I tried to like the book, I even made myself read the whole thing - which wasn't easy tbh. The characters did not grow at all during the story. I kept rolling my eyes at their dialogue with each other AND with themselves. (Spoiler Ahead:) And I found pretty ironic when Kelsey thanked Mason for making her a better person - or something like that - when she obviously still was a naive spoiled selfish girl, who excused Alan's awful behaivor.
