WHAT DOESN'T KILL YA!!!
Hey guys, are you ready. Naw, I don't think so, but you get to hear me just the same. If you're looking for a fast paced, action packed, suspense filled with drama galore and danger all around, congrats my people you've just stepped off in it. The characters are intriguing, complex and realistic. Their personalities are well developed with individual qualities so alive and personable that its easy to relate to each other. The scenes so vividly detailed and descriptive that it gives the illusion you were right there in the middle of ground zero with them. Twists and turns abound with unexpected surprises that keep your focus on this page turning tale. Michael draws us deep into his imagination and weaves a world around us until everything else ceases to exist. Remarkable job Michael, thanks for sharing this awesome read with us.

Epic!!!
OMG!! Best book series ever!! High five stars!!
Book three in the Arena series!
Now that we've learned just what a brutal author Withrow is in his writing skill when he kills off one of his main characters, we are left shifting restlessly in our seats as page after page we turn trying to learn the future or lack thereof for Cole and Colston!!
High energy and awesome action sequences sets the bar level on this series! Not for the timid or weak of knees!
If this is indeed the end it was a great finale.....even though we as readers always want more ; )

Once again D. Michael Withrow has captivated me with the ongoing story of Colston and Cole. After the devastating losses in part two, I wasn't sure if the story could continue on smoothly but Mr Withrow pulled it off! I can only hope for a part four as many things were brought to conclusion with this book. Definitely a must read series by a great author. If you love action with a futuristic twist, this is where to go!

What an epic finale to this trilogy of tragedy and heartbreak. I will admit that I was wary when the author announced it was a trilogy as opposed to a duology. But after reading it, I am glad that it didn't end with Part II.
Told in alternating chapters between two characters, this novel delves into the psychological trauma that Colston endures after the events of the previous novel. It also delves into the love Cole has for Colston, and his inability to abandon is longtime friend.
Though the novel began a bit slowly, it became faster paced within a few chapters. To be fair, it was slow going simply due to the need to set up the scenes for each character. Especially since they were both in new territories.
I believe that the author captured the psychological torture that a broken person puts themself through when they feel guilty (even if the previous events were not necessarily their fault). He was also able to capture the inability of friends to comfort and "save" the person from their self-torture.
Many scenes in this novel were very heartfelt or savage. There really was no in-between. But I, as a reader, am guilty of enjoying the heart-wrenching torture an author can inflict with his writing. And, I will admit, that though the ending may be cliche (in a good way!), it was not the ending I thought the author was going to give. So I was pleasantly surprised.
Overall, a quick, but very intriguing read.

I was uncertain where this story would or could go after the tragic events of Part 2...the third book in this addictive dystopian world series takes up where the last finished .. Colston on trial for the murder of his father and Cole, his faithful friend, out on his own personal mission........ both continue to be at the mercy of unscrupulous men but there are also those who willingly risk their own lives to provide support and protection for the two antagonists as they fight for survival and freedom....
Told from Cole's and Colston's perspectives ... the plot was fast paced and thrilling ..all the characters, even the minor cast members, were well written and developed....Colston and Cole are such dysfunctional but worthy heroes who have experienced so much trauma and loss and are totally believable... I have been completely invested in the outcome of their stories from the very beginning of this series....
An exciting and at times an emotional read..this is a violent world where fighting and death are an everyday occurrence but there is also friendship, courage and loyalty which provided a perfect counterbalance..... once I started to read I was hooked and I could not put it down....
.... if this the last in the series then so be it...the conclusion tied up loose ends and resolved the outcomes for the characters...... but I can see there is still room for so much more so fingers crossed Part 4 will be landing on my Kindle in the not too distant future...I received a copy of this book as an ARC from the author in exchange for a fair and honest review......

This is a must read for fans of the series
A stunning conclusion to the trilogy! The author brings the story to a very satisfying close in this the 3rd installment. If you loved books 1 & 2 book 3 is the bomb. Our heroes, Cole and Colston along with some of their friends prove to be able to overcome great odds and beat the system time and again in book 1 & 2. Book 3 brings the pain, but also brings the joy along with the warmth and friendship between Cole & Colston. A very good read. I read the entire 3 book series in about 5 hours, and literally could not stop reading. I look forward to more from D Michael WIthrow in the future.
