Because I read purely for pleasure, and I don't consider myself a reviewer, I just tell it like it is...how I felt about it, strictly my opinion...

I really loved it! ;)

It was a pleasure to read, well developed plot that you felt you were a part of, believable, with characters you could easily fall for, and an absolute must for me, great sex! Well it did not disappoint... the sex scenes between these two...
holy shit, it was hot as fu*k...and then when Jason, Dane's brother was added to the mix, Wow...I was done for..."we all know my penchant for "MÉNAGE" and it was so well done, flowed right into the story...

I've already downloaded the next
book, I enjoyed it that much...
it's really HOT!
So, try it, I think you'll like it too... ;)

5 Pretty Girl Stars ⭐

It's not often that I re-read a book and love it the second time as much as I did. I want to state that His Lucky Penny is a hidden gem and is probably one of the best books I've read this year. This story is beautifully written, heart wrenching, somehow humorous and so erotic I found myself squirming. I truly loved it.

Lily Friesen is invisible, well she'd like to be. Hidden behind average clothing, minimal grooming, she goes out of her way not to draw attention to herself. The girl she once was is gone, now replaced with a shell of her former self. So why does he see her? On a night out with friends, Lily couldn't help but notice his gaze. And when he made it known that he wanted to speak and spend time with her, even she couldn't deny how good they were together. But it wasn't until Dane comes to her aid, her barriers would no longer hold.

I can’t meet his eyes, and suddenly I wish that I were a normal girl, that I had the guts to let him take me home and have his way with me. I mean, what’s the worst that could happen? That he’d leave as soon as he was done? Very funny, Lily Friesen. The list of things that are potentially worse is a mile long.

Dane has always been popular with the ladies. Not only is he gorgeous, he runs a successful business with his best friend Jason, and is evidently doing well for himself. Initially he's unsure of why he seems so drawn to this girl in the bar. It's not like she's flaunting herself. But one simple conversation has him enraptured. Convincing Lily to actually spend time with him is proving far more challenging.

“Listen to me, okay,” he says seriously, his eyes burning into mine.

“I don’t want to listen to any more crap about you not being good enough for me. If you want to be friends for now, that’s fine. I can do that.”

He starts to lean back and I let out the breath I was holding. “I’ll just have to hold off on putting my moves on you, that’s all.”


Both Dane and Lily have suffered loss in their past. They've become immune to their loneliness until they find each other. Unfortunately, them being together brings their wounds to the surface. Finding love and being loved is totally new, and both will need to be brave to embrace it. However Jason has always been a huge part of Dane's life and slowly he is beginning to mean the same to Lilly. Is this the the prelude for a relationship of three? I say, bring it on....

You know how at the start of most books, say the first 15% it's all learning about the characters and their stories? Like where they live, what they like and don't and just general info chucked into the story line to help the readers feel more connected to the characters and become familiar. Yeah well this whole book felt like that to me. I just seemed to be waiting for something:

I think the waiting thing was because I got the impression this was a manage. While there was a lot of 'talk' on the subject and the two main male characters have a past of sharing women, it wasn't until the last page yep not shitting you the very last page when the guys asked Lily to be theirs. As you can imagine I was like:

This is sounding like a really negative review I know but I actually really enjoyed it. Yes I was disappointed with it dragging and the lack of the third 'body' but I kept turning the pages. The characters were really easy to like and it had a good plot with some twists amid the drama. I gotta say though that the sex that was in this book was HOT!!!

Broke college student, Lily Friesen, couldn't believe her luck. Celebrating her friend's birthday in a bar wasn't exactly her definition of a good time. She is trying to make the most of it when she locks eyes with him. She feels an immediate attraction and it surprises her. She hasn't had the best experiences when it comes to men, but Lily quickly learns that Dane Wilson is different. There is more to this handsome man, and she wants to know everything - even if she has to push herself past her limits.

"Are you saying yes, Pretty Girl?"

Holy crap this book was entertainingly steamy! I knew what I was getting myself into as I was recommended this series after dabbling into similar smutty books. But it starts out so innocent and playful until it becomes intense and HOT! You can thank Dane Wilson for bringing the steam. ;) I really enjoyed his character. He and Lily had chemistry that was just off the charts. Meyer did a wonderful job of developing their relationship.

Slight spoiler but I am so looking forward to seeing how Jason will fit into their relationship! Yup, this series is heading into ménage and I am not complaining. As much as I love Dane, I have a feeling that Jason is the one for me. Fingers crossed!

This was so close to a 5 star read for me. I hope some of my issues will be resolved in the next few books. One thing I do know is that I seriously can't wait to continue on with this series!

Have you ever got that feeling when you KNOW you'll love a book, so you don't want to read it too fast and just want to savour it? I was maybe waiting for a low like this January (after several dnf's and bad reads) to finally give it a proper go. So when I saw my darling BB reading it, I decided to jump in.

I'll tell you something from the start: if you are not okay with a polyamorous story, then please turn away and never look back, because offended morals and sensibilities are not welcome with a read like this.

But if you want a realistically and just beautifully written beginning of a love story between more than two people, you are in for a treat! I cheered for all of them, for broken and hopeful Lily; for grumpy and quickly growing up Dane; for cheerful and deeper-than-he-looks Jason.

"I promise to keep you safe, if you promise not to rip my heart out.”
I can’t look at her, but the silence is killing me. Maybe keeping her safe isn’t what she wants.
“But what about my heart?” she whispers in a voice that tells me she thinks she’s pushing her luck.
I turn to look at her in relief. “Your heart is included in all this,” I say with a smile, making the squiggly line.

If you know me just a little, you probably noticed how much I adore the realness of the characters and how important it is for me that they make sense. Well, Meyer totally delivered!! She showed this beautiful beginning of a love story, where miscommunications were resolved in a healthy way; where characters grew and help each other grow; where shift into the polyamorous relationship wasn't just a silly trick for the sake of a plot. The author made it believable!!

And even though the romance felt a little rushed, the pacing of the story made it all good. Have I mentioned it was also kinky?
“But I think I should have some kind of veto when you get too bossy.”
“We’ll do one better. We’ll get you a safeword. That way when you use it, I’ll know that you’re serious.

- Dane, you clever sneaky devil, you!

I'm way into the second book, and I can already see the future me rereading this one.

This might sound crass but Dane went from being man whore to pussy whipped and I love it!
His Lucky Penny had me tugging on my heart and wiping my tears of joy because it’s so wholesome.
Lily is a joy to read! I loveed the dimensions in the character! Thank you Isabella for recommending and thank you Lana for buddy reading with me. Although I did binge guiltily.

5 'Pretty Girl' stars

This book was so lovely and adorable that I want to live in it. Seriously, I would move there right away, just so I could meet all these characters. Maybe if I throw a penny in a wishing well... Just let me find a penny. And a wishing well 😄

Lily is a fantastic heroine. She is surely my soulmate or my long lost twin. I can vividly imagine us being BFF. Only that I have a much better sense of fashion. I wouldn't be caught dead in Birkenstocks. *shudders* Do people really wear those for going outside? I mean, in public where someone can see you wearing them?!? Ok, sorry, enough joking. I really liked her character. She is so genuine and real, like a kind of person you can actually relate too. And me being a student with a half-time low paid job whose social life is not exactly exciting - I felt right at home. We totally normal people deserve books too, right? Anyway, reading this book made me very happy and mushy, hence the marshmallow shelf 🤭

And now comes the hotter part 😉 when I first saw the cover of this book, I thought it's a rom-com. Well, how the look can be deceiving. Yes, it's entertaining and funny but it's also hot, sensual, erotic, dirty and a little bit kinky. And the best thing - you get two hot guys for the price of one. OMG Dane and Jason, they are like Winchester brothers but without supernatural stuff. I really like their relationship, how loyal they are to each other, how they do everything together (emphasis on everything LOL). And so far, what I've seen of Jason's family they are awesome as well. Especially, Jenna, she's such a nice sister, sharing all the embarrassing little details from Dane and Jase's childhood hahaha
I had a very tough time deciding which of the two of them I like better and then I finally picked Jase. Dane is too bossy and moody for me. Jason is much more laid back and relaxed, but you know what they say, it's always the quiet ones. So, I can't wait to see more of him 😇

About the relationship between Lily and Dane. They are so cute together. And I love how awkward they are sometimes, this being the first real relationship for both of them. Also, I like that they are not rushing things. At least not too much. And despite Dane being pushy sometimes, he knows when to back off. And the growing attraction between Lily and Jason was masterfully done. The book ends with a bang and I'm freaking excited to continue! 🤩

4 lucky penny stars!

This book grabbed my attention right out of the gate, and I devoured it in less than a day!

Lily is our broken heroine with a traumatic past. I feel such anger for her. She was a strong character that was used to taking care of herself and only herself for such a long time, it was a pleasure watching her learn how to be cared for. Can I also say that I loved that she wanted to be an architect? (it would be what I would choose if I could do it all over again).

Dane has his own past of being abandoned that he has to deal with. He’s such a swoon-worthy character. I love a good alpha male that just wants to take care of a woman without crushing her identity.

I loved the ‘realness’ of their insecurities, not knowing how to be in an actual relationship and continually making mistakes that they have to fix. I also loved the sarcasm and wit with their conversations that felt so natural.

The teasing and sexual tension drove me crazy, in a good way ;) This book was filled with plenty of sexy, steamy, kinky, wonderfully sinful scenes.

This is my first novel by LL Meyer and most definitely will not be my last. Plus, I really want to see where this relationship between Lily and Dane takes us.

I recently read a quote that really resonated with me. Toni Morrison said, "If there's a book that you want to read, but it hasn't been written yet, then you must write it." And that's exactly what I did with His Lucky Penny . So giving myself a 5-star review isn't quite as vain or biased as it seems, right? LOL.

Okay, maybe vanity and bias play a part, but mostly this review is based on love. Love for Dane, Lily, and Jason who got so completely under my skin with their vulnerabilities and character flaws, needs and wants. The 18 months that I spent writing the four Penny Books saw these characters consume me in a way that I've never experienced before as a writer.

His Lucky Penny is all about the wonder of new love and everything that goes along with it; uncertainty, joy, fear, and of course, lust. When Dane and Lily meet, they're both caught off guard by their feelings.

Lily is wary:
The rumble of an engine pulling up to the curb draws my attention. I immediately bite down on my bottom lip to stop my jaw from falling open. He's sitting behind the wheel of some insanely hot sports car. The sunroof is open, so daylight is illuminating him in all his glory. If he was good-looking last night at the bar, in the daylight, he's drop-dead gorgeous. His dark hair is still a bit wet and is just long enough that if I wanted to, I could run my fingers through it and give it a tug. I can't see what color his eyes are from here, but who cares when his full lips are grinning at me in that devil-may-care way.

"Hey, Pretty Girl," he says, practically caressing the words as they float through the open passenger side window.

Oh my God. I am in way over my head.


Dane chooses to embrace it:
She's only standing two feet from me, but I'm itching to have her closer, to touch her. When her eyes shift back to me, I feel the familiar buzz under my skin, but there's this awkward newness between us that I'm not sure what to do with. Can I touch her whenever I want? Hold her hand, put my arms around her, kiss her? The questioning look on her face reminds me how inexperienced she is. Well, that makes two of us. But, hey, I've never been one to deny myself. My whole life I've gone after what I wanted. And every cell in my body is telling me that I want her.


At times they stumble and fall, but they both find the courage to keep moving forward, opening up and spilling their secrets to each other. And of course there's the lust:
Our eyes lock, and I shiver at the feral possessiveness in his expression. The low light from the silent TV casts shadows over his high cheekbones and parted lips. God, he's beautiful, I think before his head dips once more, this time to my stomach. His mouth circles my belly button and then moves on to my hipbones, which he bites gently, sending thrills through me. When he slides his mouth lower, my blood that's been rushing through my veins suddenly comes to a standstill.

"What are you doing?" I whisper.

He looks up my body at me, his eyes filled with unyielding authority. "This isn't negotiable."


And contrary to what you may believe, His Lucky Penny is not a menage (sorry, everyone ;) Even if hints of what's to come are left throughout, this one is purely Dane and Lily's story - a story that I hope you'll love as much as I do. Happy reading!

That book is the kind of little gem you'd like to keep just for yourself and at the same time, you want to shout everywhere how much you loved it!

I'm not going to sum of up as you have to let the story lead you at the place you have to go...
But seriously you have to trust me on this one and grab your copy, guys!!!

His Lucky Penny is a the first installment in the Penny series and you'll be so grateful to have the next 3 books already available once you are finished!

L.L Meyer is a very talented author who kept me totally enthralled by her storytelling. I was totally absorbed by her characters. OMG, I so wanted to be Lily!!!
I loved the say they felt real. And by real I mean that yes, they aren't perfect. No, scratch that, they ARE perfect in their imperfections. The author captured the beginning of a relationship with such a rightness and equilibrium! Did Dane and Lily make mistakes? Were they clumsy or sometimes awkward? Certainly, and that's why I loved them so much. Anyway, they corrupted me to the point that I'm not sure I could ever be mad at them for whatever they do! They are caring and protective and with the bigger heart....


If you, like ME, think or rather thought that being sweet was boring, please take a look at this book and we'll talk later! Sensuality, intensity and anticipation are brought to a whole new level with this two (three, there I said it) characters. But what was the best? The fact that they actually have fun. They as fun, and that feels really really good.

The scene that made me react the more is the spanking scene (* wiggling my bows*) because it , but her, "imperfect", remember?

My favorite scene isn't that one, though. It's a simple gesture that simply sums up their original story: when they old each other's hands.


"We are okay, Lil."
For my part, I'm more than ok, and I cant wait to start book #2, Pennies for Wishes, as soon as I can!!!

*I voluntarily received a copy of this book from the author in return for nothing but an honest review

This book is about Lily and Dane relationship but also about Lily and Dane’ adopted brother, Jason. While I do think that her attraction with Jason should have been emphasized a little bit more in the early stages, I did like how L L Meyer treated both relationships. They both grew a little differently and at different paces, but both felt genuine. More on this later.

Dane and Lilly (and also Jason and Lily) are very cute together and I loved how natural their conversations were. There is nothing better than sarcastic flirting! I’ve got to say that because of this, His Lucky Penny is a deceptively light-toned book - it totally wasn’t what I was expecting. Lily’s past was heart-breaking and I think the initial fast pace of the book really complimented the unveiling of her secrets. That being said, sometimes things happened too fast. I also kind of expected her to have a bit more PTSD in regards to sex (like I said, the things that happened in her past were heartbreaking) and maybe to have some flashbacks which would have explained some things in the beginning for me. I also thought it was strange how Dane and his brother reacted to hearing that she was studying to be an architect - personally, I don’t think these reactions were warranted. Along these lines (and maybe I’m being too much of a feminist here, so stop me here if I am), but there’s just something about a woman calling in sick or giving up work because of a guy that rubs me the wrong way. I know it’s a small point in the grand scheme of things but it really annoys me in real life, let alone in books.

That being said, I loved the light moments in this book - how Lily can turn a guy wearing flip-flops into something sexy and how Dane is literally turned on by the thought of protecting her (the last was hilarious). There are a few inconsistencies and some frustrating bits, like when Dane thinks of getting rid of her because she is annoying him (the morning after they have sex for the first time) or when he flirts with a sales girl (he does it to secretly buy Lily things but it’s still a bit off-putting) but on the whole I liked the book. However, I think when I learned more about Dane’s past, it really helped me understand him and get through his POV chapters. The book, as a whole, is definitely different to the types I read now, in terms of the almost light-hearted tone and the split POV (each chapter is narrated by either Lily or Dane). But that’s a good thing.

I think Lily’s and Dane’s sarcastic flirting, and the hidden depth to Lilly and Jason’s bourgeoning relationship, really made the book for me. As I mentioned earlier, the slow way that the relationship with Jason was brought in was fine, though I do think her attraction to him should have been emphasized a little bit more (before the pool scene). Although, as a negative, I really didn’t like how Dane let Jason see Lily naked and then spank her without telling her (her eyes were closed and she thought it was Dane) - it just seemed weird when you consider her past….. Aside from that, Jason was such an interesting character - lots of heart and at the same time such fun. I’m looking forward to seeing what happens next between the two of them in the sequel.

Another positive, and for me the best thing about the book, were the suspense elements. They were fantastic. I found myself getting teary eyed over what happened to Lily and in a later scene when she is attacked. And, as a female, I’ve got to say the scary bits were super scary. Which is kind of amazing in a book.

All in all, this is not the type of book that everyone responds to but I think that it is a hidden gem. While there are definitely some frustrating bits, I love Lily and Jason’s relationship and how it connects to her relationship with Dane. The suspense elements are creepy, but in the best way possible.

The author kinda stumbled onto my page and asked me if I would like to read her book. I am soooo glad I did. I read this in one day(yes even while I was at work). I feel in love with all three characters, poor lily has been through some rough times but with Dane by her side she was able to start feeling happy again. I can't wait to find out what happens with Lily, Dane and Jason not only in the love department but also with the on going trauma that is following Lily around. Great book and thanks again for letting me read it !!!

This book deserves one of those reviews with flashing gifs and clever images that will snag your attention and get you excited to read the book. Unfortunately I have zero technical skills and no plans in the immediate future to rectify that. So, you'll all have to suffer through my raving review with my meager offering of text sprinkled in with a few clever phrase. My apologies.

Simply put this book was awesome sauce. (Yes, I'm in the "over 30" category and still using the phrase. Judge not lest ye be judged!) Dane is everything you could possibly want in a book boyfriend. He's smart, confident, wealthy, and caring with a body that would make grown women weep for joy. Side note- I LOVE that Dane's success comes from a physically demanding profession. It's always slightly irked me when the lead male in a romance book is a suit-wearing business professional who works round the clock (and therefore one would assume no time for the gym) yet they have 6-pack abs. The fact that delicious Dane works on flipping houses justifies his fit physique in addition to giving you hours of steamy mental images to mull over.

Lily is a hard working college student who happens to juggle a 4.0 GPA while earning what meager salary she can as a cashier at the local grocery store. Her friends are mean and selfish (been there and trust me...it's no bueno) and her mom is utterly worthless in the grande scheme of things. Lily hides her rocking body behind sports bras and ugly, baggy clothes.

Lily meets Dane at a night club when she's dragged into celebrating her roommates birthday/engagement.

I don't want to give too much away but this book was a fun read with enough sizzle to qualify as a guilty pleasure that I in no way feel guilt for reading! Who doesn't want to escape the real world and immerse yourself with a hot-to-trot hero, his goofy (and also handsome) adoptive brother, mean girls who get put in their place with a Cinderella-type twist for a much deserving heroine???

This was a lot of fun. Not your typical naïve girl and rich guy. Yes, he's rich, but he earned it, and he didn't lord it over her, he just paid for things. And she's just inexperienced because her first experience wasn't good.

There was family baggage on both sides, but again it didn't drag down the story. It was a slow burn, but it got quite hawt.

I'll read the next, and likely the series.

I really enjoy a good ménage romance/erotica book, but for me this wasn’t the charming, sizzling read I was expecting after reading the blurb and the wonderful reviews. I’m happy others enjoyed what was written within the pages of this book, but for me it didn’t really work, and there were some off-putting scenes/conversations.

This is book one in a series that focuses on the main characters of this book: Lily, Dane, and Jason, although this book primarily focuses on Lily and Dane and the development of their relationship. As a couple Dane and Lily are ok, but didn't find myself invested in seeing how things would play out.

As I said earlier there are a few off-putting conversations in this book. Consider the following extract of the text message conversation Dane and Jason have, after Dane has professed his love to Lily and she sleeps beside him (about 51% into the book):

And then I’m spilling our entire sex life to my best friend. And I mean everything, from the amount of noise she made when I threatened her backside to riding her bareback to the way she tasted me.
Gonna have to spank the monkey now.

I laugh softly, looking down at my own bulge under the duvet.
Ur not the only one. What happened to strange hunting?
Boring.
It does get repetitive.
Maybe I need my own PG. Or r u gonna share yours?

The thought of Lily swallowing Jason’s cock now has me rock hard.
Give it time. Scared of her reaction.
Pussy. If she goes on pill, can I have her bareback too

Too bad I can’t text with one hand or I’d be jerking off right now.
That would mean no more strange.
Fuck. U saying yes?
Yes. Can’t describe how good it was.

For me this isn’t romantic and it doesn’t help lay the foundation for a believable attraction or romance to develop between Jason and Lily. Towards the end there does seem to be an attraction developing more realistically between Lily and Jason, but for me it still feels like he wants to have sex with her and that’s it.

Love Lily, cool character, she is very strong female, the kind I like.
Dane is good.

Hate it ends with a cliffhanger but there are other two books so no worries.

Want a book review in one word? How about ‘hot’? Or ‘addicting’? I could come up with quite a few more because I absolutely adored this book. His Lucky Penny is, at its heart, a college romance with a heaping helping of sexuality. But that’s far from everything. It’s about people with some serious issues. And it’s about overcoming them despite your fears and embracing something new.

I’ll be honest, when the book started I wanted to dislike Dane. He’s a man looking for one thing and one thing only: a good time, a sexy playmate, no strings attached, and preferably a woman willing to entertain not only him but his adopted brother Jason. See, these guys have a unique relationship and they love to share. But when Dane meets Lily it looks like all bets are off. As a reader, I’ll be the first to admit that Dane grew on me. As the story unfolded and I learned more about Dane’s history, and got to witness his absolute attraction, insecurity, and need when it came to Lily, I became a convert.

Lily, on the other hand, was someone I loved from the start. Shy, a bit of a recluse, she was a character I could absolutely relate to... In fact, she was me to an extent back in college. Sexually inexperienced, Lily is the polar opposite of the women usually found in Dane’s orbit. Adding to her insecurities in their blossoming relationship is the fact that Lily has some serious trauma in her past that she’s never even talked about, let alone dealt with. Spoiler free here folks, no worries, but Lily’s past and trauma is something that, unfortunately, many young women have to deal with and I feel the author did a fantastic job portraying it.

Told in first person by both Lily and Dane, each chapter switches between their two perspectives. It’s a technique that works exceptionally well for this story. The sexy times are H-O-T! Watching Lily grow and become more adventurous was a real treat. This is the first installment in a series, but the book ends on a high note while still leaving readers grasping (or is it gasping?) for more. If you like a little naughty in your romance, this is definitely one to read!

I went into this story blind. I had no idea what I was getting into. Holy Cow this book was not what I was expecting but just what I needed to read.

YOUR PANTIES WILL MELT RIGHT OFF OF YOU!!!!!

I loved that the story was told in first person and really liked that you got more than one person telling the story. I love when you are able to be inside their heads and really get to understand what they are feeling.

I felt the author did a great job on covering a very sensitive but very real issue. I don’t want to discuss it in detail as I don’t’ want to give away any of the plot. I loved that this was not your typical romance story and the plot was certainly unique.

This book had me hooked from page one and I could not put it down until I was finished with it. I am just happy the rest of the series is out and I don’t have to wait to see what happens next because this book will leave you with lots of questions that you will want answered.

Although I found Lily a little bit of a whiner at times I was able to connect with her. I loved both Jason and Dane. I still am not sure which one I liked the best. I know there were a few parts of this story that had my panties melting off of me. To be honest usually I end of skimming over the sex parts of books but that didn’t happen in this book. I devoured every page.

If you are looking for a hot and steamy read that also has a unique plot with some suspense than you definitely need to click this one. You are not going to regret it!!!

Don't you just love when you're not sure what book to read so you scroll through your TBR and decide hmm let’s give this one a shot?! So you read it and end up loving it and am so damn happy you ended up giving it a chance. So then you want more but you also get lucky in that department because there's 3 more books in the series just waiting for you read. Yep! That happened to me over the weekend and I've had a hell of a series hangover ever since.

Lily and her friends and I use the term friends loosely because well…you’ll see…go out for the night. She ends up meeting Dane and his brother Jason there. Dane ends up helping Lily out of a tight spot and their relationship grows from there.

Lily had something happen to her that makes her completely weary of men and what they want with her. She’s determined to put Dane in the friend zone but Dane is determined to have her as more. Now if you know me, you know I don’t like insta love so while this may be considered that for some reason it worked for me. I think it’s the way L.L. Meyer describes Lily and Dane. They are both broken for one reason or another and end up clinging to each other. However, it’s not all sunshine and daisies. Lily’s insecurities can get the better of her and Dane will question just what exactly he’s doing with her and then you have Jason. Yes Jason. I did mention him earlier didn’t I? He’s kind of just waiting in the wings to see what happens next, which is why you WILL need to read the second book in this series RIGHT AWAY!

I do want to say that if you’ve read any of the reviews on this book so far and heard it was your typical ménage/threesome/whatever then you’re going into the wrong story. This book definitely opens you up to the possibility of what’s to come in the rest of the series (all the books are out already so you don’t have to worry about waiting) but this particular story does not have that in it. But gahhhh if you can just read this book I promise you, you’ll be happy with what you do get. It’s a really good story line and some hot ass sex to boot. I've found myself more so lately skipping over sex scenes because I just want more out of the story but that did not happen with this book. I read every last detail. Oh yes I did!! If you can live with that well then I suggest you go to Amazon right now and one-click this bad boy. And while you’re there you might as well click books 2-4 as well.

i liked the restraint and patience the author exhibited in Dane and Lily's relationship. i liked the pace, balance and tension. I found the story credible, and will continue the series. I am fearing the twist that is coming.

I loved this story! Both characters were very relatable. It was even better because although it did have typical falling in love in a week, he gets annoyed with her. That's the first time I can remember reading that. I can say the only reason it's 4 stars instead of 5 is I was looking forward to the steamy 3some and..... nope.

I edited this review after finding that there were more in this series.

Now that I know I can confuse the journey with these three I'm all in! I'm recommending this book to my reading buddy!

I am in awe at how intriguing this book was! I have read books that had the ménage type relationships, but this is the first to attack the concept quite like this. And then on top of that it was done pretty well.

I don’t think it’s new adult romance but rather erotica for sure, so beware I guess lol

The characters were a great read. They weren’t the greatest characters I’ve ever read but I wasn’t bored at all with them, and I will continue the series happily. I am very excited to see the outcome of this story, and I do recommend!

Great book! I've read some similar stories lately, but this is the best one so far! I like that even though Lily has some self confidence issues, she isn't totally helpless or pathetic. And Dane was the knight in shining armor! I also like that he isn't always perfect either. It makes them both more relatable and fun to read. Add in some nice Jason and I was loving this book! I've actually already started book 2, I'll probably power through the whole series, it's so good!

Ouch, my heart. Will it go on?

How is this book not more well known. With such a heartbreaking past for the heroine. It's hard to not love her. And for the brothers...well might I say that's a tough choice!

Little spoilers!!

God a damn cliffy.... ou now I need to wait to get my hands on the others! I mean I love Jason and he's totally more my speed, but she's gotta end up with Dane right? He's so shattered and derailed on the inside. So much so that he doesn't let on in the slightest. I cannot wait to see where this story will go.
