive each other crazy in every sense of the word. The writing is seamless, and Ms. Flynn’s snort-inducing sense of humour colours the whole story. Leah is a force of nature, and trying to contain her is akin to catching a tornado in a paper cup, and Drew is an all-around awesome character; he’s exactly the kind of hero I love. Strangely enough, I think my favourite parts of the book were the conversations between Drew and his mother, as well as the characters’ backgrounds. TROUBLE is Avery Flynn at her wildest best!

I enjoyed it, and it even brought back memories of my reunion. The chemistry of Drew and Leah was explosive. I understood why Leah was fighting it, even though she really did not put up much of a fight, she did not want her heart broken again, but I really did not get Drew's reasoning, besides his batshit crazy momma. I kind of hoped that we would have gotten to see a confrontation of Leah and his sister, since an issue with them was mentioned, but I am wondering if it will be in Jessica's book. I also kind of wished that we would have read more of her friendship with Gray, since she constantly mentioned he was her best friend, but I guess this book, was about her and Drew. I loved to read about big brother Isaac and how came thru, and was going to beat down Drew, too funny, anyway I do not want to give spoilers, but I did enjoy, of course, a lot of stuff was off the wall, but it was a book, enjoyable, and I purchased the whole set, so I am off to read.

Sassy rule breaker Vs law and order!!
This book was such fun to read from the very beginning...Leah is on her way to her hometown for her 10 year high school reunion when she finds herself is middle of a jewel heist. Her ex-best friend's brother Drew is the sheriff almost at the end of his tenure and her childhood crush.
They are explosive together , both in passion and words. She is the epitome of bad girl (with a very unique career) and he loves following the rules. He is the perfect alpha to match her sass and I loved their banter.
Fighting the bad guys added the zing to the story. All in all a fun read. I now want to read all the other books in this series.

5 Candi Kisses and some "Sweets"!

What a great read. As usual with Avery Flynn, we get a great story, awesome characters and a believable plot.

Leah has nothing to prove, but yet there she goes, off to the Reunion, to see how life has treated the social elite from back in day...OK That's a lie, she is going for one reason and one reason, Drew Jackson.

Drew is pulled back to his small hometown by his Mom (because she has the make the child feel guilty if he doesn't superpower). The last thing he needs is Tornado Leah Camancho coming in and destroying his somewhat, accepted peace.

What we get is an explosive, sexy read that gives ya the warm and fuzzies.

A high school reunion has folks coming home to Catfish Creek who swore they would never return. Leah Camacho is one of those people. Yet the opportunity to show everyone that she's a success is too hard to resist. Always known as the town troublemaker it seems nothing much has changed when Leah finds herself in the middle of an FBI investigation and hiding out in the home of her high school love. It's all just too much. Or maybe just right.

Quick fun read that I highly recommend.

Damn, Trouble is hot! Nothing I love better than second chance romances, and Avery Flynn has written a great one here. Leah Camacho is finally going home to Catfish Creek for her high school reunion. She's a successful businesswoman who owns her own marijuana dispensary in Denver, and she wants to show all the mean girls and mean boys in her hometown that they can shove their small minded bullshit up their asses, cuz she's not the troubled freak they always thought she was.

She doesn't expect to run into the man who decimated her heart one summer, while she's there. He's the one who got away, or rather, the one who kicked her to the curb, after a summer of steamy fun. Drew Jackson is on his last week as Sheriff of Catfish Creek when Trouble with a capital T comes rolling up in a shiny Aston Martin, and an ominous looking SUV trailing her. Even though Leah drives him batty, he's never gotten her out of his mind, and when she brings trouble to his town, he knows he's the one to protect her.

As Mr. Law and Order and little Miss Trouble endeavor to keep Leah alive and kicking, they fall into bed. Leah's long hair and hot pink lingerie do something to him, but more importantly, Drew realizes that he can't let Leah run from him again, that she's the one. The hurt he inflicted on her when he was stupid enough to let her go is obviously still affecting her, though, because Leah doesn't seem as if she's planning on letting him have heart again just so he can trample all over it. Sure, she'll let him have her body, but her heart? Not a chance. So, the fact that he has handcuffs on him just might come in handy if he wants to keep her with him.

Trouble is a hot, sweet little read. Drew and Leah have chemistry in spades, and I absolutely love Leah! She's feisty, smart and sweet. Drew is a hot alphahole but at least he has a sweet heart inside his yummy bod, and when he finally lets Leah see it...swoon!

Now that I've gotten a taste of the B Squad, thanks to Leah's brother Isaac's little cameo, I want to check out that series, if it's anything like Trouble, I know it will be hot!

M/F Romance
I was given this book for an honest review by Wicked Reads.

This is a sweet second chance romance where Leah, who I loved from Grayson's story comes back to see if others have changed or still judge her from high school. With her ten year reunion just days away, she drags herself and Grayson to the reunion. Little does she know, but she's picked up a nasty hitchhiker and trouble soon follows. This is what Leah is known for - trouble.

Drew is the all american good old boy. He did what was expected until he decided he didn't want to do corporate, like his father. Instead, he took a chance and fell in love his senior year. What he didn't expect was that the love would last forever. When he comes across Leah in her sticky situation, he jumps in to help.

Old feelings resurface and old hurts turn in to new ways to hurt. Despite that, the chemistry between Leah and Drew was decent. I liked how fast paced the story was and how it was mostly not about the reunion, but about their relationship.

I am really hoping that Leah's brother is next!

I was really excited to read the Bad Boy Homecoming series as it sounded like something totally different - 5 couples; 10 different people, all someone we might identify with back in high school. Avery Flynn's Trouble was outstanding. Drew and Leah had passion, intensity, banter and kept me hooked from the get go!

When high school bad girl Leah Camacho decided to attend her 10 year high school reunion and go back to the town that thought the worst of her she never expected to run back into trouble. But what happens when danger and the man she's loved since she was six years old all come barreling into her life at warp speed! Fireworks, folks and it was so damn sexy I couldn't get enough.

I really loved Trouble! Leah and Drew were so damn scorching! I loved the fast paced, high adrenaline suspense in this story. Really well done! Bravo! 4 Stars ~Ratula

I so enjoyed this book in the Homecoming series. As a big fan of the B-Squad series I liked the cameo of them as well. I just gobbled up this book. Leah is going to her ten year high school reunion, but that's not her true reason for heading back to Catfish Creek. The chemistry between Drew and Leah was smokin' hot. It had the flair of humor that I look forward to when reading an Avery Flynn book. The suspense element had me on the edge of my seat and had me wanting to finish the book to see what happened next. I loved the ending and has me caving more B-Squad!

Trouble
By: Avery Flynn

Avery Flynn delivers a sensual second chance romance with lots of sass, intrigue, action, and heat, bringing nothing but Trouble…

Trouble is the second installment in the brilliant Bad Boy Homecoming Series, that brings together five amazing authors in interconnected stories set at the same small town high school reunion. Brought to us by the remarkable Avery Flynn, Trouble focuses on the story of Drew Jackson and Leah Camacho. Two sides of the same coin, Drew colors within the lines and follows all the rules…Leah, on the other hand, pushes the limits and dances to the beat of her own drum. Growing up together in small town Catfish Creek, Leah always pushed Drew’s buttons…and he pushed hers in return. The summer after college graduation, they give into their mutual attraction and spend a summer in absolute bliss together…until Drew walks away, and shatters Leah’s heart. Back for the reunion, and to prove to everyone that she was more than the stereotype they labeled her with, Leah’s first run-in with Drew is full of fire. Between her sass and attitude, and his righteous indignation, the sparks fly and the chemistry is over the top. When it becomes clear that trouble has followed Leah to Catfish Creek, Drew makes it his mission to keep her safe. As the danger mounts, and Leah becomes the target of dangerous men, the heat and growing attachment between them are the only thing keeping them sane. When the stakes get even higher, Drew and Leah are forced to acknowledge their feelings…but the question remains if they will get their happily ever after.

I loved this book! It was sweet, sensual, sassy, sexy, fun, and full of action! From the sexy cover, to the intriguing blurb sure to hook her readers, Ms. Flynn has created a great escape from everyday life. The characters were amazing. Leah had a fire and spirit that I absolutely fell in love with. Her attitude and sass made me laugh, smile, and occasionally cringe…but her heart was as beautiful as the woman herself. Tough on the outside, and tender on the inside, Leah was a fabulous leading lady. I loved her snark! Drew was everything a girl wants in a good guy hero. From his classic good looks, to his bad boy muscles and kink, Drew was the entire package. With an attitude all his own, and a loyalty that sometimes goes too far, Drew is the epitome of the good guy with a big…heart. The plot and storyline are unique, and well developed. Ms. Flynn developed a story that will keep you captivated and intrigued, while adding in some sexy bits as well. A truly great read, and one I would definitely recommend!

This is a first time read for me with this author so I was excited to see her spin on this humorous second chance romance. Trouble is the second book in a series written by compilation of authors about a group of bad boys and girls that come back to their small home town in Texas for their high school reunion. Sexy times, some angst, and a whole lot of hilarity ensues as they all traverse down the road to relive their glory days of high school. The series should be read in order, but I have started with Trouble, I do not feel like I was missing any information but I want to go back and read the first book just to make sure.

The story is centered around trouble maker Leah Camacho who seems to bring trouble along where ever she goes, and her summer fling turned sheriff Drew Jackson. These two could not be more different than water and fire, but man do they create magic when they are together and for some reason they can not get enough of each other. When Leah returns to their small town in Texas for the High School reunion for once she brings trouble that she was not planning on. Between the paid muscle and FBI breathing down her neck, the last thing she needs is Drew weaseling his way back into her life. Drew and Leah are thrown together in a hilarious comedy or errors to ends up being the answer to both of their prayers.

Flynn turns the enemies to lovers trope on its head with this one. Leah and Drew say they hate each other, but they really love each other. Even we know that is what is going on but they are too busy trying to cover their feelings with witty banter and snarky comments that they are unable to see what is even in front of them. Although this is obviously a love story, Flynn gives us a humorous and at times action packed story full of character and heart that is like nothing we have read recently. Leah has a sass to her like none other, but its all to cover her soft and gentle side that apparently no one but Drew is able to uncover. Drew is the by the book boy who does what is best for everyone else but himself, however Leah is always there to make sure he is looking out for what is best for him and call him out on his crap. Flynn creates these lovable characters that jump of the pages right into our hearts. We are along for the ride with these two and I for one would not have it any other way

This is a quick humorous read that is great for the sitting by the pool or on the beach! I would definitely recommend that you add this to you summer TBR list.

Leah Camacho is determined to show her high school classmates how successful she's become in the ten years since she graduated. However, the moment she arrives in town she finds herself in trouble and having to try to stay out of the clutches of the bad guys that believe she has in her possession a 15-carat diamond. Luckily though, she has Drew Jackson willing to help keep her safe. Will his plan to take down the bad guys work, or will their second chance at happy ever after be ripped away?

Mixing contemporary romance with a dash of suspense is something I'd love reading more of by Ms. Flynn, because she pens a fantastic read in this book that kept me satisfied from start to finish. Leah and Drew are total opposites with him being a police officer who always does what's right even when he's out of uniform, which is proven by how he falls in line with what his family expects of him. While Leah, she owns a legal marijuana shop and is a total bad girl who always seems to find trouble wherever she goes. Will they be able to overcome their differences to get their second chance at love? Will Drew finally go after what he wants instead of falling in line with what his family wants?

The dialogue was well-written and completely enthralling due to the main characters back stories and the history between the hero and heroine, the trouble Leah finds herself in, the feisty attitude Leah has towards Drew that makes it palpable she doesn't back down from anything no matter how much he wants her to, and the ending that had me on the edge-of-my-seat due to what happens to the main characters. Will Drew be able to protect Leah? However, the dialogue wasn't all intense. There were also some really good light-hearted moments that had me smiling, because these two are nothing but playful when it comes to their intimate moments. Drew certainly knows how to spice things up in the bedroom and the heroine is one lucky woman to have his undivided attention.

As for the main characters, I really enjoyed both of them. The heroine is strong and brave because of all she's overcome in her past and faces throughout this story. I also like her feistiness and her determination to rattle the bad guys instead of waiting for them to come after her. Why shouldn't they take the fight and hopefully force the bad guys to make a mistake? While Drew, he's done right by his family for too long and it's about time he did something for himself. Will he finally pursue a future with Leah without caring about what his parents think, especially his mother with the way she treats Leah? He's also confident, cocky and I liked how protective he was of the heroine, even though she's very independent and believes she can take care of herself.

Overall, Ms. Flynn has delivered a steamy and very engaging read in this book where the chemistry and romance between Drew and Leah was sizzling and explosive. The way this story ended had me reading quickly determined to discover whether Drew would be able to convince Leah to take a chance on him. Will the wonderful words the hero says to Leah win her over? I would recommend Trouble by Avery Flynn, if you enjoy second chance romances, small town romances, the opposites attract trope or books by authors Carrie Ann Ryan, Katee Robert, Kennedy Layne or Stacey Kennedy.

A highly entertaining, second chance romance that you won't want to miss! This is the second book in the Bad Boy Homecoming series, written by several authors, which is about coming home for what most of them see as the dreaded 10 year high school reunion. This is the only book I have read in the series so far, but it's certainly not going to be the last.

Drew is the current sheriff in their small town, at least for the next week, and basically in name only, since he didn't win the last election, which is fine with him. He left his job at the Ft. Worth police department as a compromise with his mother, she goes to rehab, and he comes home. What he never expected was to see the one woman who he's never been able to forget, Leah, but when she rolls into town with trouble hot on her heals, he knows that his life will never be the same.

Leah was the brainy girl with the bad attitude in high school, and things haven't changed much since then. Now the owner of her own business in Colorado, she's determined to show all of the people who shunned her back then that she's more than they gave her credit for. When renting her car to get to their small town, she has no idea what trouble she's just landed in. When Drew steps in to help, she knows that her time in town is going to be harder than she ever imagined, especially since she hasn't gotten over the hurt and humiliation of him leaving her all those years ago.

When the FBI get involved, they both realize that everything is more serious than they expected, and it's only going to get worse. Now that she's got Drew as her full time babysitter, neither can contain the explosive chemistry between them. Can Drew keep her safe, and out of trouble, until they find the person who is hunting her? Not willing to just sit around and wait for something bad to happen, she decides to get her brother's team to help out, but will they like what they find? When things go from bad to worse, Drew and her brother's team do everything they can before it's too late. Will Drew and Leah be able to get over their past, and see what's right in front of them? Will they get the HEA they both want and deserve? You'll have to read it to find out!

I would recommend this book, and great author. Check out the rest of the series too!
