Not with a bad boy. Not with a good guy. Not on a train. Not in the rain. Not with a pillow, shower massager, pocket rocket, XL extra-veined d*ldo, Ben-Wa balls, rabbit thruster, diamond glider, bionic bullet, remote control vibrating panties—nothing.
You can say I’m frustrated.
So when I enroll in Human Sexuality my sophomore year, it’s with the hope that I might discover what I’m doing wrong. Turns out it’s who I’m NOT doing that’s the problem.
He walks into the classroom—trimmed pants, tight ass, folded-up sleeves, wide chest, blue eyes, Clark Kent glasses. Older. Hot. I pray to the climax gods that he sit next to me and become my new study buddy. Instead, he sets his briefcase down and begins to write on the board in big bold letters: Dr. MacKenzie -- “Welcome to Human Sexuality 101.”
And I’ve never loved college more. Teach me, Professor. I’m listening.
** This younger woman/older man standalone in the Taboo 101 Novels does not contain cheating. It does, however, contain an HEA and will melt your panties off. You have been warned.
Very hot! Pretty smutacular student/teacher taboo romance. Especially the first half. The second half got a bit tedious for me, but overall I liked it. Happy reading!
**My thanks to the author for providing me with a free copy for an honest review**
Sabine is a 20 year old student who took human sexuality in college for one purpose only. To figure out why she has never been able to orgasm yet.
When her current teacher is taken ill and replaced by the uber hot Dr Liam MacKenzie the whole class takes a different turn and Sabine finds herself pulled into an attraction that is instantly felt by both of them.
The chemistry between the two leaps of the pages and the sex scenes scorch the pages they are that hot. Liam gives Sabine private lessons in order that she can let go and discover herself better, however both learn things from the other and it is Liam that ends up having to learn the most.
A really hot, fast paced read that had me turning page after page until i realised that the book was, unfortunately, finished.
I can't wait to get my hands on the next book in the series.
Schooled is a very sexy student/teacher taboo story which I absolutely loved. Liam and Sabine are great characters, the story is well written and the sex between these two is scorching hot. I highly recommend this book it's well worth the read.
What happens when your HOT Sexuality professor is willing and wanting to teach you all about the holy "O"? One steamy, sexual, forbidden love story! Schooled is about Sabine, a 20 year old good girl college student who has had no luck in the sex department. She has never experienced that mind blowing organism that so many have. What better way to find out what's wrong with her anatomy than enrolling in a Human Sexuality course. But what Sabine doesn't expect is how the professor teaching that course can and will teach her more than she ever expected. Liam MacKenzie has agreed to take over the Human Sexuality class in hopes that it will help his chances of getting the "Teacher of the Year" award. Once he has that, then he will be able to move on to his dream job at Harvard. No problem, just go in, teach about human sexuality and then go about his day. The only problem is Sabine, the forbidden fruit that lures him in with her innocence, intrigues him with her questions, and challenges him with her proposition that he knows he can't say NO to. As much as Liam tries to deny Sabine, he just can't let her go. What starts as lessons in pleasure soon turns into lust and love. Soon Liam finds that his plan for his future is not the only thing put on the line. Can Liam and Sabine continue with their secret love affair without being found out? What will Liam choose if he has to? Will Sabine finally experience that mind blowing "O" she has been looking for for so long? This is my first book by Savana Scott and not my last.
Dr. Liam MacKenzie is the new Human Sexuality teacher, and Sabine is a student who is taking the class in a desperate attempt to learn how to have an orgasm. Sabine has tried everything, and after enduring weeks of Dr. Quackenbush's attempts to teach about sex, she's excited (to say the least) to have handsome Dr. MacKenzie walk into the room to take over the class.
Liam is determined to take his professor game to the next level--he wants to be named Teacher of the Year, and he's hoping that will catapult him into a position he *really* wants at Harvard. After seeing Sabine sitting in the front row in class, he starts to think about other positions that might be even more enjoyable... and so begins an series of illicit meetings that will leave readers wanting to return to school.
Sabine and Liam are great characters, and the sex that they have is steamy deliciousness. All in all, this is a great romance/erotica novel--and the first in the series, so there's more to come!
My thanks to the author and the publisher for a copy of the book in exchange for my unbiased review.

Schooled by Havana Scott is the first in the Taboo series.
Sabine is a 20 year old college student. Liam is her 30 something professor. Silly Liam thinks he can hide his good looks behind a scruffy beard, geeky clothes and Clark Kent glasses. Sabine is a straight A student who NEEDS to be educated on the Big O. He's willing to teach her that particular syllabus topic in a one on one setting. ~shaking my head~ I wanted to yell at both of them at different times, but I knew what I was getting into before I cracked the binding. I mean, the word Taboo is right there in the series title.
There was a bit of depth to this story exploring human sexuality, sexual surrogacy and gender identity.
I enjoyed this one handed read and will be recommending this book to friends to never be discussed, merely enjoyed.
First of all this is the VERY first book I've ever read from Havana Scott! Let's just say that I couldn't put the damn book down! It gripped me from the very first page! ♡♡ Though, my heart did break. . These are the type's of book's that I absolutely love emotional rollarcoster romance book's that hit on VERY real subject matter! I love when I'm able to actually see the book unfolding in my minds eye, along with feeling what the character's feel. If you love the type of book's that hit on VERY real subject matter, hot hot hot hot hot hot hot hot hot hot hot hot hot scenes that set your body aflame with a bit of Taboo matter than this book is for you!!
This is really an interesting taboo story between a professor and a student.
It was good, and the chemistry is good as well. Again the circumstances is the conflict here but I felt like Liam was always looking for a loophole in their relationship. And Sabine was always constantly using sex to keep him?
I don't know. It seemed too desperate for me BUT! it is still a great read. XD
It goes quickly at the begining and is super steamy (it's basically erotica), but I found they push and pull once things were going was more thoughtful, angsty and realistic than the begining and that made me connect with the book much more. Not a totally original, but still interesting take on the student teacher trope. Also - glasses all day!
This trope is not one I typically read but I'm glad I took a chance on this book. The story is really well written and contains humor, psychology, life lessons and more. All of that on top of a steamy relationship. I highly recommend this book.
why in so many of these books do the girls always become insecure about the men not drooling for them in the halls of the school. OMG he's not obsessively staring at me... does he HATE me? **eye roll**
So far I love this book. I wish I could get my hands on to the full version. It is so addictive and I can’t wait to read the rest of the book. Both characters are amazing and the story line is great. Nicely done
Not my usual type of book, but I'm glad I got the chance to read it. I thought the characters were engaging. Loved the flirting, bits of humor and sarcasm.
Good steamy read. Would have liked for it to show Liams reaction since it was mentioned that he wanted kids. Very likeable characters, loved Leo, for what we had of him anyway.
