Travis Briggs is the Briggs sibling considered least likely to settle down. At least until Mia James walks into his brother's wedding reception. She's in town to work on her reality show and her ex and his new pregnant girlfriend will be arriving to "help" her. Travis overhears Mia on her phone with her sister saying she needs a fake boyfriend for the week they're in town. Travis volunteers his services in exchange for some massages to help him with a rotator cuff injury. As they progress through their "fake" relationship, they both start developing real feelings for each other. I loved this story and look forward to reading more about them in Colton's book.

I can always count on these girls to bring me lots of laughter and an awesome read, and Taming Travis didn't disappoint!!

Travis is a fun, sexy hero, who takes the uneasiness out of situations with joking about it, and brings a calm to Mia's nerves. Mia seemed a bit on the shy side at first, but she's definitely not. Her douchebag ex tried to do a number on her, but she overcame it. This story will draw you in, with a deal these two made, and will keep you drawn in with their banter, antics, and falling in love with them. This is definitely a must read!!!

After a review of a Melanie Shawn book I was asked if I always get so emotionally charged as I review a book - my simple answer was "you obviously haven't read the author's books, or you would understand, they get the feels, girl!" And Travis and Mia definitely got all the feelings roaming and I am not even going to try to hold myself and my emotions in check here as I lay down the adoration I have for them.

I love the fake relationship turning into a blistering hot romance type stories, and here you add the instant ardor Travis has for Mia. With the very first look at her, his life changes and he is willing to do anything to get to be near her, for to be part of her life, to have a future together. And it is so sweet and adorable. I swear I highlighted half the things Travis thought about Mia because it was so perfect.

"Being with Mia felt like my soul found its home"

"You're more than my better half, you're my whole. You're my everything"

Travis is one of those good guys, like Mia said, nearly too perfect to be true. He is honest, kind, considerate, romantic, generous, sweet, and hot, and yes, he has played the field but never to break hearts. He was so charming, he had me from the very first moment and I just swooned after him ever since.
Mia is the perfect life partner for Travis. She is a capable and independent woman, likes to take charge at work situations yet willing and able to make compromises in a relationship. She doesn't have much experience with men, her ex didn't treat her well, but she soon learns that she can trust Travis and his words and actions.

I loved how the story has the focus on the developing relationship, with the small town as a backdrop, instead of the reality show. Also, the way Mia's ex is played in the plot was just a perfect amount of drama and conflict without going overboard or to be too distracting.

The story is told in the first person point of view, and that took me by surprise. But since both Travis and Mia gets their chance to tell their view of the events, giving a well-rounded picture to the reader, it worked in this story.

Taming Travis is pure entertainment, it is fun and filled with good vibes and positive feelings. It had me smiling, laughing, swooning and sighing. The characters are charming, the banter and sibling rivalry a joy. The romance is instant yet has a strong hold of their hearts. The passion is off-the-charts hot yet has tenderness and sweetness you want to savor. I adore the Briggs family, the love, and care between the family members are palpable, and I can't wait to learn more about them in the future installments!

This series just keeps getting better and better! The Briggs children each seem to fall head over heels on sight. When the last part of TNT does it, it is like a miracle. Travis is such a fun character and this book gives such an insight into his true self. It was also nice to get the words of wisdom from the Briggs patriarch. It was also great to see a female lead come into her own self-realization.

Travis Briggs was celebrating his brother's wedding when he saw a vision walk in. His mother asked him to get some more glasses from the back, so he headed to the back room to get the glasses. The vision's name was Mia James and she was in town running a reality show where women were going to try to win Colton McCord's love. Mia got a call from her sister so she went into a back room to FaceTime with her. She had no idea Travis was back there too and heard everything that was said between the two sisters. Mia's ex was coming to town with his pregnant fiancé and Mia didn't want to face them alone. Her sister told her to get a fake boyfriend and promise him a couple of massages and dinner. Travis heard this and when they hung up, Travis volunteered to be her fake boyfriend. You will need to read the book to see what happens.

This is another great book in the Wishing Well series. Travis has been with quite a few women, bit none that he felt anything for. He knew when he saw Mia that she was different. Travis was not only handsome, smart, and built, but he had a great sense of humor. Mia needed someone like Travis and she loved how Travis could always make her laugh. It was funny to learn more about her ex and his fiancé. I know she missed a bullet with him and her ex and his new woman were made for each other. I loved Mia's sister and how she knew just what to say to Mia and called her out when she wasn't always truthful in her feelings. Travis and Mia Mad such a great couple. Travis' family is a great family and I loved hearing their two cents all the time. I loved the book and strongly encourage you to read the book. I voluntarily read an Advanced Reader's Copy of this book.

Travis Briggs is attending his brother's wedding when one of the most beautiful women he's ever seen enters the reception. When he goes on a search for some glasses that his mother has requested, Travis comes across the blonde beauty where he happens to overhear a phone conversation she's having with her sister and he senses right away that she's in need of a save thanks to the suggestion of her sister - one that he'd be more than happy to help her out with.

Mia James has come to Wishing Well to work on an upcoming television series that will be filming in town. She's excited as the show was her idea and this will be the first time she's at the helm. The bad news is, her ex-boyfriend, is also involved with the show and the last thing she wants is to be around him and the woman he left her for. Can Mia really do what her sister has suggested and find a fake boyfriend to show her ex that she's moved on? Especially when the man that has stepped up is the uber hot, Travis who has overheard the whole conversation?

I loved how the story of Mia and Travis unfolded. Travis is not only good looking, but he's smart, loyal and he has a great sense of humor. He was always able to keep Mia laughing, which was something she needed and appreciated about him. Mia was a strong woman, and she knew she was better off without her ex, but it was fun to see how she reacted as her feelings for Travis continued to grow. There was chemistry between the two from the outset and I love how Travis' family fit in as well.

Kudos to Melanie Shawn for another fantastic addition to this growing series. I always enjoy revisiting this quaint Texas town!

"Taming Travis" is written by Melanie Shawn, and it the 4th book in the Wishing Well, Texas series. It can be read as a stand-alone book. It features Travis Briggs and Mia James.

All the ladies in Wishing Well, TX want Travis. But no one has been able to catch his eye. Until Mia. This is really a story of love at first because right when Travis laid eyes on Mia, he knew she was the one.

Mia is freaking out. She's in town to head her first reality show without the help of her ex-fiancé, Tad, but he finds out about the project and wants to get involved. Tad is now dating a model, who's pregnant with his child. Mia's sister, Libby, makes a suggestion. Get a fake boyfriend!

Good thing Travis's mom wanted him to get some glasses for the wedding. He just happened to overhear Mia's conversation with her sister. She needs a fake boyfriend? Well, he's happy to oblige! It's the perfect way for him to introduce himself to Mia and for them to get to know each other!

But what happens when their fake relationship starts to feel real? Will Mia stay in town after her reality show finishes filming, or will she leave for LA?

This story was so fun to read, and Travis will make you swoon! He's such a romantic! Mia and Travis totally complimented each other and were the perfect couple! Looking forward to reading Colton's story next! Melanie and Shawna wrote another winner!

The sister writer/author duo of Melanie and Shawna need no introduction. Pros at creating charming love stories that stoke the hearts of the readers; their latest release is no disappointment for sure.

Wishing Well, Texas is deserving of its name, as couples seem to be finding their wishes coming true, and finding their HEAs. And Wishing Well’s wild playboy Travis Briggs is no exception. He’s more than happy to be Mia James fake boyfriend and have that become a reality forever.

Mia James seems to have finally found her calling in directing her first reality show, a far cry from her law career. But with her ex stepping in with his pregnant lady, Mia needs to find a hot guy as her fake boyfriend and Travis fits the frame to a T!

With a no strings attached relationship, both Mia and Travis are in for the ride of their lifetime. Seamless as ever, you can never tell where Melanie ends and Shawna starts her story. These sisters have mastered the art of co-writing to a level that is beyond description.

As always, another love story from Melanie Shawn “Taming Travis” is a sweet ride of a love story, heartfelt, content and just pure gratification!

Travis Biggs from Taming Travis by Melanie Shawn, the fourth book in their Wishing Well Texas series, has become my new book boyfriend. Mia James is in Wishing Well to begin production for the reality show Courting Colton. She takes Travis up on his offer to act as her fake boyfriend for a short while. Travis fell for her at first sight. He is such a romantic, caring boyfriend. While Mia might lack confidence and experience, she gives Travis a run for his money.

I genuinely enjoyed reading Taming Travis and was pleased with the way Melanie Shawn found a way for Travis and Mia to find their true love and happy ever after. I enjoyed the way the authors wrote scenes to show the true gentleman Travis truly is. They also stressed the importance of family showing the closeness between Mia and her sister as well as Travis and his siblings. Although this book is part of a series, it is also be read as a stand-alone. I highly recommend this book and am looking forward to reading the next story in the Wishing Well series, which I hope is Courting Colton.

Short, lightweight tale about Travis Briggs the brother who is least likely to marry. There is a betting pool on which brother will be next as there are a gang of brothers, one sister and a few of them have found their matches in the previous books.
Travis sees Mia at his brother's wedding reception and falls hard and fast. She meanwhile is only in town to film a tv reality show. Her ex is her boss and to bolster her insecurities she needs a fake boyfriend. Travis overhears her and jumps at the "job". He hopes to turn fake to real.
There is low drama, very cute side characters and Travis is well, too good to be true. He is sweet, thoughtful and funny and very serious about a real relationship - he just has to convince her.

Taming Travis is book 4 in the Wishing Well Series by the dynamic duo Melanie Shawn. It's always nice going back to the little town and seeing familiar faces. In this story we get story of the other half on TNT. Travis is the last person everyone thought would settle down. He was the perpetual bachelor. Little did he know that he would be stunned by Mia. She was in the little town to start a reality series. When her ex decides to also visit the town the pretending between Travis and Mia start. But As the reader we see the instant connection they felt. Will that connection and feeling help them evolve into something more? Can't wait to see what else this duo has up their sleeve.

I love going back and visiting Wishing Well! There's just something about that town and the people that make me feel like I never left! If you love insta-love reads, then this one is for you. Because Travis fell.....hook line and sinker the second he laid eyes on Mia. And it was swoon-worthy, let me tell ya! Mia needed a bit more convincing, but the girl had her reasons! This story was full of romance, fun, friendship, sexiness and love. I can't wait to get more and more from these people in this incredible town that Melanie Shawn has created! Great read!!

Happy reading!

I loved everything abut this latest edition in the Wishing Well Texas series. Travis, the southern gentleman farmer, and Mia the used to being in control city girl, are so perfectly sweet together and at the same time scorching hot! Their not so fake relationship will keep you turning pages to the very end. Buy it, read it, you'll love it just like I did.

Loved this extremely fun, sweetly entertaining, small town guy falls head over boots in love at first site with a city girl on the rise romance.

I loved Travis Briggs from the beginning of this amazing series. He is sweet, funny and just oozes charm out of his every pour. Getting to know him and the way he sees things in this story was a very Delicious treat. Mia James is sassy and fun completely the perfect one for our much loved cowboy. Their journey was captivating with all the highs and lows of dealing with the past and trying to see if they could build a future. Loved it all, looking forward to the next visit to Wishing Well, TX.

I'm loving Wishing Well! Travis and Mia's story is a great addition. Talk about love at first sight! The secondary characters and other townsfolk always brighten my day. I really love how Travis falls hard so fast, but that Mia needed some convincing. The Briggs family will all be married off soon at this rate, and I cannot wait to read it!

Hot Cowboy, who's a romantic and a gentleman, what more could you want?! 😍I'll take one of those, please.

The dynamic duo of Melanie and Shawna did it again. They created such a fun, sweet and sexy love story between Travis and Mia. I kept picturing Travis as the hot bull rider Bonner Bolton from DWTS. 😍 I need to take a moment and appreciate the reference made in this book for one of my favorite shows "Psych"🍍. AMAZING! Also Travis usage for emojis in this book, were spot on. 😆

Here's a brief summary of what this book is about, besides being HOT. Travis comes from a large family in small town called Wishing Well. He's always been single and has an appreciation for the ladies but no one has ever made the cut for him. At his brothers wedding Travis stumbles upon Mia James. Mia James is in town to produce her first reality tv show for one of Travis brothers. Think The Bachelor. Travis over hears Mia's phone conversation that she needs a fake boyfriend so she doesn't look so pathetic in front of her ex boyfriend who is also her business partner. Umm, not to mention he's all of sudden engaged and expecting a baby soon. 😳 Travis offers himself as her fake boyfriend and Mia reluctantly agrees once Travis introduces her to his mom as his girlfriend as well. She can't back out now.
That's when the real fun begins and the playful and sexy banter starts in the story. You'll have to read if they end up together or just part ways. 😉

I really enjoyed this book and look forward reading which brother falls in love next.

Do yourself a favor and check out this series and anything written by Melanie Shawn.

The problem with Melanie Shawn books is that once you pick one up you can't put it down!
I loved Taming Travis and I absolutely love the Wishing Well series so far.
Travis is a Texas rancher who overhears beautiful Mia, who is directing a reality show in town, talk to her sister about hiring a fake boyfriend to show her ex she's moved on. Little do they both know that they are each other's one and only. Will they be able to combine their two different worlds and make things work?
Travis and Mia's story is one full of romance, witty humor and is such a great read. I found myself laughing out loud and cheering for these two great characters. I can't wait for the next installment!

WOW !! I have to say that I have loved every Wishing Well book. Every time I read one I think WOW this is better then the last one. Since the last one was amazing ..... What I am really saying is that this is a MUST read. Travis is now my new book boyfriend. He has it all and then some. When you put him and Mia together it was explosive. You add in all the people of Wishing Well Texas and you have one hell of a book from start to finish. I am so looking forward to the next one. If you have not read any of the Wishing Well Texas I do suggest you start at book one. That is not because they can't be read as stand alones but because each one is just that good !! I would definitely recommend this book.5 stars for sure !!

This was such a great read. Once you see Travis and Mia together you will want them together through the whole book. They have great chemistry and they have wonderful times together. Travis is constantly there for Mia and its great to see these two fall in love. Mia's ex was horrible to her and pretty much just threw her away. Travis treats her so good and shows her exactly how she should be treated. We get to have laughing moments and sweet moments but we also get to see some struggles going on. I absolutely love Melanie Shawn's books.

This book was just funny, cute and sweet right from the start. Mia is the girl you want to be friends with and Travis is the guy that you want to fall for you. I love how he fell for her the instant he saw her, and was so cute and charming the whole way through the book. Mia is just sweet and funny and you can't help but relate to her. You start cheering for these 2 right from the beginning. This book is just a fun, feel good read that you will be glad you picked!!!
