When we watch the news, our hearts break for a world in need. But Christians are not powerless to help: we can pray. In fact, that's exactly what God tells us to do: "petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving [should] be made for all people" (1 Timothy 2 v 1-2). If we're serious about reaching our local community with the gospel, the first thing we'll do is pray.

Brilliant and scriptural based prayers. Simple prayers that can be prayed by Christians that want to know what to pray for when praying for the world. Would recommend this ebook to all Christians who believe that prayer is an effective way to show love to others and to deliver them from evil of this world .

I’m really enjoying this series of books. It includes 21 different topics to pray for broken into your community, your nation, and your world. Every prayer topic has 5 things to pray for that topic, along with a passage of Scripture to guide your prayer time. A really excellent resource to make my prayers more biblically centered and to pray for things I might not think to pray for.

A good book as you can choose which sections to read as they are all individually independent of each other. Each chapter deals with a different subject and can be used over a week or a who;e chapter on one day.

I found this to be the least helpful prayer guide of this series. There were several sections that were so situation-specific (ie. praying for those affected by a natural disaster) that it didn't fit well with the way I use the books.

Gives examples of how you could, based on Bible passages, pray for the civic good of and salvation of people in specific areas of your community, nation, and world. Good devotional to help guide prayer. Would recommend.
