While I found this helpful, again my daughter got the most from it. Even though there is a difference between our skill levels, it is a useful tool for those wanting to know more. After thinking about it, we both decided the best way to utilize it would be in paperback form.

Comprehensive

With clear examples the author describes the proper syntax used for data types. He goes through sizes of variables from literal and constants to showcasing exponential functions.

The material is clear and concise. This book should be kept handy as a reference.

Very basic

An easy introduction with nice, simple example. Nothing as detailed as online tutorials. Was helpful to summarize the first few chapters of pther , more detailed c++ books.
