This is an unpublished story and it is very good. I am always baffled how there are so many unpublished gems hidden away on FF sites while utterly vile pieces of excrement end up for sale on Amazon.
In this fairly long and quiet involved and complex tale we are asked What if Darcy married Anne deBourgh. Now before you scream and cover your eyes and say "la la la I can't hear you " There is a real twist .... what if instead of sickly Anne deBourgh we have a healthy, vibrant, outdoorsy, impertinent, young lady with 'fine eyes'. Or what if as an infant or a few days Elizabeth Bennet was kidnapped from her family is Hertfordshire and was never found. ANd what if this unknown infant was used by Lady Catherine to convince the world that she had given birth to the deBourgh heir.
What I really liked:
How Lizzy Bennet was transformed into a young lady of the first circles. Anne is a true amalgamation of Lady Catherine & Lizzy; teasing and impertinent; yet not comfortable with the lower classes. Also the author manages to remember that her name is Anne throughout the entire story which is impressive.
How the loss of a child significantly altered the Bennets for the better.
How they handled the reveal.
This is definitely worth reading.

This was a story that was very creative. I loved the writing style, the flow of the wording, the leading us through the struggle of Anne de Bourgh Darcy learning that she was not only adopted, but had been abducted from a loving family.
Basically, she was still ODG [our dear girl], regardless of her name. We see the same personality and the ability to have an influence on those around her. She even made Lady Catherine laugh. She and Darcy had to get together. I don’t think the author would dare not put them together. Their chemistry was just too apparent to refuse them. I loved the interplay between them. I was amused at how Darcy gave her a Season and stood by and watched her navigate the ton.
This was a bittersweet story. You knew there were going to be hurt feelings, disappointments and embarrassments. The confrontation between Jane and Anne/E were really poignant.
The Epilogue was delightful and was something I had hoped would happen. It was so cute.
Rating: PG-17 in that it was steamy with their wedding night and scenes with a married couple.

Unique and creative plot.
I gasped in horror as the story enters with Darcy and Anne de Bourgh's wedding night. It was however quickly revealed that Anne was infact the long lost Elizabeth Bennet.
Thrilling storyline as the secrets of the past was slowly revealed. It was a bit too slow for me though and it dragged occasionally.
Rated: T.

Very Different Premise
Others have written detailed reviews, so I will forego doing that. I really enjoyed this story, liking the unusual premise. The usual proofreading issues that exist in unpublished works are evident, but this is one of the better unpublished books I have read. I usually prefer to see deserved comeuppance for those who do dastardly deeds, but I appreciate the author’s logic in writing her conclusions. Recommend.

This is a fan fiction that I'd read previously but was reminded about by seeing it again on Goodreads.
It's Pride & Prejudice based and starts with a scene which may seem very off putting to JAFF readers - Darcy has just married Anne de Bourgh and is very happy about it, as he is pretty besotted. However, don't be put off by that - stick with this one.
I don't think this has ever been published. It's a really interesting storyline and I haven't read a similar variation.

It started out great. I loved the twist.
And I can't believe it took me almost 5 chapters to get it. There was even a clue in the first chapter! I felt stupid when I figured it out.
So I like the first half of the book.
But the rest is just boring. I didn't feel much of anything after the first half of the book. And the character's that the author loves are not my favorite really.
Aside from the premise ( which was great) nothing much stands out in this book. I can't recommend it. It is not bad or anything, but there are better fanfictions out there.

In this P&P variation, how far will Lady Catherine de Bourgh go to produce a daughter who will become the heir of Rosings. Didn't really take to either Anne de Bourgh or Darcy, though the story was enjoyable
