Wastelander Panda: Exile is one of those rare graphic novels that feels both wildly original and deeply archetypal. Set in a broken world where survival and morality constantly collide, it follows Isaac—a warrior panda exiled from his clan—as he searches for redemption amid the ruins of civilization.
Victoria Cocks, Wolfgang Bylsma, and Skye Ogden have created something visually stunning and narratively rich. The artwork is gritty yet poetic, perfectly capturing the mix of brutality and tenderness at the heart of Isaac’s journey. The pacing balances cinematic action with quieter, emotionally charged moments, giving real weight to themes of loyalty, loss, and the cost of forgiveness.
What impressed me most is how Wastelander Panda manages to blend myth, western, and dystopian storytelling into something uniquely its own. It feels like a legend unearthed from the ashes of a world we’ve forgotten—and one that lingers long after you turn the last page.
Highly recommended for readers who love post-apocalyptic worlds with heart, moral complexity, and breathtaking art.

Quite an if-y and disturbing story. I had no idea this was a part of a show when I read it, which is probably why this comes across more of an introduction then a full plot. Judging the graphic novel on its own, this story just felt lacking.
