3.5, not as good as the first volume (i glazed over the fight scenes a bit), but saved by Meryl doing complex emotions + the plant design (so extremely cool and beautiful).
thinking about the panel with his wings. the way Vash can square his empathy with the plant's necessity... how it's so clearly beneficial when the plant is taken care of and treated with reciprocal care and kindness .... ooogh that's some good shit right there. somebody do that to him now, please
Vash, Cheryl and Millie find their adventures riddled with danger as they attempt to save a hijacked sandstreamer and protect a small garden from vicious bandits - but even when the dust settles, the haunting presence of someone from Vash's past threatens to end his peaceful journey permanently. Nightow keeps the humour and action fast-paced with another entertaining entry, a fun time despite its shaky illustrations. Could there be anyone stronger than Vash on this planet...and what happens once they decide to make their big move?
I’m glad this series is getting just a little bit more of attention thanks to the remake of Trigun Stampede, it’s a huge like for me to be honest! I love Vash’s character a lot. Although the story goes pretty fast in the manga due to how short it is.
