Two years have passed since dragons returned to the world of man.
Isabella and Sisera have been working together to understand their bond and unleash Isabella's magic. Kai and Raven have been building up the Tower of Kings and a community has sprung up around it. But the return of dragons is not without perils. The Sacred Blood, sworn enemies of the dragons, have infiltrated the community and intend to destroy everything they have built.
Sacred Blood is the third Dragonblood Sagas novel. Lyric's Curse, the first Dragonblood novel, can be read before or after the Sisera's Gift novels.
A few misspelled words not really that big a problem. But having a main character toss his sword at someone and the next sentence his is using it to block and fight stops the story. Having several people fight the same person in different places messing up the story flow is bad. Having non-dragon blood jump from the 5th/6th story of the tower and complains his gear is broken, was a bit of a shortcut for plot. Besides the point that Kai has seen the invisible spell in an attack at the start of the book, could guess they used it to take the tower. Why would he lead men in and be surprised by the empty courtyard. The story needs editing, and a good proofreader.
What a great series! Can't wait to read the next . Fascinating characters, exciting plot, and oh yeah, they've got dragons! What more could you ask for?
