A fitting end for a legend
I wasn't sure what to make of Revolver to begin with, Books 1 & 2 were fairly grounded in reality, all be it an alternative one. John Lennon had been saved by a normal twist of fate not by anything fantastical and all the events that happened accross the two book could possibly happen, even if they were unlikely. Then book 3 starts with an attack that could have come from any number of sci-fi move's. My first thought was that the author had 'jumped the shark' but, although the book is more sci-fi than the previous two it still makes sense, concentrating on the long term consequences of John's actions in the previous books, we are shown a disturbing vision of a future led by greed.
