Captives of Stilox #3

Conquering His Captive

Rate this book
Three years ago, nanobiologist Cassie Myer was tricked into helping an enemy of her planet's government complete an important mission. When she is suddenly contacted again by the same handsome, boldly dominant seducer, she promises herself that she will not fall for his charms a second time, even after he rescues her from an even more dangerous adversary.

Fane has loved Cassie since the day he met her, but loyalty to his cause has kept him from claiming her... until now. With her unique skills in urgent need among his people, he is left with no choice but to compel her cooperation, even if that means stripping her bare, spanking her thoroughly, and then teasing her beautiful, naked body until helpless, desperate arousal forces her to surrender completely. But will Cassie stay by his side once she is no longer his captive?

Publisher's Note: Conquering His Captive is the third book of the Captives of Stilox series. It includes spankings and sexual scenes. If such material offends you, please don't buy this book. Also note that an earlier version of this book was previously released by another publisher with the title Sorcerer.

Good book. Great story. It's been awhile since I have read a book from this series.
This book centers around the 2 MC'S from 2 different worlds. Fane, hot Fane, is a mutant and leader of the mutant underground. Cassie is from Protaria and pretty much the enemy.
Fane hasn't seen Cassie in over 3 years. Now he's rescuing her from her kidnapper. And Fane refuses to let her go this time.
Their relationship is still explosive and the chemistry between them is so hot!
Mature audience only.

Good edition to the series.
Again it can be read as a standalone but to fully understand you need to read the rest.
Lost a couple of start for the abrupt ending (I think the next carries straight one though 🤷🏼‍♀️) and the story was a little winding in places and would swap between people and places fairly often which can make it a little hard to follow at times.

Another Blockbuster

She has done it again ladies. Ms. Ivy is totally awesome!!!!! This book picked up from book 2 and has given a lead into book 3 and I have to get it. If you haven’t started this series yet, you’re missing a great world.

I’m glad everyone had fun and I enjoyed reading about the drama with each character. Cassie has a way of feeling way too much and I think Fane has a better way of getting to their relationship and I love how everything is happy with each other.

Same side of the coin

Fane and Cassie should be enemies but they can't resist each other. Although from different sides of the struggle, they find they have similar goals - to care for the people they care about.

Love Fane. His idea of passion includes sneaky seductions, aggressive possession, and a whole lot more. Cassie's negotiation tactics were the perfect foil for his agreements.

Very convoluted plot and ended abruptly which is why it got 4 stars instead of 5.

This is the third book in the Captives of Stilox series and it is still going strong. I would not recommend reading this book without reading the first 2 books in the series, as this is a continuation story but focuses on Fane (the leader of the Mutant Underground and ally of the Stilox) and Cassie (daughter of Chancellor Howyn). Fane finally has an excuse to contact Cassie (well he actually rescues her from Max - the mutant that kidnapped her at the end of book 2). Fane and Cassie met just after her husband died and they have not been able to forget about the other. There is plenty of horizontal action as our rebels try to track down the missing humans, try to cure the deadly side effects of the mutations, and stay one step ahead of the Chancellor. The story makes for a great sci-fi read with a side of naughty. The book does not end on a cliffhanger per se, but the story is not complete and has a 'happy for now" for our main characters.

I received a copy from Stormy Night Publications and I voluntarily reviewed this book.
