When you go to Greece to meet your family but end up snogging your smokin' hot tour guide #sorrynotsorry

Jane is fed up of being the odd one out in her adoptive family. So in a very un-Jane-like move she books a last-minute ticket to find her birth father - and the real Jane. Armed with the knowledge that he was a tour guide called Dimitri, and multiple boxes of condoms from her mother (#cringe), she sets off.

It turns out that everyone in Greece is called Dimitri, including her very own sexy tour guide, who strikes her a deal. He'll help if she goes on an adventure with him. The old Jane would have never have risked a holiday romance, but the new Jane has other ideas. As the search for her father commences, she might just find something else entirely...

As Jane Smith's 25th birthday approaches, she suddenly has a compelling need to find her biological father. Though she's never questioned the love of her adopted parents, she's always been acutely aware of how different she looks from them and her adorable twin sisters. She knows her father's first name and is Greek (thanks to her bio mother), responsible for her height, eyes of separate colors and dark coloring. So, off she goes on a sudden trip to Greece to find him, picking the island of Santorini simply because it "called" to her.

After reading Almost a Bride, I vowed to listen to the rest of the series because I figured it would be outstanding on audio. My instincts were dead on as the humor was expertly translated. Jane is the most stoic of the group of friends so her decision to suddenly step outside her comfort zone was completely out of character. As imagined, her journey was loaded with missteps, misunderstandings and hilarious moments.

But Jane's most extraordinary encounter comes when she meets the gorgeous man she discovered in the island's travel magazine. His name is Dimitri (coincidentally the same as the father she's trying to find) and he's the man who will be her guide for her stay. I loved Dimitri and how he got Jane to find herself in the process. He was the perfect foil to the self deprecating Jane.

This was a cute story with lots of fun moments, even when Jane's pessimistic attitude could be wearying. Just when I thought it was getting to be too much, the story took an incredible turn and became one of substance and insight. That turn brought balance to Jane's search and in finding him, she found herself. You will absolutely love the ending and the wonderful trek through a Greek island that is so descriptively presented. This series nails the comedy and great travel.

I adored reading Finding You. I haven't had as much fun in quite some time. The story starts a little sad. Jane always knew that she was adopted.  Her birth mother did pass on a few breadcrumbs of information. The reason Jane isn't blond is that she is half Greek as her mother had an affair with a Greek tour guide name Dimitri.  Maybe Jane needs to find her biological father and get answers to her drowning confusion.  And just maybe it was time to tackle her Greekness head-on. Will there be a few holes in her plan?  Book a flight. Take a chance. And lose your heart when you least expect it. This the perfect book to take on your holiday, but try not to laugh out loud, people may stop and stare at you, and wonder what your laughing at.

1.5/5; 2 stars; D

I put this on my DNF shelf even though I actually skipped through much of it and did listen to the end. I wouldn't recommend this any of my romance reading buddies, mostly because the main character was really not likable, at all. The author didn't manage to make me feel sympathetic towards Jane, just baffled at her impetuous, behavior, foolish judgments, nasty self pitying hurtfulness. UGH.

The whole series is keeping me interested but Jane's story has to be my favourite so far. Jane has never really believed in herself or found her true self. She is adopted and feels the odd one out. That is quite far from the truth. She feels like a mirrorball.

Being unlike Jane she sets off to Greece to find herself and her biological father Dimitri. However she finds a guy of the same name who is much younger a tour guide and model. I have liked him most out of the guys so far. Yes he might have bended the truth a little but to me it was all for Jane, I would have forgiven him. I love how we also felt they had done everything the wrong way around after one night were Jane was not quite herself. Or was that the beginning of her finding herself in a rather strange way.

You are left to discover if Jane finds her birth father, true love and most importantly herself along the way.

It is also the first of the series in my eyes to include all the friend characters in detail while still making it Jane's story. I loved the WhatsApp messages about Jane goes to Greece.

I have liked the others in the series but I loved this one. I connected to Jane a little more than Lilly and Annie and that made an even greater read.

This was even more fun and cute than the previous books on the series, but could this woman stop having sex fantasies for a minute? I also liked how she slowly started to fall in love with Greece 🇬🇷

Finding You by Jo Watson is the third book in the Destination Love series. I have not read any of the previous novels in this series, but Finding You was so much fun that now I want to. Each of the novels in the Destination Love series can be read as total standalones. I don't even think there is any character overlap, which is nice because they are true standalones that way. Finding You is the story of Jane, who goes to Greece in search of her birth father.

Jane basically has a name and an occupation, and nothing else to go on. She even picks the part of Greece randomly and sets off. Which is crazy, in my opinion and totally unlike the character of the Jane I got to know. (Which she readily admits is true.) Jane was a hoot and a half. I loved her and all of her quirks! She is a successful dentist and she knows trivia about all sorts of topics, and she can't seem to help but spout her fun facts wherever she goes. I am with Dimitri, I think she is adorable.

And let's talk about Dimitri for a minute. I mean is he not the epitome of a vacation fantasy. I mean part of what makes Finding You so fun is that it is like finding a prince charming. Jane goes off to Greece and finds a tall dark and handsome Greek model/tour guide/all around great guy. How good can it get? Jane has all the luck in this story. But she makes the story charming and hilarious because she is a little bit of a hot mess. The comedy aspect of Finding You is what made me love this story so much. The Greek setting was perfect for the romance in Finding You but the characters are what won me over. Dimitri is such a great guy. I loved how attentive and awesome he was with Jane, and Jane is my girl. I just loved her.

Bottom line: If you are looking to be swept away in a beautiful Greek romance with tons of humorous encounters and scenes along the way, you need to check out Finding You by Jo Watson. I really enjoyed this novel.

"Finding You" by Jo Watson

My Thoughts....

This was a interesting romance told from the heroine's POV that will take the readers on quite a adventure as adopted Jane now twenty five sets out to find her biological-birth father [Dimitri] who was from Greece. Will Jane end up finding more that just that as it seems that she is way out of her element? When she gets to Greece she finds out how that the name Dimitri was a very common name and guess what happens... even Jane's tour guide who was also a model was named Dimitri. Now, how will this play out for Jane as the reader see her as she seem to be lacking in 'self worth and esteem.' Indeed what all was that about. Dimitri seems to be right there with her and seeing her as a real smart sexy lady. Will Jane who was unpredictable and funny be able to discover important things about herself other than just finding her father? It is well brought out as Jane begins to approach life and love so much more than just an analytical approach as she had always done in the past. Will Dimitri be able to help Jane some out of this old feeling and grasp a more fun way of life of letting go. We find Dimitri will have quite a story to tell that will greatly help this story go fourth as he helps Janes see Greece and find her father. It was quite interesting seeing Dimitri take Jane on a adventure where she is doing things she never thought she would have done. As the story continues the reader will see that Dimitri was 'kind, sexy and a family guy' and their is love for Jane, however there was something that would bring on hurt. Will this news of what is discovered make Jane run from her chance a HEA? I did enjoy what Dimitri did as he handled that secret that came out even getting some help. Now, just what was that all about? Oh, I don't want to mention the good friends that Jane had that really added their thoughts in this story. To find out what that is and so many other questions that needs to be answered you will have to pick up "Finding You" to see how this author brings it out to the reader. The author did such a well done job with this.

This was quite a interesting adventure with the setting being such a picturesque one as well as a fun, romantic comedy and with still a bit of mystery [that of looking for her father] gives this read quite a bonus of a read. Be ready for some 'hilarious sweet, downright swoon worthy moments' that will keep you reading to the very end. Would I recommend? YES! It was indeed a good read.

I loved this book! I am a total sucker for travel romance books for obvious reasons and this one was so enjoyable! It brings Greece to life and we all know I was mentally booking a plane ticket by page 40. Jane was a unique heroine. Lots of self-loathing and spaz moments but this is what made her feel so real to me. While she might not click with every reader, I definitely enjoyed her sometimes wacky antics and embarrassing moments. Full review to come but I'll definitely be checking out the other books in this series! Oh, and you really can't go wrong with a hot Greek hero.

If you read the other parts and thought they were cheesy with a little too much cringy awkward clumsiness mixed with a shallow naive girl - well this one is the definition of cringe, a very solid chunk of cheese. Spiced with a main character that simply experiences a row of "This is more *insert anything* than I ever experienced in my life!". Yeah, it really seems like she's an absolutely abandoned and mistreated little adoptive girl, not loved by her family, not supported whatsoever to inherit her adoptive father's dental practice, no supportive friends at all... ugh.

Well, at least Greece sounded nice - nicer than what I experienced a few years back on holiday. So that's something.

Of course, I'll probably still read the next parts about Stormy-Rain and Val. Just to complete this series. Ugh, I'm really excited about the looming cringes. I hope it won't be worse than this one.

Jane has always known she was adopted by the family that raised her and she has been searching for a missing part of herself all her life. She never fit in with the other kids at school who said some cruel things, and her mother's constant comments and attempts to "fix" her took a toll on her self-esteem. It took another hit when her birth mother refused to meet her after Jane turned 18 and tracked her down, so the walls she built up around her heart to keep everyone out just got even thicker.

Now she is 25 years old, facing a future she isn't sure she wants and feeling an uncharacteristic and overwhelming urge to go to the one place she may find some answers along with her birth father: Santorini. She always plans everything she does down to the very last detail and is a creature of habit, so her friends are skeptical to say the least when she tells them her plans but she takes off on her adventure before she loses her nerve.

And so begins what I will call the trials and tribulations of Jane. She is completely out of her element, and embarrassing situation after embarrassing situation pile up on her particularly when she meets her extremely hot tour guide Dmitri. Their first encounter sets the tone for everything to come and it is both awkward and humorous. She is horrified to find out just how common the name Dmitri is in Greece, and she just can't seem to stop making an idiot of herself in front of the hottest guy she has ever seen who also happens to be a model in addition to his tour guide gig. Everywhere she turns she sees another advertisement featuring him- walking out of the water holding a very suggestive spear, cuddled up to a woman sans clothing to advertise watches, in a suit on a cardboard cutout that she may just accidentally take with her back to her hotel... you name it, he is somehow always in the forefront of her mind.

Despite his godlike good looks, Dmitri is actually very down to earth and wants nothing more than to get to know Jane. He is amused by her attitude and the constant facts that she randomly throws at him in her nervousness, and he is persistent in trying to help her embrace the Greek culture as he gives her a personal guided tour of the island chain around them while helping her search for her father. Little by little he chips away at her preconceived notions and determination to hold herself apart from her surroundings until she finally starts to live a little without questioning every single decision.

I have to admit, it took me a long time to warm up to this book. I enjoy a good romantic comedy, but the level of awkwardness, constant silly situations and reminders of Dmitri's hotness started to wear on me after a while. Jane's group of friends were interesting though, and the last third of the book showed just how far Jane actually came in learning to let go and reevaluating everything she thought she knew about herself. All in all, Finding You was a cute contemporary romance that covered a range of emotions from one end of the spectrum to the other.

An ending that made the book

Finding You is a cute romantic comedy wherein a rigid heroine is repeatedly forced from her comfort zone during a spur of the moment trip to Greece in search of her birth father. My favorite aspect of this series of standalones is the different settings they take place in. Each heroine from a lively group of friends meets her Mr. Right while abroad, and while they’re falling in love the reader gets treated to descriptions of the beautiful surrounding location. As a person who loves to travel and explore new places, getting to do so through a book is fantastic. Although Miss Watson always includes vivid imageries, Finding You has that and more. The hero is a tour guide in the region, so it fits perfectly with the travel and exploration theme. This time the reader is treated to more than the resort experience in a beautiful locale. There’s tourist details, historical insights, and many glimpses of the Greek culture that made this a fun and interesting immersive read.

The book plays out much like a made for TV romantic comedy. And while I enjoyed the descriptions of Santorini, the romance and plot is fairly predictable. Coupled with an overly critical heroine who exhausted me with her pessimism at times, I struggled to fully connect. The humor is largely based around random events that unfold during Janes’ travel- sometimes cultural misunderstandings, lodging issues, and extreme but unlikely mishaps, all while Jane desperately clings to her attempts to control every aspect of her life and appearance. There were many moments that were silly and left me grinning, but it was heading to a good, not great rating when the ending took a turn I hadn’t expected. The events and the subsequent discoveries pulled on my emotions, developed the characters, and made for a lovely, heart-warming conclusion. Before those final handful of chapters, I would have said that though this wasn’t my personal cup of tea, I think plenty of readers will enjoy this title and series. However, after the ending, I would most definitely recommend this title to fans of light-hearted, comedy of errors plots that includes some soul-searching moments. In fact, I just pre-purchased a copy for my mom because I think she’ll absolutely love it.

The main character was an idiot, and the plot was dumb. She went to Greece to find her biological father, with nothing but a name- Dimitri- and not even a location or any contacts. But luckily, she has a great plan- to not do any tourist stuff in Greece because she has to focus on her non-existent plan. She's not only dumb but a whinger- her adopted sisters are skinny and blonde so that means as a dark haired curvy woman she is hideous. Because being Greek and having a big nose is horrible!
She is attracted to a hot man in a magazine ad, and then he picks her up at the airport, because why not, stupid plot? But he, a hot Greek man, could never be attracted to a woman who looks Greek! No way!
A few plot contrivances occur so that she can *actually holiday on her holiday*, but she sure as heck isn't going to find any self worth until she gets a man's approval.
I may have found the parts of the book about adoption interesting, except the plot was so ridiculously contrived that I just could not care what happened to this idiot.
Oh and it also shat me that it didn't refer to the economic situation or realities of living in Greece AT ALL.

Sometimes the first line of a book will reach out and pull you in with ease, Finding You had one of those first lines and I knew right then that I was in for a treat.

The author’s writing was just so comfortable and made it so easy to devour each page. Jane’s excitement was contagious, she made me feel like jumping up and booking my own plane ticket to Greece!

There were plenty of funny moments that had me giggling out loud, the WhatsApp group conversations were a favourite of mine and pretty much guaranteed to make me laugh. What a fabulous bunch of characters they were.

The craziness of Jane’s adventure was so much fun to read but there was more to it than just that. Underneath all the humour was the story of a girl who simply wanted to know who she was and where she came from. It was a journey of discovery that pulled at my heartstrings, particularly during some of the more emotional scenes, I just couldn’t stop the tears from falling.

Finding You was a bright and fun read with a layer of emotion that took me by surprise.

Finding You by Jo Watson is an adventure of a lifetime. I fell in love with this stunning tale. Engaging, heartfelt, and exciting. There were moments of sadness, angry, and betrayal as well. Jo Watson is indeed a talented writer. She baited, lured, and hooked me straight into her fictional world. Finding You is a title that perfectly suits this novel. The main charcater, Jane, goes on a quest to find her biological family and maybe end up finding more than just that. Romantic and hilarious. Families can drive us crazy but they're always there for us. Friends like Jane has is beautiful. I enjoyed reading this title. Overall, I highly recommend it to all.

Fantastic story of finding yourself, finding your true love and learning about your heritage all set to a magnificent back drop of Santorini in Greece.

Some of how Jane is feeling at the start of the book, the feelings of not really fitting in with her adoptive family, reminded me of how the main character in My Big Fat Greek Wedding felt initially. Not really sure of her looks, and doesn't feel quite connected with the rest of the family.

Completely out of character for Jane she out of the blue decides to hop on a plane and find her birth father. All she knows is he is from Greece, used to work a tour guide and his name is Dimitri. If you have ever been to Greece you will know that Dimitri is a reasonably common name, and tour guides are rather plentiful too, just to give some idea of the task ahead of her.

The first greek man she meets is a Dimitri and also a tour guide/model and a ridiculously hot greek guy and from here her hormones and womanly impulses are slightly out of control. I loved how whenever Jane was nervous she would either start churning out various scientific facts, or occasionally would start rambling lots of odd things that afterwards she would be embarrassed by, but in the meantime amused me greatly.

The descriptions of Santorini match the pictures I've seen of the place, and some of the slightly more touristy things that Jane and Dimitri do, have given me some ideas for my own day on the island later this summer, when I visit on a cruise. I loved meeting Dimitri's big family, and also how he was trying his hardest to make Jane embrace her long dormant inner Greek!

Watching Jane grow in the time she is in Santorini was really enjoyable to see, and I just thoroughly enjoyed every minute of this story. This is the second of the Destination Love books I have read and am really enjoying the series and Jo Watson's writing.

Thank you so much to Netgalley and Grand Central Publishing for this copy which I have reviewed honestly and voluntarily.

Just like the previous book in the series it is a witty rom com that will have you laughing out loud and so hoping that the main characters will be getting an epic happy ending.

Jane has always felt out of place at home always having know that she was adopted. After knowing that her mother wants nothing do do with her and that she is half Greek, Jane does nothing until feeling a little strange one day when she is in her twenties.

Upping her home and going to Santorini she meets Dimitri almost immediately and a connection is almost there from the beginning. Jane finds herself doing new things, trying new thing all because of Dimitri, who at the beginning has her all tongue tied.

Dimitri is a lovely man, but keeps one tiny secret from her that when revealed rocks Jane's trust and she flees back home.

I seriously could not stop from turing page after page of this book and was completely sad that there was no epilogue with the book and finding out what happened to them a year or so down the line.

I know that this is a three book series, but would so much like to read the stories of Val and Stormy-Rain and have their happy ever afters.

Loved it!

Jo said that this book was hard to write, well it was hard to read too. As someone that was fostered at 3 days old, I've had moments when I truly don't feel apart of my foster family. It's not anything they do, its just little moments I get where I feel left out, so I know exactly how Jane feels and thats what made this book hard to read. Apart from that, I absolutely loved the book. It was emotional and funny and I now have a serious craving for Greek food. I hope Vals story is next. I want to read more about the amazing characters from this book and the other two and watch Val fall in love(hopefully with a guy she meets at Lilly and Damiens wedding :D)

Jane Smith is determined to find her birth father, so she takes an impromptu trip to Greece, knowing only the smallest of information that her biological mother met him while she was on holiday and that he was a tour guide. However, when she begins to get close to the man that's offering to show her around Greece, it seems history may be repeating itself. Will Jane fall completely under Dimitri's spell, or will her heart be broken because of the news she discovers that could make her run from her chance at happy ever after?

Although this story can be read as a stand-alone, I wished I had of read the first two books before this one, just so I could learn more about Jane's friends, why they have such a wonderfully strong bond of friendship and how a couple of those friends managed to achieve their own happy ever after. However, in saying that, I totally enjoyed this story, despite the fact that it's only told from the heroine's point-of-view. The way this story started had me concerned for the heroine. Why was she acting the way she is? Is something wrong with her?

As for the dialogue, it was interesting and drew me into this story, because of the heroine's back story and all that she goes through within this book. Should she stay in Greece when it seems nothing is going her way? Will she give Dimitri a chance, especially when he keeps proving himself to be a good guy? Like he did when they first met and Jane completely embarrassed herself. Moreover, I liked how Dimitri won her over with his friendliness and his desire to show her all that Greece has to offer and which makes people never want to leave. He's kind, caring, persuasive and takes her on a wonderful adventure where she does things she never thought she'd do.

Truly, Jane and Dimitri bring out the best in each other and for the first time Jane realizes how much she's closed herself off to love and how much she's isolated herself from her own family in order to protect herself. Then again, being adopted and rejected by a mother that doesn't want anything to do with her makes it understandable why Jane is the way she is. Still, she's strong and brave by going on the adventure she does, even if it doesn't end with the outcome she hoped for. I also liked that she didn't give up hope, even when it seemed her chances of finding her biological father were hopeless.

Overall, Ms. Watson has penned a really good read in this book where the chemistry between this pair was strong and had me cheering that Jane and Dimitri would be able to overcome the moment where they part ways, because of Dimitri's secret and the fact that it makes Jane believe she can no longer trust him. The way this story ended was wonderful, as Dimitri isn't about to let anything stop him from winning Jane back and if he has to use any means necessary -- such as getting help from someone close to her -- than he will. I would recommend Finding You by Jo Watson, if you enjoy holiday romances or books by authors Rachel Van Dyken, Cindy Kirk, Marina Adair or Jennifer Probst.

ARC received for an honest review

Finding You is a fun, sweet, beautiful and at times sad romance that had me right in the story with the characters from cover to cover.

I think there is a little bit of Jane in all of us. She feels different from her family, she is filled with self doubt, she feels that she doesn't fit in.

When she takes off on a whim to Greece, she definitely finds more than she bargained for. Through all kinds of chaos and catastrophe, we are taken on an adventure of a life time along with Jane.

Dimitri -it is like that scene in My Big Fat Greek Wedding - meet Nick, Nick, cousin Nick and Nicky. Every man is a Dimitri. But this Dimitri is all kinds of swoonworthy.

Ms Watson has written with such vivid imagery that I could feel myself dipping my toe in the Aegean, walking the streets filled with whitewashed yet colourful homes. I may have had a craving for gyros whilst reading.

What I wasn't expecting in this book was how heartfelt and emotional it would be. I wasn't expecting the shimmering eyes and the ache in my heart.

I really enjoyed this jaunt to Santorini

Review can be read at It's About The Book

Jo Watson’s books always end up surprising and delighting me. Finding You was a delicious, heartfelt story of finding yourself that really tugged at my heartstrings.

“Plain” Jane Smith always felt like she was a round peg in a square hole. Adopted by a family of blonde-haired, blue-eyed, gorgeous people, her dark hair, different colored eyes, and sturdy build made her feel like she didn’t fit in. Unfortunately, her feelings became a self-fulfilling prophecy. She didn’t fit in with her family.

At sixteen, she reached out to her birth mother who rejected her again, giving her the briefest bit of information but refusing to meet with her. All she really found out was that her father was Greek and his name was Dimitri. Since she’d always hated her swarthy looks and size, it gave her a new word and an entire culture to use to denigrate herself even more.

The looming advent of her twenty fifth birthday changed everything. Our as she called it, bright on her nervous breakdown! She woke up one day feeling very unsettled. She didn’t realize what was happening until she passed a travel agency advertising trips to Greece and felt an almost insane desire to find her father. Would this tour guide named Dimitri help her finally find peace with herself? She just wanted to belong.

The exotic locale was juxtaposed next to Jane’s internal search to belong. Can she accept the love she finds from her very own Dimitri, or will her fear of following in her birth mother’s footsteps cause her to lose her chance at a forever love?

Great read, I can’t wait for the next in the series!

It’s not unusual for me to mention a current read to my friends and on occasion say, yeah, you’d like this one. Rarely though do I tell pretty much everyone I know “You’ve got to read this one.” Jo Watson’s FINDING YOU is one of those books I’ve just had to tell everyone about and recommend. FINDING YOU pretty much has something for everyone. There are parts that I not only laughed out loud, but laughed hard enough that I got tears in my eyes. Watson has a wonderful sit that comes through in her characters.

There are parts where you ache for Jane and when the truth of Dimitri’s actions come out, you want to shake her and tell her to give him another chance because you feel his pain. Her story is moving from start to finish.

I read the first book in this series, BURNING MOON, and wasn’t impressed. I felt that the characters did nothing but complain and ruminate about how unfair life was. I didn’t see any of the humor I saw in FINDING YOU, nor the wonderful connections between the characters. I took a pass on reading book 2, ALMOST A BRIDE and reluctantly started FINDING YOU. I am so glad I picked FINDING YOU up. It is one of those books that you start and you just can’t put it down until the end.

Yes to everything about this book! A far away and intoxicating land, sexy tour guide, delicious food! Oh, the possibilities are endless! When Jane wakes up and something feels off. She just can't pinpoint it until she's standing in front of a travel agency and knows she needs to fly to Greece and discover her roots.

I loved Jane instantly, yes, instantly. Somehow I empathized with her feelings of not fitting in, and her going to Greece I couldn't contain my excitement! Dimitri is obviously amazing from the beginning and I enjoyed how he would constantly try to get her to eat Greek food. He was hell bent on making her fall in love with life by showing Jane everything she was missing out on. I could almost feel myself sitting by the water with the warm sun shining down on me, and it made me want to run away to Greece and never look back.

There are so many hilarious moments, sweet moments, and downright swoon worthy moments that I just couldn't stop reading. This is the perfect story to read when you want to get away from the reality of your hectic life or when you just want a feel-good romance!

Finding You is book three in the Destination Love series. It can be read as a standalone. I didn't realized that it was part of a series until after I finished reading it.

Jane Smith was adopted and unlike the rest of her family. She wakes up one day and feels off. She ends up booking a trip to Greece to find her birth father. That right there hooked me to the story. Jane is a great character. She's a little unpredictable and funny. My heart went out to Jane is her journey to find her place in the world. All she know about her dad is that he was a tour guide in Greece named Dimitri. Well Dimitri is a common name in Greece. Jane meets a Dimitri that's a tour guide right away. This Dimitri is not her dad, instead he a super sexy guy near her age. Dimitri is a good guy. He's definitely swoon-worthy. This is one story that swept me away and I really enjoyed reading it.

I really loved this! It took a little for me to warm up to Jane, mostly because she seemed so very serious and formal. But she definitely grew on me, especially once she met Dimitri.

And oh, Dimitri. He was sexy and funny and sweet. I really enjoyed his character and what he was able to do for Jane.

They had some wonderful chemistry and I really liked the way their relationship built. It had a bit of fantasy and yet was very genuine and sincere.

The setting of Greece was fantastic and so well-described that I could smell the ocean and feel the sea. I also really need to grab some Greek food!

Jane's journey and arc was such a pleasure and surprised me with just how invested I found myself. There were several emotional moments in the last 20% that had me tearing up with a smile.

Not your average, sappy, love story. This book had me laughing out loud at work at times and almost to tears at other times. Loved the way Dimitri built Jane back up into the fearless, fierce, Greek woman she was born to be. The underlying story line of finding your birth parents also make this book heartwarming as well as entertaining.
