I'm the last single woman among my friends. Don't feel sorry for me. I'm fine with flying solo, especially with ski season right around the corner. You won't hear me complaining. Until my mother decides I need a date for my cousin's wedding ... and chooses the worst man in the world for me.
Landon Roberts is the human equivalent of a parka with every ski pass he's ever purchased hanging off of his zipper. Apparently my mother is the last person in Colorado to know about Landon's reputation.
To make things worse, his super hot brother Aiden's back in town. Still gorgeous and still not remotely interested in me.
I can survive this wedding disaster as long as I pretend my date is someone else.
***
As one of the stars of Aspen's rugby club, I don't need help meeting women. Tell that to my mother. She's picked out my date for the biggest wedding of the year.
Mae London is the local girl who broke every heart in the valley before she left for California. Now she's back and hotter than ever. Too bad she hates me.
Enlisting the help of my brother, I'm going to become the ideal man, and charm Mae right out of her bad opinion of me.
This wedding date will be perfect as long as I pretend to be someone else.

USA Today Bestselling author Daisy Prescott lives in a real life Stars Hollow in the Boston suburbs with her husband and an indeterminate number of imaginary housegoats. When not writing about people falling in love, she can be found traveling, gardening, baking, and reading a good book.
Her series include: Love with Altitude, Modern Love Stories, Wingmen and Bewitched.
It’s no secret I love me some of Daisy Prescott’s words and this series is one of the reasons why: with relatable and endearing characters, witty humour and a good old dose of lovin’, each book has hit the spot nicely.
Isn’t bringing a random guy to a wedding kind of weird?”
Up to You kind of has a love triangle going on, which for someone who’s gets palpitations from them was of (unnecessary) concern. And when Mae finds herself paired with ladies-man Landon for her cousin’s upcoming nuptials, she doesn’t expect to find herself gravitating towards his older brother, Aiden who has a bit of a secret soft spot for her.
...my current mission is to help Captain Dickhead impress her. I don’t know who I feel worse for: her or myself.”
There was no question who I was rooting for as Aiden was gorgeous and he Mae were lovely together bringing a good balance of sweet and sexy and creating plenty of laughs along the way. And when you add in Mae’s sharp retorts and no-mess attitude as well as the brotherly banter courtesy of Landon and Aiden, this was without question an enjoyable outing to Aspen.
If she gives me the chance, I’ll prove I’m worth her heart and all of her tomorrows.”
However, at the same time it seemed shorter in length than its predecessors, over that bit too quick and I can’t help but feel that Mae and Aiden—and the couples we’ve met previously—deserved a little more of a send off. But that could be down to personal feeling as Daisy Prescott has become a firm favourite partly down to the depth she creates in her couples and, having read several now, it’s likely an influence. Nevertheless, Up to You is well worth checking out.

I'm normally all about this author with her subtle snark and witty storytelling. For the most part, Up to You worked for me. Unfortunately a huge part of the story was based on the fact that our homegirl Mae jumped to some mighty big conclusions about Aiden without much prompting or utilizing the info she already possessed regarding her old crush.
Not only did Ms. Mae assume a whole lot about Aiden without being shown the receipts, she then proceeded to share that info with everyone she knew. This personality trait didn't jive with the Mae put forth throughout the rest of the book and it managed to distract me from the story on more than one occasion.
Thanks to me and my advice of getting back on the horse after her last relationship ended, she met Justin. I guess she took me literally, and not only rode the horse, but the cowboy, too. Can’t blame her. Justin wearing a pair of chaps does cause spontaneous ovulation.
Man, you’re a mess. No wonder your dating life has more punches than a loyalty card at Fuel Coffee.
“You went out with Landon Roberts, too?” Placing my pint on a napkin in front of me, the bartender gives me a sympathetic smile. We need a secret sign or pin for the Sisterhood of the Unfortunate.
…he’s getting worse with age, instead of better. Instead of being a fine wine or cheese, he’s a stale, three-day-old loaf of bread or a questionable almond that leaves a bitter aftertaste.
You’ve just ruined me for all other men. Are you okay with that? Because if this doesn’t work out, I’m going to die alone with dozens of cats and a huge collection of balloon knick-knacks, and it will be all your fault.
My Review:
This was a delightfully fun and pleasurable read loaded with clever and amusing wit, appealing characters, and comical observations. The storylines were humorous, engaging, easy to follow, and a little steamy. I haven’t read all the previous books in the series and while it wasn’t necessary, the idea of spending more time with this quirky cluster of friends is undeniably tempting.
Up to You by Daisy Prescott is the last book in the Love with Altitude Series. I had only read the first book in the series, but I found it wasn’t necessary to read the rest to enjoy the book and follow along. Up to You is a lighthearted romantic comedy with lots of endearing and quirky characters that will keep you on your toes.
I do have to admit that I was a bit disappointed with Up to You after reading Next to You (Love with Altitude #1) and enjoying that one so much. I was expecting more from Up to You. I was surprise and a bit put back when I realized this was a love triangle story. That is something I didn’t really gather from reading the blurb for the book. The worse thing is that the triangle was between brothers. I was rooting for one from the beginning because the other brother was just a mess!
The heroine of the story, Mae, also had to grow on me. I loved that she was quirky and unique, but she was pretty shallow sometimes. She created a whole dramatic storyline about one of the brothers based on barely any information and spread it around to her friends. And the things she was imagining (based on miscommunication and not asking) were pretty intense things like alcohol and drug addictions. I did like her more towards the end of the book, when she stopped jumping to conclusions.
The last thing I will mention in this short rant is that I felt the book had no buildup or connection. I mean the two main characters fell in love with a few conversations and no physical contact. The first kiss was not until 70% into the book! This was not very believable. Then when Mae found out about something one of the brothers was lying about she didn’t even get mad. There was no conflict there, and what was there was resolved way too fast for my liking.
Despite these things, I have to admit that I enjoyed this light read. If you like quirky characters and romantic comedies then Up to You by Daisy Prescott is definitely a book worth checking out.
Oh wow, what a beautiful lighthearted read this beauty was!

I just need to say this...When I read a book from this amazing author I’m never disappointed. Daisy always delivers incredible books. They just seem to get better and better with every new release.
Ok, so here’s my actual review lol
This book was much more than I expected. It was adorable, beautiful and fun to read. I’m not one to read love triangles because I don’t particularly like them but this book was so much different to any other ones I’ve read. Daisy mastered this perfectly to the point I didn’t mind reading it, in-fact I LOVED reading it.
Mae is a beautiful and caring character, you click with her from the get go. She comes from a family who want everything perfect but she doesn’t go with what they tell her to, she’s free and independent and a little bit Rebel, I loved her hard.
Aiden, oh Aiden. I fell hard for this guy, not gonna lie. He had my heart from the beginning. He’s his own man, keeps himself to himself. He’s respectful and loyal and a freaking handsome man. He has money but he’s the kind of guy that doesn’t like to flaunt it, he wants to be respected for who he is and not his money and that my friends, makes the absolute PERFECT book Boyfriend.
I’d leave a comment on the other brother but he just made me want to gut punch him every time he spoke. What a freaking douche canoe.
The storyline was intriguing, I was constantly wondering how it was going to map out, constantly questioning if the girl gonna get the guy or not? Or would his brother fuck everything up. Gahh. It had me on edge.
The moment between the two had me melting to a puddle on my seat. They’re so freaking adorable and all I wanted was more, more moments for the two of them.
Reading a Daisy Prescott book always makes me happy. Her characters are always on point, her writing is beautifully put and she just awes me. It’s been an honour and complete pleasure reviewing this baby.
So, if you’re looking for a beautiful and lighthearted read this book is for you. I’d recommend it to anyone.
even though this book had somewhat of a triangle with our heroine and two brothers, one who was a player and another who was helping him become a nice guy and simultaneously falling for the heroine, I didn't mind it and I hate that trope but it was done alright with not too much drama and emotions for two of the guys..as the heroine was set up to go a date with the player brother we kind of know she will not end up with him.. for me this was better than the previous book because that one was a snooze fest..here I was entertained and even laughed out loud a couple of times.. the heroine had some assumptions about the hero which was stupid on her part..still, enjoyable read and I think my favorite in the series!

2.5 stars. This book was kind of a mess to me. This is Mae's story. We get three point of view in this book and it makes it hard to tell who the hero in the book will end up being. I'm glad it ended up being who it was, as the other option was a jerk. I liked the hero, but he seemed kind of bland and nothing special. I won't give away who it is in this review so I don't spoil it. I also can't tell much about the plot either without giving away the hero. All I can say is that, Mae's mother tries to set her up with a date for her cousin's wedding, which leads to her spending time with the date, a "misunderstanding" and some drama, before she ends up with the right guy in the end.
I didn't really like Mae. She leapt to some pretty outrageous conclusions about the hero and was judgemental throughout the book. The "misunderstanding" continues until almost the end of the book. I think it was supposed to be light and funny that she thought the hero was a drug addict who used hookers, but it was drug out way too long. And once the hero found out she thought those things about him at 80%, he acted like it was no big deal. Most of the book was slow moving, while the end was rushed. There was not very much time between Mae and the hero either, until the end. We're expected to believe they fall for each other after just a few conversations, a misunderstanding about each other, and nothing physical between them, but that was not believable for me. Their first kiss was at 71%, There was no build up for me to love, emotions or feelings of any kind. There were also some major plot holes in general, especially involving a Cyrano De Bergerac scenario. It was not fully explained what was going on; I guess we were just expected to know. The last 5% of the book was the best part and actually pretty sweet, but I didn't really enjoy the rest. Also there are no I Love You's spoken to each other in this book, which I definitely like to read in romance.
Overall, I was just disappointed in this book. I had just read the first book in the series, Next to You, right before this book, and enjoyed it a lot. So I was expecting something similar in this book. But this book turned to out to be not very organized, with poor pacing and an unlikable heroine. I am not sure if I will continue to read this series in the future.
I’m always up for a Daisy Prescott rom-com, and I absolutely love this charming, entertaining series. 𝑼𝒑 𝒕𝒐 𝒀𝒐𝒖 is the fourth, stand-alone book in Love with Altitude, and it is a fun and sassy story along the lines of Cyrano de Bergerac in which one brother, Aiden, coaches the other brother, Landon, on what to say to get the girl, Mae. It is a not really a love triangle, if you shy away from those, because it is pretty clear who Mae will end up with. It’s lighthearted, feel-good romance with wonderful characters that you do not want to miss.
Their reputation precedes them. Will they live down the rumors, while battling matchmaking mamas? Mae and Landon have nothing in common. His playboy ways and her persnickity attitude spell trouble for anyone who steps in their path. When circumstance keeps pushing them together, they'll find out they never knew each other at all. Prescott brings on the charm. Up to You is a humorous delight with a hint of sage advice and heart thrown in for good measure. Get ready for some fun.
** ARC kindly provided by the author for an honest review. **
I love Daisy Prescott’s romantic comedies. If you haven’t read the Love With Altitude series, let just say that you’re going high on love with this one.
Mae is the last single woman from her group of friends, whom throughout the other books found their match. With the wedding of the year coming, she ended being matched with the manwhore in town. Trust me ladies, he is way out of her league (not in a good way). Yes, Landon might be good-looking but ruining his chances every time he speaks … we can’t have it all, right?
I was wondering how Mae would find her HEA, and as the story and scheme unfold, I was already seduced by the author’s proposal. I guess I wouldn’t have it any other way. It was well-rounded, funny and witty. A banter off the charts, a bit of sarcasm and some pretty memorable scenes.
I still love the other couples but this one was definitely my favorite. I’ve been entertained, I laughed a lot, swooned so many times I lost count.
It wasn’t just funny and hilarious, it had this little something that made it so special.
Lighthearted, strong feel good vibes, a crew that we loved to meet from one book to another, I enjoyed every moment. A wonderful and delightful surprise.
All of Mae's friends are happy and content in their relationships while all she has had is utter bad luck. Now she needs a date to her cousin's wedding and her mother sets her up with the worst of the worst; Landon Roberts. He's the kind of jerk Mae wouldn't even touch with a ten feet pole. But for her sake she'll have to endure.
Landon's mother believes she needs to find him a date for the grandest wedding Aspen has ever seen. She has picked Mae London and he couldn't be happier. He knows she thinks the worst of him so he enlists the help of his brother to charm her into liking him. Obviously nothing can go wrong.
I just really love everything Daisy Prescott writes and this book was no different. It was the perfect blend of hilarious, emotional, sexy and sweet. I couldn't stop myself from laughing out loud at some of the scenes.
Believe it or not Landon actually made me swoon. I was not sure about him in the beginning but dammit he grew on me and made me love him. Mae and her friends were just too damn funny and super sweet. Every girl needs a support system like that.
I LOVE LOVE this story and seriously want to binge the others in this series.
I love Daisy’s writing style, the dialogue continues to draw me in. Hilarious one liners.
She also weaves such enjoyable stories to read. The characters in Up To You were well matched and I liked how everything unfolded. Definitely another great book from one of my favorite author finds of 2018!
Once again, Daisy Prescott has made me swooooooooooooooon. As always, I have zero impulse control when it comes to Daisy’s books and Up to You was no different - I started to read it almost immediately and was completely enthralled. The ONLY reason I did put it down was for a hockey game. In my defense, it was the Stanley Cup finals and my team was on the verge of winning it for the first time in their 44-year history. I digress. Up to You is an even more modern take on the story of Cyrano with some emojis. But even more, it is a delightfully clever romance with characters that just totally stole my heart.
I loved so many things about this book. Starting with the fact just how perfectly Daisy captures the tone of her characters. They are of a certain generation who are painted with some pretty broad and at time negative strokes. But this cast, who might have the means to enjoy their lives to its fullest (and they do), we get to see them not only working hard, but also make significant contributions to their community.
But it’s Mae and Aiden’s story and for me, they LIT IT UP. They had chemistry for days and their every moment together felt like this divine romance – fabulous banter, flirting and that uncontrollable urge to nudge them even closer to each other. It felt like a kind of magic and the payoff is worth every second of that want.
Daisy’s heroes are some of my favorite characters and with Aiden Roberts she has created the book boyfriend of your dreams. He is truly a good guy and while that goodness is tested by a sibling rivalry that honestly is no contest, but it shows that Aiden has the collective restraint of all the angels and saints. But even more, this man a romantic, who sees Mae for the amazing woman that she is and does not hesitate to let her know. Oh, and our (or my) Mr. Roberts is a kisser. A fabulous kisser. GAH!!!
Mae is amazing. I could completely relate to her on so many levels -- I loved her humor and ability to overthink or over speak. Also, while she is her own woman, it doesn’t matter how much of an adult Mae might think she is, she is not impervious to the power of the matriarchy. Pretty much, she is all of us.
But this review can’t be complete without addressing the a-hole in the room. Landon’s ick factor might just have you reaching through your device to punch him square in his brain (not the one his shoulders because it does a crap job of managing any of his impulses). Here we get to step inside his head (bring your hazmat suit) and suffice it to say, yeah, no. He is a lout through and through. Daisy does a great job of not only letting us seeing that he is a to-the-marrow-narcissistic boor, but that the people who love him will only go so far in accepting it. As the kids say, “Bye boi.”
While Up to You is considered a standalone, I implore you to read the other books in the Love with Altitude series to get the full effect of these characters. Daisy has done a brilliant job of ensuring each story is unique and at the same time weaving them together to allow the reader to appreciate not only the love stories, but also the friendship between the Heroines. Funny, smart, honest and supportive individuals, these are women we aspire to be and have in our lives.
Up to You is still calling to me…. I love getting lost in Daisy Prescott’s books and Up to You was no different, every element of this story just made me happy. It’s exactly what I needed. Happy reading!!
Up to You is the fourth book in the new adult contemporary romance, Love with Altitude series by Daisy Prescott. Each of the books in the series can be read as standalone contemporary romances. I read, and really enjoyed the third book in the Love with Altitude series, Wild For You. I also really enjoyed Daisy's Wingman series, so I knew that I was going to enjoy Up to You. Daisy is a feel good contemporary author that never fails to put me in a better mood. and Up to You did not disappoint.
I will be the first to admit that I am a sucker for anything involving a wedding at the moment. I mean, I always have loved a good fake relationship/need a date to a wedding book, but now that I am actually planning my wedding, I am extra excited about wedding storylines. (go figure!) Up to You is the story of Mae, Landon and Aiden. Yes, there is a love triangle going on in this novel, but it was so much fun. I love a good love triangle, but if you do not, then this might not be the book for you. Landon is the wild guy with a wild reputation to match, and Aiden is his sweet brother. I am a sucker for a good guy, so it should be no surprise that I really favored Aiden in this story. I like Landon, but up against Aiden it was no contest for me.
Other than the romance, Up to You is full of great humor and lovable characters, two things I have come to expect and appreciate about Daisy Prescott's romances. Mae and her friends were great. We get to see more of Mara, Zoe and Sage. I love this type of series set up for contemporary romances. I really love interconnected standalones, where we get to watch the love stories unfold for a group of friends because I love to revisit characters and check in to see how they are doing after their main story is complete. It's so much fun, which is the perfect way to describe Daisy's books. They are so much fun to read. I need to go and read books 1 and 2 in the Love with Altitude series because I have thoroughly enjoyed books 3 and now 4. This is a perfect summer romance series. If you haven't read these books yet, you are in for a treat. Be sure to give them a try!
The absolutely perfect summer read, Up to You is Daisy Prescott at her very best, once again pairing together love and humor seamlessly! This charming and extremely witty book showcases Mae London, the only single member of her closely-knit group of girl friends. Faced with the upcoming wedding of her cousin Twyla, Mae is suddenly paired up with Landon Roberts by her meddling mother and Mrs. Roberts. What ensues is the often hilarious yet very tedious job to make Landon date-worthy in 6 weeks time even as Mae finds herself wanting the 'better' Roberts brother in older brother Aiden.
Right from the start, I found myself literally laughing out loud at the sharp banter between Mae and her besties, always finding the most inopportune time to say what is on their minds. Not to mention the ongoing 'brotherly love' between the oft-inappropriate Landon and the more refined Aiden. Mrs. Roberts has her hands full with these two and their bickering like children was truly hysterical. With Aiden acting like Landon's own personal Cyrano de Bergerac, winning Mae's heart suddenly becomes a serious battle of wills and I was more than hopeful the more worthy brother would come out on top.
With Mara, Zoe and Sage already spoken for, Mae is more than ready to find her happy but time will tell whether or not she can finally have the man she has harbored a crush on since high school. I really loved Aiden with his fierce independence and casual confidence. He's the complete opposite of his crass younger brother and his ease at being with Mae, whether kayaking or sharing a laugh at a rugby match, made their undeniable chemistry abundantly clear.
With a few surprises in store for this eclectic and loyal Aspen crew, and every single character from the Love with Altitude is present and accounted for I'm happy to report, Up to You is pure delight from beginning to end. There is an understated enchantment to this and most of Daisy Prescott's work that I can't help but adore and there is nothing better than being able to laugh and swoon while reading a book. Up to You combines both emotions beautifully and I look forward to more in this wonderful series.
Whether you like to lounge by the pool or curl up on your couch in front of a fire, Up to You is the perfect, feel-good romance to have with with you. It checks all of the boxes for a lighthearted, fun read; it’s full of hilarious one-liners and shenanigans, authentic friendships and is a down-to-earth, relatable romance.
This author never fails to give the reader the full sensory experience in her books. The setting becomes a character and the reader is transported on a trip to another place every time. Add in a sassy heroine, two very different brothers, one quiet and unassuming and one who makes you cringe and laugh at the same time, and strong female relationships and you have a well-written romance which will have you smiling the entire time.
Up to You is the fourth installment in Ms. Prescott’s Love with Altitude series. It’s about Mae, a sassy, smart woman who is making a change in her life. She’s moved back home to Aspen after discovering that working the 12-hour daily grind isn’t for her. She wants to work for a greater purpose and is on her way to doing just that, but is having to make some sacrifices. They way Ms. Prescott writes this romance keeps the reader guessing. There are three POVs in this book, one is Mae’s and the other two are the Roberts brothers, two guys she grew up with before she moved home. They are both very different and the author had me guessing for a while who would be her love interest.
Not only is this a fun, sweet romance, the female relationships were wonderful to experience. Scenes with Mae and her friends made me smile and I love their banter and jokes. The wit, sass and inappropriate jokes used in the book were perfect.
Up to You is one of my favorite books in this series. You don’t have to read any other books in the series to enjoy it. It reminded me of the perfect Hallmark movie - it had me smiling and swooning at the same time.
Mae London is the last in her group of friends that's single, much to her mother's dismay. Her mother has decided that Mae will attend her cousin's wedding with her good friend's son, Landon Roberts. Mae is not happy about this turn of events, but she's willing to go along with it if Landon can keep his ride comments to himself, and basically act nothing like he normally would.
Landon never has a shortage of willing women. He's willing to attend the wedding with Mae, after all, she's one he hasn't bedded yet and this is his chance...or so he thinks. He needs his big brother's help to become less of who he is, and more of someone who Mae wants.
Oh my, Mae! I loved this girl. Smart, sassy, sarcastic and quick witted. She made me laugh out loud several times. I loved that she didn't completely get sucked in by Landon and give into him. She was completely honest with him and didn't let her mother get away with too much in that respect.
Aiden was the complete opposite of his brother Landon. He wasn't arrogant and cocky. He started out helping Landon try to be better, but he knew that wasn't really his brother's goal. I had a lot of respect for Aiden, willing to step back and let his brother have a shot if that's what he truly wanted. I felt that Aiden was just an amazing guy, and I was rooting for his relationship with Mae to develop. I had some good giggles at Mae trying to figure him out and her theories on his current situation.
Oh Daisy, you've done it again. I envy how perfect the writing is. Every part was seamless and flowed with ease. I loved the banter and quick wit of all the characters. Three points of view was a little different but that made this story all the more interesting as well. I highly recommend picking this one up for a super fun, quick read!
Mae is dreading her cousin’s wedding. Its going to be just another high society Aspen party. What she doesn’t count on is her mother’s insistance that Landon, the town’s local manwhore, be her date. Knowing that this will be bad she braces herself for the worst and hopes for okay. When Landon’s brother, Aiden, comes back to town she finds herself wishing he was the one taking her to the wedding. As their lives keep colliding so does the sexual tension of years past. Will Mae survive the wedding fiasco or worse fall for her ideal man?
I adored this book. I love this series and Mae and Aiden’s story was a fantastic addition. It was fun, romantic and sexy. Daisy Prescott had me turning the pages faster and faster to find out what would happen next. The love triangle between Mae and Aiden and Landon was just the right amount of drama. As Mae and Aiden fall into each so does the reader. You feel everything they are feeling and every romantic gesture Aiden does will make even the most stoic woman swoon. The setting of the mountains of Aspen and the wild and crazy crew help set up the romantic comedy with laughs and loves. You will love the story between Mae and Aiden but you will also love the outlandish things Landon says even when he knows he shouldn’t. Be prepared there is quite the twist at the end you may not see coming. If you haven’t grabbed a Daisy Prescott book, I’d recommend this series as one of her best.
It’s the fourth book in Daisy Prescott’s Love With Altitude Series! It’s still so fun for me to explore Aspen, Colorado, the home of my cousins. My Mom grew up in Durango, CO and I have other cousins spread across the state in and around for Denver as well. This time we get to know Mae, who is the last of her friends to find true love, and it may be driving her a little nuts. Her hilarious inner monologues as well as her no filter spills when she is nervous make you want to be her best friend. She tried life in LA, but has returned to her home trying to make a life close to the snow powder she loves to snowboard on and to find a job with soul where she can give back. But then, her least favorite thing in the world threatens to drive her over the edge of a cliff. A wedding. For her cousin. Worst of all, her mother obligates her to attend with Landon Roberts, the guy who has tried to bang every girl in town. She reluctantly agrees, and has no idea of the adventure and end this wedding will take her on. It’s so worth it. Who would have thought a Roberts could have a chance to win her heart?
Welcome back to Snowmass, Aspen! Up to You by Daisy Prescott is the fourth book in the Love with Altitude Series. The previous books are Next to You ; Crazy over You and Wild for You. While connected, every book in the seires can be read as a standalone. Zoe, Sage and Mara are best friends with Mae. While the friends already found their HEAs, Mae ´s still single. And when she´s set up with the date from hell she´s not amused. Landon Roberts is a man who will leave you speechless. He doesn´t have flaws, he´s a big flaw all by himself. I will not spoiler here, only so much I read about the guy and I my jaw hit the flor, I couldn´t believe such a character would exist. My dislike for him was a huge one. Mae´s and Landon´s parents are part of "The Aspen society " and they want the families connected. And then Daisy Prescott saved my day with a ft.big, rough and scruffy surprise. Thank you so much for giving me Aiden!! Because now the fun part starts. They´re simply perfect for each other. Aiden and Mae keep their relationship under wraps, but Aiden has more secrets that threaten to destroy them. Up to You is a great read, extremely well written with characters I could easily connect with. Up to You is the perfect summer and beach read. I give stars.
A bittersweet and brilliant ending to The Love With Altitude series. Up To You was so funny and such a great story. I absolutely fell in love with Mae and Aiden.......and even a little with Landon. I'm not sure how other love triangles work out in books but this one was so well done. I simultaneously was hoping that both of the Roberts brothers would be the right man for Mae. Landon was sweet and clueless and I found myself really hoping he'd redeem himself and Aiden was just....everything! He was rugged and smart and considerate. Also, my first book hero who was a river guide. Which I now have a deep appreciation for. Every part of the story flowed and was well told. All of the past Aspen characters were present and continued to add laughter and heart. I will forever wish that Sage, Mara, Zoe and Mae were real friends that I could hang out with. Daisy writes the best friends....and also, the best men! I will definitely recommend this book and the whole series to everyone I know.
I ABSOLUTELY loved this story and the cover is amazing! I've had the pleasure of reading a couple of Ms. Prescott's books and I thoroughly enjoy her writing. Her characters are well written and diverse. I got a big kick out of Mae and her sassy attitude, especially when it came to certain types of straws at certain types of events. And the relationship she has with her "girls" is really strong and something that I love seeing. As women, we should always be lifting each other up instead of tearing someone down. Now, I want to read the other books in the series so I can learn more about these amazing women and the men they love. And, let's not forget about Aiden! I think we all would like to find our own Aiden in todays world. He is kind, thoughtful and not douchey at all. He tries to help his brother, but sometimes you can't help someone that doesn't want to be helped. Make sure you grab this one as soon as you can, so you're not disappointed.
**Honest review voluntarily provided from a Complimentary Copy**
As ever Daisy Prescott does not disappoint. Her heroine, Mae, is sassy and real and her leading man, Aiden, is witty and drool-worthy.
Mae is single much to her mother’s despair and facing the dreaded family wedding. Her mother and her mother’s friend Mrs. Roberts decide Mae needs to reunite with high school flame and man whore Landon for this wedding. Landon’s older brother in back in town and he and Mae have some serious chemistry but she thinks he has issues thanks to some misleading information from Landon and they resist each other for quite some time. Add in Landon’s fascination for the bride to be and you know there are some hijinks to be had in the mountains.
With amazing humor and easy to read style you do not want to miss this one
I received an ARC of this book for an honest review. I love anything written by Daisy Prescott, and this book is no different. Aiden and Mae are an absolutely enchanting couple. Aiden is mysterious, while Mae is outgoing and full of joie de vivre. They have a great group of tight-knit friends in their corner. Their interactions with their respective parents is amusing. I smiled through the entire book. This is yet another winning book by this author. if you're not reading Daisy Prescott, then you are missing out.
Such a fun surprise! I had thought (not sure why) that this book was about Mae and Landon and was skeptical that he could ever be redeemed, or at least be Mae-worthy. SO glad when it became apparent that it was someone else she was meant for. Love tale with two people who knew each other growing up falling in love as adults. Set against the Aspen scenery, complete with meddling mothers, the girl gang, and double meanings, a fantastic read. This was an ARC, but be sure to pick it up when it hits.
