Dr. Billionaire's Virgin

Rate this book
Life isn’t a fairytale, and filthy rich, ruggedly handsome doctors don’t kiss their patients.
And those kisses don’t cure 7-year comas.
But I guess if the doctor is sexy as hell and a billionaire, the rules don’t apply.
Dr. Kaden Prince is everything I could want, but I’m awake now. It’s time to stop dreaming.
Dreaming that he won’t just kiss me and cure my coma—that he’ll cure my terminal virginity too.

As Rose Dorner’s doctor, I’ve watched over her for years. Nothing I’ve tried has worked—she won’t wake up.

The hospital says we have to pull the plug on her, but there’s no f*cking way they’re doing that to my patient—my Rose. They’ll pull her plug only over my dead body. Or better yet, over my dead career, because I risk everything and perform an emergency surgery. Either she wakes up now, or it’s all over.

She doesn’t wake up. At least not until I kiss her. I figure it’s all over anyway, so why the hell not? Her eyelids flutter, and I see those big green eyes for the first time, looking up right at me.

So she’s awake—she’s cured. Everything should be good and in order, but there’s one big problem. I think I’m falling for my patient. But I broke all the rules before, so why not do it again?

**This is a full-length, standalone badboy romance. No cheating or cliffhangers, and a Happily Ever After is guaranteed!**

I have to say that for a very good brain surgeon, one whose surgeries have 90% chances of success, Kaden is really stupid.

It was obvious he was going to fall into a trap. Hell, even Dylan told him to stay clear. And yet Kaden still trusted those „doctors”.

I don’t have a major problem with the plot itself. After all, it’s a book. This is why we read books, to escape the reality, to „live a fairytale”. It was obvious this book was going to focus more on the „miracle” than on the illness itself.

The characters didn’t evolve. Rose was naive, which was normal since to her she was still a teenager. She was struggling to catch and learn whatever changed in the world while she was deeply sleeping. I had bigger expectations from Kaden. As I said, as a very good and important brain surgeon, I wanted him to be smart. He wasn’t smart. Not at all.

It started as a good and interesting story. Sadly, I lost interest near the end.

Good love story...

This review is about the secondary story in this book since I enjoyed it more than the first one. Stories wth flash backs are always intriguing to me. This one has enough to keep you reading. I think I felt a connection between the characters, but not as much as I'd had liked too. I'm used to reading series though and when there's more than 1 book, the author has plenty of time to build a stronger connection, in my opinion. These 2 are definitely drawn to one another & very much in love. Their obstacles are a lot more than the average & this made it a different kind of story for me. I really enjoyed the read.

Paging doctor hottie

This book was definitely different from a lot of other books. The story itself I thought was pretty unique and made me want to keep reading. I thought the characters were great and seemed to have a genuine connection. Kaden was super sweet and protective. I also liked the bond between brother and sister. The end was really good but seemed rushed. There was a little twist at the end about why the doctor did what he did. I still would have liked some consequence for what the doctors did and put them threw though. Overall the book was super good with a happy ending.

A Sleeping Beauty with a modern twist. Dr. Kaden Prince risks his career to save Rose Dorner. A nano-chip and a kiss later, Rose wakes up. She’s been asleep for seven years. Of course, the infatuation turns to passion and passion into love.

The two have an easy-going relationship, but it’s a bit too fictitious for my taste. I like a little bit of realism in the books I read, but this story had next to none. Kaden is reckless, but passionate about what he does. He’s about saving lives, not the bottom line. Rose is sweet and seemed like a normal girl. Their relationship was cute. Sweet. Fluffy. Love it.

I gave it three stars for it being too fairytale-ish. It’d be better if had some type of magic involved, that way the story could make sense somewhat. In other words, a fantasy element should have been included too. That’s just me. Good read and guaranteed HEA.

So, I enjoyed this story overall, but you really have to suspend your belief in reality. For the sake of entertainment you need to ignore logic and reason. A top level brain surgeon who has completed medical school, residency and possibly a fellowship and is only 26 or 27 years old? Sure, why not? It's all for enjoyment and what I like to call brain candy.

Interesting Plot

I liked the plot in this, although it could have been slowed down a little. The ending seemed to be a little rushed. Sex scenes were good. For me, there were a few loose ends that needed snipping.
An enjoyable read but not sure I'd read it again.

I get that making the hero wealthy for no good reason implies a little something about the story’s values, but it was pretty rude to shit on baristas at every available opportunity.

He could be my Dr.!!

Wow, Kaden really is a one of a kind doctor. I loved how he went to bat for Rose, especially as she couldn't advocate for herself in her condition! When Rose woke up, I didn't expect things to quite go the way they did. That twist though, wow!! I loved Melinda Minx's new book!!

I really enjoyed this book. The premise was interesting. I liked Kaden and his dedication (or should I say obsession) to Rose. The story is interesting (even though it is a little implausible, as a person that has been asleep for 7 years would not be able to walk around just hours after waking up - even if her body was manipulated during her sleep). The incorporation of the belief that the afflicted person can still hear and on some level comprehend people talking to them made for an even better story. The book has some additional twists that you never see coming and with the added evil touch of the hospital director, I found it difficult to put this book down. Grab a copy and sit back and enjoy (it is a story, it doesn't have to be 100% realistic to be enjoyable).

Loved this fairy tale like romance!!!
Kaden is a bad boy brain surgeon.
Rose is "sleeping beauty."
After 7 years Rose finally wakes up. The man who finally wakes her up is Kaden. She feels like she already knows him. Sensing he's the man she heard talking to her while asleep.
The chemistry between these two is instantaneous!!!
Their love story is that of a fairly tale. As all fairy tales there is always wicked "someone." Twists and turns throughout the book that you do not see coming.

I received an ARC and a m voluntarily leaving a review.
This is a modern day Sleeping Beauty with a few twists. Kaden is a sexy smartass (wealthy in his own right) doctor who is VERY dedicated to Rose who has a rare disease and has been asleep for 7 yrs. The story comes into this century by more than a kiss happening after Rose wakes up.

I loved Rose and Kaden's story. The way the author introduced the characters and the way the storyline progresses brought them alive. I felt I was there, within the story with them, living it! All I have to say is - hormones! they are powerful things!

Just like the fairytale version, there are villains in this story too. Twists and turns you do not see coming.

Also, at first I was unsure about her brother Dylan. Why wasn't he there more often? Why don't we hear more from/about him? But as the story progresses, it all made sense. It's a hard thing to live with - seeing your loved one like that and for so long. He loves his sister, you can tell he does. And by the end of the story, you want him to be happy (and know more about him) as well as a positive outcome for our hero and heroine.

Definitely a good read

What an interesting story! Kaden has been Rose's Doctor for several years while she slept never waking up. as brain surgeon, Kaden is determined to help her. Their story is romantic and their determination to find happiness was a must. The premise of the story kept me needing to see how it would work out.

Dr. Billionaire's Virgin is a great book. It was funny yet heart touching. It had the villains, the hero, the damsel in distress and all the characters in between. The story line moved fast enough and wasn't bogged down so I was able to keep turning page after page. I was almost upset that it ended. Anyone looking for a great book with a HEA will definitely enjoy this one.

I received a free copy of this book as a ARC and voluntarily chose to review it.
