Her books have been translated into several languages, have won numerous awards, and are bestsellers. She believes in empowering women through her writing as well as providing everyone with a great escape from reality. Because why have normal when you could have paranormal?
Born and raised in Hawaii, Amy made a perilous journey across the ocean with six cats to settle in the beautiful state of Oregon which reminds her a lot of Hawaii but without the cockroaches or evil sand. When she isn't trying to type fast enough to get down everything the voices in her head are saying while her kitties try to sabotage her with cuteness, she enjoys painting on canvases, walls, and anything else that will sit still long enough for the paint to dry. She prefers antiques to modern furniture, tea to coffee, night to day, and Tom Hardy to Tom Hiddleston. No; Tom Hiddleston to Tom Hardy. No, wait... Tom Hardy and Tom Hiddleston to Tom Cruise. Yes, that's it.

Once again, Seren's crazy ass family is trying to murder her, although this time is her crazy, psychopathic, rapist aunty!

Unfortunately for Seren, Danu has gone silent, so Seren's left in the dark about where to go adn what to do. What makes it even worse, is that it appears Danu has been speaking to the Elves who are on Moire's side!

Seren is finally moving on form her relationship with Teirnan and moving on with Raza, although Killian is definitely trying to get himself into the ring. As the story progresses you begin to see Teirnan come to regret his past decisions, Raza become possessive but never strangulating and Killian become a little more series and shoulder more responsibility.

Im a little curious to see where her dads romance progresses with the healer, it would be nice to see him in love.

The climax of the story saw alliance turn, monarchs battle and a few weddings.
I loved that Seren finally came around to the idea of sharing all 3 men, and that they were all ok with it!!

The series ended in a way that definitely left it open for the next book, her uncle is still missing, so i think hes going to cause some trouble in the future.
I cannot wait to see how Seren goes juggling the title of Ambassador, Queen, Princess and Wife!

Seren is having issues again with her human ideas of relationships. Not only that, but it feels like her world is going to war and she can't stop it. Now, she must trust her heart to get her through all of these problems before it is too late.

This book was very good, even though it went by way too quickly. I really thought the plot was good, and I enjoyed how the characters ended up towards the end as well. I felt like Seren was handling things better in this one and that she's getting stronger, and now I can't wait for more. This book really changed the story, and I'm so looking forward to what Seren does next.

Well. His went from one extreme to the other.

This book seemed to have it all. Betrayal, kidnapping, abandonment, love, secrets, and a tricksy goddess who just can’t help but meddle.

There was so much covered in this book that I felt like I was being overloaded with information and emotions. There are 3 threads interwoven in this story, which was one too much for me. Also, this really felt like the final book in a series where all the plots of the previous stories get tied up and topped with a big bow. However, since I know there’s three more left, I’m wondering what the author is up to... 🤨

So while I did enjoy the ride, it wasn’t my favourite book in the series to date.

Great fancy read, love the banter, had me giggling. Love the many characters & story lines, love that there is no beginning, middle & end but a few different middles.

Decent addition

While I did not enjoy this offering quite as much as the previous two, it still pulled through as a solid story and advanced the grand story of the twilight court. Danu is proving a tricky goddess, or at least that is how it appears as old family feuds spill over into the human realm with deadly results - results that fling all of fairy into war once more.

Seren, finally settled and in love with her dragon, finds her heart tossed once more when the call of Danu proves impossible to ignore - even if it breaks her own heart in the end.

Funny, complex and lively, the author has a way of wrapping the plot around both power and love, all the while dropping thought provoking tidbits of wisdom that are all too human, even in the realm of the fay.

This book makes up for book 5

The turnabout of the characters, particularly Tiernan's, personality and actions in book 5 was explained in this book. Serena was not acting like an narcissistic teenager in this book, that was also a nice change from book 5. There was a lot of answers and loose ends tied in this book and could have easily been the last book of the series. Hopefully, the next book(s) are not drawn out. I am still not totally on board the Killian train, but he was better in this book, not as immature. I particularly enjoyed the growing friendships between the men, even if they are done begrudgingly.

Another fabulous addition to the twilight court series. Seren finally gets over her human customs and marries a seelie and unseelie AND is engaged to a twilight. Danu’s plan has come full circle and it seems like the perfect happy ending but Seren’s life is never that easy. There is war and death and there is a new threat to the HR. Seren will be a fantastic queen and I can’t wait for her to kick some more ass!

Hmm

I’ve never liked killian and I just knew this book was going to go the way it did as far as the relationships we’re concerned. I didn’t want killian in the mix. He annoys me too much. I wish it had been Adrian the pack alpha from Missouri. Him I liked. There was a lot of conclusion to this book. Chapters spent wrapping things up after the story reached its climax. I’m not sure where the series will go now as it feels pretty concluded now.

Worth the read!!

I started this series by reading book 6. I wish I had started with the first one. I will rectify this oversight. Good book. Full of action and humor. I recommend this series for adults.

I have really enjoyed this series and look forward to the next instalment. I would reiterate one of my earlier reviews though, there are times when this series is dangerously close to The Godhunter in many ways. (Still in love with Raza though :) ).

Excellent

So many plot twists, so little time. Action, drama, kidnapping, vengeance, fey royalty. Add in more crazy relations, punny humor, and sexy men, and watch how Seren handles it all.

I really really love these books.

The story building, character, background and everything is just amazing.

The 3 men thing is a little weird for me but it makes up for it by the men being so romantic especially Raza. 🐲

This series really speaks for itself. Just engaging. The story continues the same way it started.. with a bang. It gathers you in and you just can't stop.

Good

This continues the story of Seren and has another psycho evil villain. Was a good read with well made world building, good characters, romance, heartbreak, magic, action and steamy scenes.

Elf-shot, the sixth book of the Twilight Court series, is a book I picked up through Kindle Unlimited. This installment of the series had the usual mix of unusual characters, but the plot (while good) felt more rambling in parts. I picked up the next two books to see what happens next.

Ok. It feels like the end though. I see there are another 3 books. Feels like it might be dragging it out needlessly.

To put it simply...

I still enjoy the storyline, still dislike Raza, and am still irritated by the grammar issues throughout the book. Overall, it is a good read.

awesome

Yay!! I’m so happy she’s finally married to at least two of her men and that the people who were the worst are finally dead. I wonder about Shane though…

Ok, so I have been reading this series every night and Looking forward to it.

Unfortunately, this book was a touch of a let down.
But then I read the rest of the available books in the series and did not hate it so much. The more I thought about its place in the overall plot line the more I realized it was actually a good read. Definitely not he best in the series though.

I barely started this book and am not likely to finish it because this series doesn't pull me in like her Godhunter series. Since the first book I thought it was well written and had some funny moments but maybe this series is too serious for me. Also the fact that it is called an orbital romance (I used to caIl them menagerie romances cuz I don't like calling them Reverse Harems) but starting book 6 out of the original 9 and she has one boyfriend annoys me. Down the line she might have more but until they show up take it out of the title of the books until it's true, cuz its misleading.

Multiples

I kind of felt slighted on behalf of Seren. I mean having multiple lovers and trying to figure things out should have been for her and her alone. The war was a little anticlimactic. I expected more. Oh well it happens

Amy Sumida has done it again... she has impressed me with her ability to turn out an amazing novel that keeps my interest and yet tosses me through a whirlwind of emotions! It felt like forever before this book came out, and now I will have to wait another forever for the next book to come out. You won't be disappointed with this series or this author!

Wow... just wow 5*

So this is the latest book in the series and it's just as fascinating as the others. I love all the people in these books esp the newest man in her life Killian.
I'm this book anther crazy relative comes out to play and this times she's brought the Elves!
There books really do need to be read in order. They are all fast paced twisted plots with people you just can't help falling in love with I've laughed cried and raged as reading them and I'd recommend them if you like supernatural romance books that aren't 90% sex

Finally!

We've been building and building and finally!!! I was extremely worried about Tiernan and what was going to happen. I didn't know if I could forgive him even if Seren did. This was written in a way that made everything alright. Absolutely perfect. Love love love this book.
