Love this series, and the Serrated Brotherhood MC, Bijou Hunter, never disappoints. It seems with each book, the series gets better and better. Tequila Blues was a fantastic listen, centring on Dayton and Harmony and their second chance. Dayton is flawed, witty, funny with a devil-may-care attitude, and a total playboy. Harmony is head-strong, determined, and independent. Dayton and Harmony have history and great chemistry; they've had feelings for each other for many years. The last time they had the chance to be together, Dayton let Harmony getaway, a decision he'd always regret making. Harmony is now a single mom to Keanu, the most adorable three-year-old boy. Dayton will have to live with his actions and make amends for his mistakes and hurting Harmony.
Their story is wonderfully written, sweet, angsty, and steamy; it captured and held my attention from start to end. The best part, Dayton was able to redeem himself through sheer persistence and determination. I like how Harmony knew the real Dayton and could see the man behind the façade. Their connection was definitely passionate and intimate, one worth fighting for.
Superb narration by Isabella Starr. Her depiction of the characters and their emotions was excellent. She breathed life into the characters and Hunter's words. Overall, Tequila Blues is a well-written and pretty enjoyable MC second chance romance, one I'll strongly recommend.
