You know you are screwed when the blood turns black… Travis had warned me of that for months, but seeing it drip down your own arm was different. Dangerous. Fascinating. Just like this Owen guy and ‘The Rose’. I had been told arriving here was a death sentence, instead their leader is more than happy for me to be there, to join his army. I just need to be trained up first. Yes, trained, because Owen doesn’t kill those who have turned. This Owen guy knows what he is doing, and he’s going to take us into Abran’s headquarters, right into the massive warehouse where he creates his army, and if that gut wrenching feeling is correct; is where Bridget is. ...and maybe even Cohen. I’m trading my bed rail for a gun. I am ready to finish this. Lex and the others are about to find themselves in a whole lot of trouble… This series is now complete! It's time to finish the hunt and save the world. This book has been expanded and lengthened as of September 2020.
Rebecca Ethington has been telling stories since she was small. First, with writing crude scripts, and then on stage with years of theatrical performances. The Imdalind Series is her first stint into the world of literary writing. Rebecca is a mother to two, and wife to her best friend of 14 years. She was born and raised in the mountains of Salt Lake City, and hasn’t found the desire to leave yet. Her days are spent writing, running, and enjoying life with her amazing family.
This series is awesome and creepy as hell! In this segment Alexis and Travis have to fight their way to Bood Rose! From Alexis's point of view that isn't very hard. She has become a badass chick on her way to ascending! We haven't figured out what exactly that means yet, but she's on her way. Help arrives in the nick of time and after some tension and a knocked out Alexis they arrive to Blood Rose.
Though Alexis tries hard to control her anger and her beast, Owen knows about her and she becomes his key piece in the game.
I love that Alexis finally is able to get Cohen's drawing tattooed on her! Done by no other than Owen! Which she was unaware of at the time.
I really do love this series, but I don't like how short the segments are! I just want to get on with it! I want her to hurry and find Cohen! I need to know how it turns out!
This author’s pen did never yet dissapoint me. Plot is written so well that we fly trough pages without realisation of time (note to herself: never start a book after 9pm). We learn alot of new informations in this book. Alexis is simply amazing, no Tar/Ulama can beat her. Give the girl the bed rail and she will save the world. The biggest fight is yet to come. Even if some must fight with themselves, inside of them. Even if some must fight not to gave up on themselves either. Others need to try to keep calm. And even if we have still so many questions. It’s just great continuation of the serie, to which I’m completly hooked.
I love the trail of possibilities Rebecca has made for the final part of the story! The new characters add dimension to this already amazing story! The characters evolve into new, powerful and increasingly ready for the inevitable fight that lies ahead.
This book is a clean read. Anyone who likes a strong character facing unbeatable odds will enjoy this book! #stayinthelight
Still a cool, interesting read full of action and suspense! Creepy, deadly creatures too! Lex and her brother, Travis, are still trying to get to Blood Rose for help stopping evil guy, Abran, but things of course have been super dangerous! Plus, Lex is still worried about Cohen, and Travis about his wife, Bridget. Love the depth of connection between each of these two couples! Lex is becoming a total kick-butt lady too! Loving this series!
This book is so amazing and ties up so many questions and when you finish all you can think is "I NEED MORE". You are so drawn into the story at this point that all you want is to know what happens to the characters who have become your favorite and how does the story end!!!!!
It was action but was leaving me wanting more i want to know how it ends. This book was a little on the short side. If I wasn't addicted to the author and subscribed to kindle unlimited i don't know if I would have bought the book.
Meh…more of the same from the last book. Running from the creatures called the Tar… that is all. Thankfully these are short. It’s good enough for me to see how it ends.
