At the end of Side A, I was leaning more towards #TeamSawyer but by the end of Side B, I became 100% #TeamNoah. Noah and Mel gave me life! Life! This book has reiterated what I have always known – it takes more than just sexual chemistry to make a relationship classic. At the end of Side A, you could feel the sexual chemistry from Amelia and Sawyer yet craved the connection of Amelia and Noah.

I promise you, I want to be loved the way Noah loved Amelia.

The writing of this book was so brilliant, I almost was like, “Sawyer, who?” But of course, you could never forget Sawyer.

This book took me on an emotional rollercoaster and it will do the same to you as well. Trust your girl on this one. There is still a good chance I’m still on that rollercoaster. Just An Illusion knocked me on my ass and please sit down and let me tell you why. I’m going to start with Amelia.

Let’s be honest here folks….

When was last time you read a book and never had a single moment of frustration or hatred towards a female? It’s okay, I’ll wait……………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………I’m done waiting. You couldn’t find one could you? That’s because before Amelia, that didn’t fucking exist.

Yassssssssssssssssssssssssss! Amelia was my girl. And her BFF, Belle, I could just eat her up. I wanted Belle to be my best friend too.

Amelia knew the rock star life style in and out, she grew up it and was ready to wash her hands of it. But when you find yourself in love with a member of hottest rock star out, you can't just walk away. Something kept her there, with these men, with the band, in the rock star world, and that one thing was love. But that love came at a cost. The angst, the pain, the heartache, the confusion, it all became her life - again.

Her parents had of the most dramatic and classic rock star marriages in history and she didn't want to be anywhere near it. Their untimely deaths weighed heavy on her heart and she never healed from the loss of them. She feared love like it was the plague. No matter how hard she tried to fight it, rock star love was in the cards for her and she was brave enough to take the plunge. Too bad she had no idea it would lead her into her own dramatic, rock star affair.

“My dad would have liked you a lot. You’re exactly what he always wanted for me.”

“How do you know?”

“He used to tell me to find to a man who valued me more than his passion in life. He said that’s where he messed up with my mom. He thought he could balance both of his true loves equally, but he was never able to find the balance. You’ve never seemed to have an issue finding balance, Noah.”

– Amelia and Noah

Amelia had to be one of the most selfless women I’ve ever come across in my life. She was willing to sacrifice her own heart to save the hearts and relationship of brothers, twin brothers to be exact. If she had to leave Noah to save his relationship with his brother, I believe she would have done it in a heartbeat.

There were many times in Side A that I questioned Amelia’s true feeling when it came down to Noah vs. Sawyer. The girl even says it herself. But when shit hits the family, this woman never leaves her man’s side and you have to respect her for that.
I may be in love with his brother, but Sawyer is still one of the best-looking men I’ve ever laid eyes on. – Amelia

“People shouldn’t keep secrets, Sawyer. Secrets only bring hurt.”

“Like you don’t keep secrets. You never told Noah I propositioned you on the bus.”

“Alright, some secrets are better to keep because the end result can hurt more.”

“And that’s why I can’t tell you. It would hurt too much.”

– Amelia and Sawyer

This scene crushed me! I can still feel the pain, it’s still so fresh. I’m going to say anymore about this one because you need to feel it for yourself.

Sawyer has that kind heart that anyone with half a soul wants to heal, that’s what drives us to him. He is a man with deep rooted internal scars that only the love of a real woman can ever mend. That’s what made me #TeamSawyer in the beginning and to the end of Side A. It was like, you could not only feel the chemistry between Sawyer and Mel, you could also see how given the right circumstances they could fall in love. Now, looking back to Side A from the reality of Side B, I’ve realized that as much as Sawyer needed Mel to fix him, he could never fix her. There is only and will only ever be only one man who can help Amelia mend, to face her own demons and that is Noah.
“Pick me, Amelia. I’m a selfish bastard, and it will tear my brother apart, but he doesn’t need you like I do. I need you, Amelia. You’re the only one who has ever brought me to life.” – Sawyer

But women need to be saved as well and this book takes us on an extremely emotional journey of that process that we, as readers may not be able to get over.

Who’s saves who?

Who’s loves who?

Who’s meant for who?

OMG! My head is still spinning days after I’ve finished this book and I’m still on this fucking rollercoaster of emotions. I haven’t been able to heal yet. I know for damn sure.

Exhibit A: A recent conversation with my husband…

Me: I just don’t know what to do with myself.

Him: Why? What’s wrong?

Me: I’m still trying to come to terms with what just happened in the book I was reading.

Him: Oh, okay.

Me: Seriously, is that all you have to say?

Him: Ummm…..

Me: Well, at least I have my Facebook friends I can talk about it with. Haven’t you ever read a book that had you in your feelings?

Him: Yeah, I just never needed a support group to get over it.

Me: Kiss my ass!

Him: I would love to.

**********************************************

I almost completely forgot that there is another man involved here, Eli. He’s our clean cut boy band from back in day and also Amelia’s first love. I won’t go through too much detail about his right now but he definitely adds some extra flavor and angst into the mix. The feels!

“She looked at me, her eyes filled with tears.

That I wish I could unsee.

Why?

She screamed.

Because I’m a bastard and I’m sorry but you’re still my everything” – Eli

I’m telling you, this girl must have some kind-of magic pussy because everyone and anyone was falling in love with her. She had these men dropping at her like flies.

I wish I could go through more details about this book but I can’t without spoiling it for you. I know I don’t normally give two fucks about that but with this series I feel it is my job as a bloggers to give you this experience for yourself.

But that cliffhanger had me pissed the fuck off but after speaking with the author I found out that this book is more than me and my feelings. Just An Illusion is personal for her and I gained a new respect for cliffhangers. I still hate them but she gets a pass on this one.

Lord is my witness, this book is the truth and if I don’t get my HEA for Amelia and Noah, I am not liable for my actions. You don’t lie after you say, “Lord as my witness!” Did you ever hear OJ say, “Lord as my witness?” No, he didn’t go that far! He said he didn’t do it. He hired Johnnie Cochran. But he didn’t ever say, “Lord as my witness!”

I can’t say that you shouldn’t read the book because of the cliffhanger, I asking you to read it because of. This book is more than just bunch a words that tell a story, it’s beautiful words that created a masterpiece.

Hang on to your hats ladies and gents! This is one emotional ride!

description

Just an Illusion - The B Side is the second book in the Illusion trilogy, so please keep this in mind when you sit down to devour this book! You should definitely read Just an Illusion - Side A first (because it's awesome!) and because The B Side picks up where Side A left off.

This book is heavy on the feels and at times you will be riding the highs, but oh, there are some truly heavy lows too. Prepare yourself for the swoons (#TeamWeston for the win!), steam (still fanning myself here), and some heartache too (Noooooooooo!). I really loved the mix of playfulness and lighthearted banter (LOVE the Weston and BAD family) and the angst and mystery. There are some truly epic surprises in this one too! Forgive my vague wording/review, but trust me when I say that you want to experience these moments from D. Kelly on your own.

I could not put this book down and finished it in one sitting (Yes, adulting was ignored and children *may* have eaten cereal for dinner, but they understood that this book could not be ignored! Hahahahaha!) The B Side was a slower burn for me, really fleshing out the characters and what drives/motivates them. You get to know all the characters better and get to meet some sweet new additions as well. The wait until June for the final book feels torturous and bittersweet, but I know it will be worth it!

Whew!! I feel like I’ve just been on a ride of my life and I’m still wondering what the he*l just happened. This is a hard review to write without giving anything away from Just An Illusion Side A and believe me you if you haven’t you want to grab this one and read it right away because you don’t want to miss out on one of the best rock romance books out there. Ms. Kelly puts you front and center in the lives of the members of the rock band Bastards and Dangerous (BAD). This book…this series…draws you and doesn’t give you a moments peace because it takes you emotionally, has you possibly choosing sides of twin against twin, and shocks the he*l out of you. This is a book you better have time for because once you start, you won’t want to put it down. So do yourself a favor and grab this outstanding book and begin it with reading Just An Illusion Side A. Prepare yourself for a cliffhanger to end all cliffhangers but oh, it’s so worth it.

I received this book as an ARC for a freely given and honest review.

I adored this book. I absolutely love this series. The author does end these books with painfully dramatic cliffhangers. 'Cause trust me, she will get you THAT involved with her characters. She's just that talented. You love them so much that it's just PAINFUL not to know what happens next to them. So I'm sitting here writing this book review sobbing, with my children looking at me like they are considering which adult home to farm their mommy out to, all while I'm just waiting to find out what happened to my people.

Looks like I'm going to be waiting till June *SIGH*

WOW! I finished this book a week ago and I still am having a hard time putting into words just how much I absolutely adored it. This book is a roller coaster of emotions and I am still reeling from how it ended. D. Kelly crafted a truly amazing story full of deep relationships, well-rounded characters and some of the most extreme twists that I have ever read in a contemporary romance book! This is a book that I HIGHLY recommend!

D. Kelly has officially made it onto my favorite authors list! Her writing is addictive and refreshing. Her talent as an author and story crafter was even more evident with this installment. The B Side begins right where Side A left off, which I am sure all readers will be happy about because of that HUGE cliffhanger at the end of book one. I can’t say much about the plot since there are some major spoilers, but I will say that readers will not be disappointed with the direction that the second book takes.

One of my absolute favorite things about this series is the characters! I LOVED seeing how much these characters have grown and evolved from book one. D. Kelly has a gift for creating characters with dimensions that have histories that make each one unique. I also love the relationships amongst the characters. D. Kelly never had to tell readers about the relationships these characters shared, it was always shown. The love, whether it was friendship or family, flowed off the page. They all banded together and were a tight-knit group, which really created a special element to the story.

The romances in this book were epic! Like I said in my review for book one, I love that this series has multiple romances within it and I was invested in each one. I love seeing how these characters overcame their insecurities and opened up to accept love. Again, I can’t mention too much about the romance since it would contain spoilers from this book, but just know that it was done perfectly.

I have to say, this book blew my mind! There were so many twists and turns that I did not expect and THAT ENDING! When I turned that last page, it felt like I had been slapped across the face! I know a lot of readers don’t like cliffhangers or like to wait for all the books to be released before starting the series, which is why I am mentioning it within my review. This series contain some of the most epic and mind-shattering endings ever!

I LOVE this series and can’t wait to see what happens in the third book! D. Kelly has created a stunning, beautiful story that is full of heart-break with a lining of hope. I would HIGHLY recommend this series and I am going to be devastated when these books end. However, I am looking forward to trying something different from this author in the future.

Holy shit! What a continuation! Mel and Noah are total relationship goals. He still is the sweetest, most swoonworthy book boyfriend. I can't put these down and am wondering why it took me so long to discover this trilogy! I love how these books aren't centered around one couple even though it is told from Mel's POV. You get lots of Belle and Darren as well as the other guys. It's just so well written and sucks you in. This ends on a cliffhanger way worse than Side A. I am still reeling from it. Grabbing some tissues and continuing on with the conclusion, EP.

As you get to the end of this book - which btw ends in another massive cliffhanger!!! things are starting to make sense in this triangle of relationships. Now I get why there is a team Noah, team Sawyer and why the author has written everything to be somewhat guarded (in my opinion) I knew there was a missing piece as to why I couldn't get on board with teams - so yes...this doesn't make much sense but I am betting the 3rd part of this story is going to bring it all to where I need it to go!!! Because everyone is about to be pummeled and I love a good rise from the ashes story!!!!

After the way book 1 ended I couldn't wait for this book to come out and get the continuation of this story between Amelia, Sawyer & Noah.

I very rarely truly love a heroine 100% I did with Amelia!!! She was true to herself, fierce, loyal & kind. She would do anything to spare Sawyer and Noah any pain or heartbreak. And holy shit am I in love with these brothers!! Book 1 I had a crush, book 2 I'm now in love & im nervous that book 3 will turn into a full blown nutcase, lol.

Each story leaves you with more questions than answers but, I wouldn't have it any other way. I'm normally not a cliffhanger type of a person but, in these books I genuinely don't mind it.

There's so much emotion and ups and downs that this book takes you on one hell of a ride from beginning to end and I can't wait till book 3 comes out!!

After that cliffhanger there was no way I wasn’t gonna head to the kindle store and get the next book.
So I’ve just finished the B side and I’m now just staring at the last page in shock.
The entire book was filled with Noah and mel’s fast paced love life and to be honest there was barely any drama or parts I wasn’t expecting. I was still hoping maybe sawyer would take Noah’s place, though I’ve gotta admit I was conflicted over this. Noah is the ideal husband so I wouldn’t want to see him hurt but I can’t imagine how juicy it would be if sawyer had the chance to properly move in.
So the book goes along at a soppy sometimes slow, not a lot happening here, pace until bam. That cliff hanger blew the previous one out the water.
I was on the fence about the rating I was gonna give. Throughout, I had a solid 3.5 stars in mind and was a even considering ending the series at this book. But by the end it’s without a doubt a 4. Devastated to say the least!
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.

Even hours after I finished this book, I see myself without words.
D. Kelly always do this to me. She delivers one sweet love story and at the same time she will rip your heart off. Every single time!

There's so much going on in this part of the story.
You will swoon, you will laugh, you will cry, you will stop breathing on that last page.

NOW, IF YOU REALLY WANT TO ENJOY EVERY SINGLE WORD OF THIS STORY, YOU WILL NOT READ THE END OF THIS BOOK FIRST. I MEAN IT!

After that terrifying end of Just an Illusion - Side A, life goes on. Mel will spend some life altering moments with everyone beside her while continuing writing BAD story.

I have so many questions, there's so much I need to know, yet after this story I'm afraid to even know them.
What happened?!
Why this ultimatum?
I'm so confused... I need Just an Illusion - EP - Coming June 21st 2017, like I need my next breath!

Be prepared to be amazed! The Bad group is one big family, and true to a family you will have your ups Seriously, hold on, an amazing story! Amelia's a writer who gets a chance of a lifetime, follow rock group Bad, on their last tour, and write their book. Members of the band, Twins Noah and Sawyer, Darren and Wyatt, all think she would be perfect for writing their story. You will have love, hate, there is drama, sadness, probably shed some tears, some many feelings, this story will truly touch and pull at your heart ❤️! So cannot wait for part 2!and downs, and there will be so many feelings shared, some unspoken, some will remain as secrets. Noah and Amelia have admitted to having fallen for each other, there will be so many exciting new surprises, some unexpected, some may not be, but as all their family comes together, everyone shows how much they love each other. There are other exciting couples with things going on, Darren and Belle. The band being on tour there is always something going on, so get ready, you won't want to put this down, and get prepared to be amazed!!!!!

The book starts right where Side A left off. Something shocking has just happened and Amelia and all the guys have had to face the consequences. We see the aftermath of that event and how they all deal with it. Be prepared to laugh and to cry because many things happen here as well and will leave you breathless when you reach the end, which, thankfully for my poor heart, isn't the very end since we get a #3 book in June.

In this book we see a completely different Mel. It seems like being with Noah is changing her, and although I didn't like some of her choices, she is a pretty strong character. Noah is not my piece of cake, but I understand where he comes from. I am not too fond of Noah and Mel's relationship much because I think he is too possessive and too good at times, but reading the book I understand WHY the things that happen to them have to happen. It is hard to talk about that without spoiling you the book, so I won't. ;)

This book showed us a new side of Sawyer, which is, hands down, the character I came to love the most of the series. He is damaged, but he tries to be true despite it is difficult for him to hide his feelings for Mel. We see how he tries to cope with Noah and Amelia's decisions. I wish and hope we see even more of him in Just an Illusion - EP (or Unplugged?) which is the 3rd and last book of this series. I love his relationship with his twin brother Noah so much and I know that his twin is aware of what he is doing for the sake of his relationship with Mel, but seeing Sawyer as the only BAD member without a woman is tearing my heart to pieces because I can relate. My biggest wish would be for him to finally find someone he loves IF this trilogy won't resolve in his favor with Amelia.

Like Side A, we have bits told by Amelia in the present time and in the past. Now I realize why she has to write the story: something life-changing happened in her and BAD's lives that needs to be told because otherwise she won't be able to figure her feelings out for the "him" she's exchanging emails with. We are still in the dark about who "him" is and I have a theory but I won't talk about it because otherwise I would need to spoil the book and I don't want to.

This book frustrated me in a good way more than Side A. I am seriously a mess right now, incapable of thinking about anything else besides the story and the characters. When you believe things are going like you want, the author is able to show you that life isn't always generous. The theme of fate is thrown a lot in the book because of Noah's character. I am skeptical as to believe it does exist or not. I think that we are the creators of our destiny and that despite everything that happens in Amelia's life, she will be able to go on and give herself another chance at love. I still have hope for her and Sawyer! :P So I will be waiting for the last book of the Just an Illusion series with impatience. <3

*** I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review ***

Just an Illusion - Side B is the second book in D. Kelly’s The Illusion Series, and I was so glad we didn't have to wait too long to get the next instalment in Amelia, Noah and Sawyer story.

I was desperate to know how it was all going to play out for Amelia, Noah and Sawyer as at the end of book one I had questions that I wanted answers too. Now I will say while I did get some answers of course now because of the way this book ended I have been left with more.

I’m not going to go into the story, but what I will say the book is well written and I like that the author gives us a lot more background on what happen during their time on the road. I did appreciate that and like it as it builds up the story and helps us get to know the characters more, however, at the same time I was thinking just tell me what happens.

Let's just say patients wasn’t my strong point during this book. Ha-ha Also, I didn't realise until about 80% that there would be still another book to come. So I knew a cliffhanger was coming and wow, what a cliffhanger it was as one part was so unexpected.

After reading the first book I had said I liked Noah, but there was something about Sawyer that makes me like him more. However, I think after reading this one I still like Sawyer, but I like Noah more now he thinks the world of Amelia. I do feel for Sawyer, as you can’t miss the chemistry between him and Amelia.

“How can I feel so much for this man I’m not in a relationship with? Sawyer is a wonderful friend, but there’s so much of something between us lying beneath the surface. It’s not only attraction….it’s deeper than that.”

I'm eager to read Just an Illusion - Unplugged #3 and just glad that June is not too far away. If you are a fan of rock star romances and like stories with some angst, drama, and you don’t mind love triangles and cliffhangers then this book, but only after you have read book one.

4.5 Heart Ripping Stars

This installment starts right after the ending of The A Side. Mel, Noah, and the entire BAD gang are back and have to get through the emotionally devastating and tragic events that happened at the end of the last book. They will all need time to physically and emotionally work through the scars that are left behind.

The members of BAD are family and they have embraced Mel and Belle, and it looks like Eli will be around as well. This is new for Mel, but she's embracing it.

All I can say is "Why am I reading this again?" Not because it's not good, it's great. But it's ripping my heart out. But waiting for the final book is going to be excruciating.

I'm still waffling between which brother Mel should be with. Sawyer is breaking out all new dimensions to his personality, which makes me want her to be with him more and more. But Noah is a great guy as well. He's safe though in a lot of ways. He's the perfect guy, thoughtful, caring, considerate, encouraging. What more could you ask for? I think Mel is great when it comes to compartmentalizing her feelings for the brothers and making sure she doesn't go beyond the boarders of what could be considered appropriate when it comes to her interactions with Sawyer. Though her relationship with Noah seems perfect, there's a connection she has with Sawyer, which I believe would be electric.

I'm even conflicted over her relationship with Eli. After what he said to her about the past, I just want her to fall into his arms and make the past all better. Which if you knew me, you would have the face of wonder and amazement. I'm the last person to go back. That's actually my mantra... Never Go Back.

It did take me some time to remember who the players were in this book, as it's been several months since I read the first installment, and there are quite a few characters.

There are some great moments of good times for the crew, but there are also some very low moments. Emotionally it's killing me.

If I loved it so much, why didn't I give it a full 5 starts. Well, mostly because it felt like it dragged just a bit. I think it's because they had to spend so much time recuperating after the events of the last book. Also, Mel reconnecting with Eli, etc. The time was needed, it just took some time to get to some of the meatier parts of the story for me.

I'm looking forward to Just an Illusion - EP

Sweet little Jesus!!!!!

That series is getting better and better! Ohhhhh, all these feels! I'm so excited for you to find out what's happening in Side B!

I will NOT go into details, will keep this totally spoiler free.

Side B is so, so romantic and full of love. The felling you get when you're experiencing the friendship and bond of family and growing personalities.....

Dee Kelly has a way to create a connection to the characters that's just so real and makes you feel included. It's like you're part of the bunch.

The BAD guys, Mel and Belle will so grow on you, I swear you'll miss them when you're finished with this part of the story.

For me the best part was, that Amelia changed so much. She is more trusting and so positively different. All she felt, I felt. The love, the guilt, the sisterly bond to Belle, the conflict about some things that are happening.

And Noah...yeahhhh...he's just too good to be true. There's nothing I could write that would be proper to describe this man!

Sawyer...he's still my favorite, my beautiful broken loving caring swoonworthy guy. I hope he gets what he deserves!❤

I said it before and I say it again: If you loved the Thoughtless series and can't get enough of this kind of story, YOU HAVE TO READ JUST AN ILLUSION SIDE A and SIDE B!!!! ASAP!!!

I hope you will not read spoiler laden reviews. Please go in blind!

If you've read the first book, you know how it ended and Side B will pick up right where we were left in shock.
I loved this part even more than the first and can't wait for June to continue Amelia's journey.

Now that I'm back at a normal heartrate and my tears dried out.... sigh..... I had an awesome time, enjoyed every minute from the first to the last word (or almost).
My emotions were tested here. This year is going to be a fabulous one with all these incredible books I'm honored to read from such very talented authors.
And Dee Kelly is definitely one of these!

Brace yourself for all that's to come and it doesn't matter what you're expecting....at the end it's all JUST AN ILLUSION!❤

Just an Illusion by D. Kelly is book two in the rock star romance.

The book picks up right where Just an Illusion Side A left off, and deals with the aftermath of the accident.

WOW this book blew me away, the book already starts with a rocky start in the beginning between all the character. While the story progresses, the characters get there ups and down and shocking surprises. This book gave me a lot of emotions, between giddy to full on shock. Amelia has evolved in this book, she is no longer closed off and second guessing herself so much. Sawyer shows his caring and generous side which makes you fall in love with him. As for Noah, well you should read the book and see what happens to Noah after book 1.

D. Kelly wrote a rock star romance with a lot of depth, as the band has more to them the just being rock stars. What I loved about her writing is she is always able to shock the reader, when you least expect it. As a reader, your reading Just an Illusion Side B and things are going happily for the characters and then suddenly they face a downfall. The author was able to make the lives so realistic of the rock stars, from the crazy fans to real life possible rock star romance.

I would recommend this book for anyone looking for rock star romance full of surprises.

Must read Just an Illusion Side A before this one.

Freaking devastating!!!!!

Just when your in reading bliss BAM!!! Did that really just end this way??? And I can't say what happened because I don't want to ruin it for other readers but let's just say I am ugly snot running crying. My heart just skipped like ten freaking beats. I love this series so much and I devoured this book. This writer can definitely keep this avid reader hanging on for her next word, paragraph and chapter. I mean its left me with the shakes and a tear streaked face. Just abso-ftreaking-lutely brilliant!!
This whole set of characters in this series is just a beautiful thing to read and unfold. This book definitely has lots of love, family, hot sex, babies h yes "gasp" maybe plural. It also has some new additions and some loss. Such devastating loss that will break your heart in two.
I am not going to go into characterization of each because I don't want to give too much away. So I am going to let you as a reader decide and guess what YES READ the frecking book. Seriously just dope AF!!
So my hat is off to D. Kelly just brilliantly written and can't wait until freaking June 21st. #fanforlife while I impatiently await until then.
Thanks Jamie Nibarger Ellis

Just an Illusion –Side B by D Kelly

5 star review

Reviewed on behalf of 2 girls who love books blog

First thing I will say is this book cannot be read as a standalone! I was so excited when this arrived on my kindle – I absolutely LOVED the first book – it was one of my favourite reads of 2016 so I couldn’t wait to dive straight in. I have to say that there is a distinct possibility that I now need therapy! This book was out of this world! Hands down one of the best books I have read this year! I loved Noah and Sawyer in book 1 but now that’s just multiplied! Mel and Bella were their usual selves; they kept the book funny, especially Bella with her slammed updates! I just really loved all of the characters in this story even the more secondary ones! The story carried on with a nice pace, and was superbly written but then the ending came – OMG I was not prepared for that!! I read it 5 times before it actually sunk in (I’m not sure it has either) - talk about unexpected! My husband thought there was something wrong when I kept saying no repeatedly and then burst into tears!!! One thing’s for sure I am counting down the days already until June when the next book is out.
If you haven’t read this series then you definitely should it really is outstanding and this book just totally blew me out the water! If I could give it more than 5 stars I would – it totally deserves it!

THIS BOOK!! Oh.My.Days!! Dee Kelly you are just a little bit of a genius aren't you? You only went and put together this deliciously evil emotional roller coaster of a book that whipped me up into a frenzy and sent me on one hell of a journey with those Weston boys!!

I remember I was totally #TeamNoah all the way through Side A but I've always had a major soft spot for Sawyer as if I could switch to #TeamSawyer in a heartbeat. It's so wrong of me but I really wanted him to have that little bit of happiness with Mel but I also couldn't take the heartache it would cause.
You might just experience every emotion known to man in this book...it's possible that my little literary loving heart swelled with love and raw emotion during this read. My poor heart, I'm not sure I can take the wait after THAT ENDING!!

I just can't talk about it.....and not because I'm still recovering from a major book hangover (which of course I am, why wouldn't I be? I just had my heart ripped out, torn up and smushed - but I'll be fine, I'll get over it I'm sure;) so no, not because of that but more because I just won't spoil it for you, you need to go in blind and experience all the feels without knowing what's already been written out on the pages for you. Turn those pages and cling on to that book and curse at Dee, I'm pretty positive she might just be expecting that

Wow!!!! I don't even know what to say because I absolutely do not want to give away any spoilers. Just like book 1 though I can tell you that this book had my heart in my throat the ENTIRE time as well!

I couldn't put it down and as hard as it is to believe I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE these characters even more than in book 1!

My emotions were running high after book 1 and this one was no different. I am still on the edge of my seat because I have to know what is going to happen in book 3.

What are you waiting for! This is a must read book for sure!- By Alisa

I had to take a few days to gather myself after I finished reading this book. The way my emotions were all over the place made it impossible to write a review. Once again, D. Kelly gives us a story with characters that grab you into their lives, making you feel like you’re a part of it.

We start off where Side A ended, but this book goes from present to past, as Mel is telling the story. We live with her all the emotions she has for the brothers, Noah and Sawyer. We walk with her in her search of happiness, having love for both of them; yet knowing only one will eventually win out.

Again, these characters take us on a journey where friendship, love, passion, and honesty are the essential aspects of their living. So much happens and we’re all in the middle of it.

I can’t say much without giving away the story because there is just so much going on, but I will say that the way it ends, that cliffhanger…yeah, I wanted to strangle someone. I was in shock and can’t wait until the next one comes out. I NEED IT NOW!

This story, this series is everything! You MUST read Side A first. Side B picks up right after Side A and it will make no sense unless you read it. Plus you meet the BAD boys and Mel and Belle (which I just realized rhyme) and just immediately get sucked in!

I told myself I was going to bed early last night. Yeah I shouldn't have started reading this book then because I HAD to finish as soon as I started. This was a book that I was reading at work and then I got 73% in and I didn't want to finish because I didn't want the book to end. That's the mark of a good book; you want to read it as fast as you can but at the same time you want to make it last because you don't want it to end.

And just 1 phrase to wrap up the book: that cliffhanger though!! I can't wait for the EP!

I received a complimentary copy of this book through Crazy Cajun Book Addicts for an honest review.

OMGG!!!! This book has left me totally speachless, it's was amazing!!!
It picks up right where we left off in A-Side and takes you on an emotional rollercoaster as the band and their family come to terms with everything that's happened and hopefully move on to much happier times.

This is a pretty hard review to write as I feel everything I want to say will give you a major spoilers so all I'll say for now is this is definitely a must read trilogy and it must be read in order. It's going to be a very long few months waiting for book three but I'm almost certain it will be worth it!!
