Sylvia Fox writes steamy stories about alphas who aren’t afraid of taking what they want, and the women who love them. Each release is a stand alone with a guaranteed happily ever after. Cliff hangers and brooding angst won’t be found here — Sylvia prefers a man who delivers a good spanking and a diamond ring.
These are 4 great stories. They were all reviewed separately, so I just brought all the reviews over to the collection.
MENTOR ME, PROFESSOR. This is a great short story with an older man and younger women. Gotta love those kinds of books. :) I voluntarily read an Advanced Review Copy of this Book
RESCUE ME, RANGER enjoyed this book. one of my favorites of Sylvia's. This is a steamy, sweet, short love story that starts out not so sweet. But will love conquer all? You will have to read to find out.. I voluntarily read an advance reader copy for my honest review
SAVE ME, SEAL I am pretty sure this one has been my favorite so far. I don't know what it is about this story, but I loved it. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book. The opinions expressed are mine alone and freely given.
PLAY ME, COACH I think this is my favorite one. Great read, sexy as hell, wonderful characters. Would diffidently recommend. A must read and have in your Sylvia Fox collection! I voluntarily reviewed this book after receiving an ARC, but would happily buy and recommend for friends.
Overall this box set is a bargain. Two of the books had good beginnings and endings but were filled in with repitious sex scenes. The other two were good stories with romance throughout.
What is better than 1 Sylvia Fox Romance book? A collection of 4 Sylvia Fox Romance books. In Alpha Silver Foxes, you are rewarded with a College Professor, a Texas Ranger, a retired Navy Seal and a College Basketball Coach. Each Alpha falls hopelessly for a young woman that falls just as deeply for him. Sylvia knows exactly what to write to draw her readers in and hold their attention to the very last word. She leaves you almost desperate for more. Luckily, she has quite a few more mind-blowing books to choose from.
I'd caught the other books in the box set for free, but liked them enough to buy them in a set. It's my first time reading RMR, and I didn't like it as much as the others. I think it was mostly the plot, and I didn't care one way or another about the main characters either. The secondary characters were great and had a really southern charm to them. If I had to choose, they were my favorite part.
RMR differed from the other books in the box set in that the age difference was smaller between the H/h and how the couple initially met. In the others, the men were the fathers' best friends or, in PMC, the best friend's father. Also, the women were younger and still in college, usually sophomore or junior year.
I still liked the set and would recommend giving it a try.
Read the first of these stories and found it just made me feel really uncomfortable. I am not a prude, far from it, but this just made me cringe so I decided not to read the other books.
