I Love Me Some Him
Fifteen-year-old Marisol was what most would consider different. Unlike most of the girls her age, she was more focused on her studies than she was the boys. Being the result of a teen pregnancy between a stripper and a drug dealer, all she wanted was to finish school and become a successful lawyer. That is until she crossed paths will Luke.
Luke is an up and coming basketball superstar who sets his sights on the reserved beauty. The young couple falls hard and fast for one another. Just as quick as they fall in love, though, life begins to throw problems their way. From skeletons falling out of her mother's closet to having to deal with insecurities and unfaithfulness, the young couple is unprepared for the hurdles thrown their way.
A few years pass and while they are both living out their dreams, they are still struggling to accept that their relationship is no more. Luke finds comfort in a variety of women while Marisol finds it in her bosses son. Even though Derek is not her ideal suitor, Marisol still finds herself drawn to him like a moth to a flame.
Luke realizes that he will never be able to share what he had with Marisol with another woman. He is determined to get her back, no matter it takes. When it is all said, and done, though, will Marisol end up with her first love or will she continue to move on with the new man in her life?

Puppy love
This storyline started off slow and it took a long time for the story to get interesting. I see it’s a series and I’m gonna continue it but the characters are so undeveloped I thought once Luke and Marisol grew up they would change but they’re practically the same hopefully parts 2&3 are better

The title speaks for itself
Omg where do I begin with this book! Luke n Mari relationship is awesomei love the bond they share the understanding the love,everything,about them is great... of course they have they ups and downs like most relationships but they always seem to bounce right back.. I don't think Marisol is weak what so ever she just has a big heart n care for the ones close to her heart.. Erin and Jalen relationship has been sweet since high school lol that's real high school sweetheart love there but Adrianna n Tae relationship, smh I don't know what to call that I was waiting until the part came about him beating her, but I see that they just hve a very strange relationship.. I hope Derek is out of the picture cause I'm rooting for Luke even though he got a son it wasn't planed but I understand... look if I go on I'll tell the book just go read it I promise you won't b disappointed!! Ash Ley, girl, good job you don't great for your first book looking to read many more!

I Love me some him
This was an awesome read. The title says it all. Marisol and Lukes story is the true definition of love. I really like love stories that take you through all the phases from puppy love all the way to true love. That makes for a true bond when the couple actually discovers and grows together. It's not rushed. They have a true bond. There are ups and downs along the way, but they get through them together. I can't wait to see where the story leads me in part 2.

Excellent book
I really enjoyed part 1! Ash Let is very suspenseful and I am dying to know what Maritza got caught up in that put Marisol in danger!!! I loved how it went from a romance aspect to an urban aspect and I definitely recommend this book! Now to read part 2!!

Crazy good
This book is like love & basketball meets true to the game. Anthony ain't ish. Mari was making me mad with all her running from her problems. I love her and Luke's love for each other. Love like that is rare. I've got to find out what her moms deal is. Adrianna needs to leave Tae alone. That ending was crazy. I can't wait for part 2

This is my first read by this author & i must say this book is very good. Marisol & Luke needs to get it together before they both lose each other for good. I can't believe Anthony tried to kill his own daughter over something her mother did i can't wait to read part 2 to c the outcome of this

So good
This book has so many twists and turns especially towards the end. I loved that we got to see the beginning of the Luke and Marisol's relationship. I can't wait to see what Maritza has gotten herself into.

The story rooms in so many directions, I wanted to get off this ride and say okay. Then the story started to get a little more content and then I started to hope for Marisol to get a break. This one is making me crazy. Let's see what happens next.

Just wowwww the ending is insane!
I love the love between marisol and Luke. I won’t say that I love the relationship because they both had room to grow but the love between the two of them is amazing. I love how the title goes with marisol’s and Luke’s story as well as marisol’s mother and father. The ending made me look at the mother with new eyes which sucks because I actually liked her. Derrick was like a breath of fresh air until he made me mad. I’m on to book two to see how things turn out.

Okaaaayyy!!! This book was the first one that I read of this authors. I literally recommended this book to everyone I know. This version is the rereleased and I noticed how much her pen grew. I love Marisol who has the same insecurities that we all have, ya know, people see beauty in us but we point out our chubby stomach and what not. Luke is bae. I smile every time he finessed her like he was finessing me. Sheesh!!

Where do I start???? Omg this book is everything!!!! Marisol and Luke are made for each other I just wish they’d realize it and quit playing with other people’s feelings. I love the way the author tells a story and I like how relatable the characters are. And poor Adrianna, I hope she recovers well. I’m looking for part 2 now. I just gotta know how the story unfolds.

So I'ma need Luke and Marisil to get themselves together. All the back and forth between them and then making it messy by adding other ppl in the mix. I wouldn't be surprised if Derek's ass goes crazy on her and Anjuel goes crazy on Luke. Her girlfriends are funny and something is definitely up with the mom, Maritza. And the damn father😡🤬 coming from waaaay left to destroy ish. Gonna read part 2

The suspense builds at the end? While I thought Marisol was very emotional throughout the book, it gave the reader a glimpse into how life and love takes you on an up and down rollercoaster. I'm so confused by Anthony and Maritza's relationship. It makes no sense in book one, but I hope there will be a reveal in book two. Will Luke and Marisol be a couple? What happens to her friend? One thing is for certain, the love between Luke and Marisol is undeniable.

Page turner
I thought this would end with a happily ever after but Anthony threw a monkey wrench in that thought. I’m pretty sure he the head kingpin that’s out of site. But I don’t like him at all. I feel like the baby could have been Luke’s since I’m pretty sure he met her in Mexico. I def can’t wait to read part 2.

Speechless... These characters, OMG are just amazing and at the same time quite interesting. Marisol and Luke had that puppy love. It could've gone far, I believe... but as the time has passed I'm not so sure. 😢 The ending?! Soooo sad! I wanted to cry. Author Ash Ley has a way with words! I need more! I can't wait to read Part 2! 😱 it's so much unfinished business and holes that need to be closed! 🖤
