Alien Warlords' Baby
Harbor and Cole have nothing but begrudging respect for one another. Yet when they discover they share a fated, and then a child, they're going to have to learn to get along. It's easier said than done. With a vicious enemy out to destroy Riley and Octava along with it, the two savage warriors need to learn to cope with one another, while protecting their surprise baby and a mate who doesn't seem at all willing to divulge her past.
Alien Warlords' Heir
Chase and Havoc are two men at odds. The alien warlords are the protectors of their realm and all that stands between Octava and certain annihilation, but sometimes, it feels like they're a bigger threat to each other than any enemy could be. When fate ties them to the same woman, one who's stubbornly ready to protect herself, all their conflicts have to come to an end. One way or another.
Alien Warlords' Child
Leon and Cage are men the darkest recesses of Octava fear the most. As the safekeepers and guardians of Octava, the Praetorians are feared and respected... but mostly feared. Though they understand one another completely, they rarely see eye to eye. Except when it comes to a certain curvy, spirited Terran. Finding out they're fathers to a little girl is about to change their world, but this world might not be around for much longer unless they can band together and overcome their differences.
Vi's a small-town girl with big city dreams. Born and raised in Texas, she's always had her eyes to the stars. Telling stories is her passion and when she can mix a whole lot of steam with equal parts sexy alien hunks, well, things just get that much better, right?
An ardent Rangers fan, she believes all men should come in a yummy beefcake package and that's exactly the kind of heroes she prefers. A curvy woman herself, Vi likes to write heroines as sassy as she is.
She likes indulging in a little wine and a little chocolate, but her first love int life is writing and everything else follows second.
I really liked this book, both for the storyline and the characters. The story involves a woman who comes to a new world to start a new life. Her first night on this new world, she meets her "fateds, makes passionate love with the two and loses them on that same night. And, of course, ends up pregnant. As the story progresses, she finds them again and then the storyline gets very complicated. The fated characters are very well written and are believable. Laura, our heroine, is at times, a little bit of a difficult character. This adds to the overall twists and turns of the story. So, try it and see if you are as entranced as I was.
Alien Warlords' Baby Riley is a well known writer and a war journalist who works for Objectively Terra she us sent to Octava to write about the Gargon fated mate bonds. Her first day on the planet she meets Harbor and Cole, two commanders in the Gargon forces and finds out she has not one but two fated mates. All looks like it would be perfect until the ship she is on is attacked and she loses time but is given a surprise. This was an amazing read. The characters are wonderful and have depth to them this is not your normal boy meets girl and then there is a happy ending. There is drama, spice, loss and reward oh and then the happy ending lol its a romance after all. If your a SYFY fan don't miss this one.
Alien Warlords' Heir Dana is an ambassador on the Sanguine a ship that brings women to Octava for a chance to find a mate. While she sees some women find thier happy ever after she see a lot more that don't. Havoc and Chase are rival warlords but both are loved and known by thier people as octava's protectors. Both men are completely different in appearance and in thier lives. Havoc has suffered great loss and chase just wants him to start living again. When the face each other in the ring for sport at the celabrition of the new ship full of women comming in they never thought they would find thier fated and she would be the same women. Danger is on the way and war is about to start can they win her? Great storyline. Lots of depth to it and drama. The twist and turns were fun and pulled me in fast. And the characters are fantastic. SyFy fans this one is for you.
Alien Warlords' Child Leon and cage are two of octava's wardens (elite peace keepers thier judges and executioners) laura came to Octava to take care of kids that had been orphaned. They meet in a part and after a hot few hours went thier separate ways. They had told her thier first names but never asked her for her name. Saddened she went about her life until a few weeks later when she got a news she had a surprise on the way and thier was no way to tell them. 3 years later they meet again. Lots of drama in this one , hurt, trust issues and danger lots of danger! See the wardens have their own enemies and they will stop at nothing to hurt them . Lots of action and interesting characters in this one It's a roll-a-coaster ride of emotions. Syfy fans don't miss out of the fun.
This is a great set of sci-fi romances. I read them when they were released originally.
I love menage romances and sci-fi romance so this was a great match for me. You have plenty of romance, action and adventure as the women find out they have fated mates. The men are warriors and have some difficulty both sharing and adjusting to life with a human who has different ideas about their society and the violence that surrounds their lives.
Alien Warlords' Baby
Riley is a journalist who wants to be part of the action not reporting on romance. When she is sent to report on the bonds forming between Terran women and Gorgan men, she gets more action than she expected. She gets up close and personal with the story when she meets her two mates, Cole and Harbor.
I like the sci-fi romance genre. The men are usually really alpha and protective of their mates, especially in this author's books. With this menage, you get two men which is even better. This story goes in an interesting direction and I won't ruin the surprise.
I really liked the characters and that the chapters alternate with each of the three main characters getting an opportunity to narrate and share their story. Cole and Harbor are very competitive in nature so this is not an easy adjustment but they know the bonds form for the right reasons. There is some good action in the story too. I really liked how introspective the story was and that you really felt connected to the characters.
Alien Warlords' Heir
I really enjoyed this sci-fi romance. It had some twists I did not see coming. Dana was the only Terran female visiting the planet who didn't want a mate and found two. The two men have very different personalities but respect each others abilities as warlords. They fight hard and it is a huge part of their life. Havoc has personal history that complicates their relationship and Dana is definitely wary after her first marriage. They struggle but definitely have a strong connection and great chemistry. I like her son too. He is a strong little guy who wants to protect his mom like her mates.
Alien Warlords' Child
Laura is trying to make a difference. She wants to protect the children in a society where their age does't prevent strong discipline for any criminal activities. Leon and Cage are two of the men that are feared for the punishments they implement. When they meet, they have no idea that the attraction and their one night will change their lives. She becomes pregnant and vows to keep her child safe but has no way to find the fathers.
There is quite a conflict when they meet again. Passions remain high. Leon and Cage are determined to keep their mate and child safe but she wants to have a home and not a fortress. The men have shared some painful memories and are really having to make a big adjustment to family life. I really loved when they did get the chance to be just fathers. There is a lot of danger and action in the story too.
ARC - I voluntarily offered to review this book with no obligations and my opinions are honest! I have each book by itself. Loved all the books in the series. This is an awesome collection. If you read the books about the Brions, they will will also love this guys. Totally recommend this collection!
Alien Warlords' Baby Riley is a serious journalist, the last thing she wants to write is a book about the Gargon fated mates. Riley arrives on Octava and meets Cole and Harbor, two of the best warriors of the Gargon race. She feels an irresistible pull, more than just attraction towards the warriors. Harbor and Cole knew the moment they met Riley that she is their fated mate, and tell her on the day they meet for the first time. The Gargons have been battling the Eridon for years, Riley and her mates will have to fight to save their worlds from Magorra, the leader of the Eridon. This book is exciting, sexy and has violence, along with fantastic well written characters, and fascinating twists in the plot. A must read, I loved the book.
Alien Warlords' Heir Dana has been escorting Terran woman to the Gargon home world for years, watching as a few of these women find their mates, and yet more of them return to Terra disappointed. She has decided that this will be her final trip, that she and her son will find someplace safe to call home. She is attending a match when the fighters stop and turn in her direction, at first she thinks they are looking at the woman next to her, she soon finds out that she is their fated mate. Havoc and Chase are two of the best warriors that the Gargon has, and are thrilled to find their fated, but Dana has a child by an abusive man and she is afraid to give her all to the warriors who love her. This book is sizzling hot, sexy, with exciciting battles and a happily ever after. I loved this book!
Alien Warlords' Child Laura met two sexy Wardens the first week she was on Octava. She had incredible sex with Ron and Cage and she hasn't seen them since that night. Years later Laura is rescuing three of the children she cares for from the clutches of the Wardens, and finds the two men who fathered her child are the most feared Wardens on the planet. Laura introduces her daughter to her father's and her life is turned up side down. When a psychopath that her mates have been hunting for years puts their daughter in danger, Leon and Cage will do anything necessary to protect Laura and their child. Wow, fascinating characters and a twisting plot, this is a sizzling hot and exciting read. I loved this book!
This is a great KU library read and an excellent way to read the Warlords of Octava series. The review below is from my reviews as I read the individual books. 1. This is an outstanding standalone series opener. The book begins with Riley North in her element on the battlefield as a Terran war journalist. When her boss orders her to Octava to report on the recent bonding phenomenon between Terrans and Gargons, she is outraged to be forced to leave what she believes is a more urgent and important issue. But when she arrives in Octava, she realizes she has fallen victim to the myth of the fated, because the two warlords who have come to the orientation for the Terrans on her space shuttle apparently are her fated mates. Both of them. And a day that starts out as one of the best ever, takes a sudden turn when her mate's space ship over Octava comes under attack with her on board. 2. I enjoyed this addition to the Warlords of Octava series every bit as much as the first release. As in book one, the Terran female who ventures to Octava doesn't expect to find her fated mate, much less two of them. But there the storylines diverge. Dana Hallsey is the ambassador of a spaceship bringing Terran women to Octava to take a chance on finding a fated mate. But Dana, a single mother, has given up on love, is tired of the pain of escorting the women who were not chosen by fate to find a mate back to Terra and has made plans to leave her job. So when she sees the two warlords step into the arena for a challenge fight, she doesn't know what to think. They are the best of the Warlords, apex predators, and they are staring right at her. Chase has been after Havoc for quite some time to participate in the Celebration, in hopes of his finding a mate among the new Terran arrivals. But Havoc is still mourning the loss of his Terran mate, Hannah, who died two years earlier. Havoc finally agrees to go, but only to the challenge arena where he will finally take on Chase, his frenemy and possible equal. He never expects that fate will give him a second chance at a mate or that he will have to share. Especially with the League charging at their borders again, taking them back into battle, a place where a mate can't go. 3. This third standalone addition to the Octava series brings together a Terran social worker and two Gargon Praetorian Wardens, peacekeepers who are also judge, jury and executioner. They meet the first week Laura Parker is on planet, impregnate her, then disappear from her life for three years without explanation. They meet again when three of her charges from the foster home get into serious trouble. As with the two previous books, the ending is a powder keg with a very long fuse.
I've read 85 to 80% of all your books and loved them all but these three,...... Shame on your proof readers. Lol great story lines, each book could start its own trilogy.
