I haven't read a paranormal book in awhile because I've lost my fascination for them, but Wolf Me Baby is everything a good paranormal book should be: it's super sexy, it's sweet and got a few twists, but it's not so heavy on the paranormal part. River is a successful paranormal author who is signed up for a month of personal fitness training by her best friend so that she can feel good about herself in her bridesmaid dress for said best friend's wedding where River's douchebag ex will be present. Her trainer turns out to be an extremely hot guy named Nicholas, and River is instantly attracted to him. When she and Kayla, the best friend, run into Nicholas and some of his friends at a bar, it's the night River's life will be turned inside out as she finds out that the werewolves she writes fiction about aren't just something she writes about.
I really like Wolf Me Baby. KB Winters and Evie Monroe bring the heat and passion that I always expect from KB, it's well written, and Nicholas and River are a great couple! I am really looking forward to more of this series.

Unfortunately, DNF
Unfortunately, I quit Wolf Me Baby at 13%. Three stars for the best friend, editing, and fairness to the authors. I didn't read the entire book, so I don't know if the problem I had with the book improved. I didn't read far enough to get to know Nicholas, so I don't know how he was as a H.
River really turned me off from this book. I don't like whiny and complaining h. She's always comparing herself to others and complaining about what's wrong with her and how this type of man wouldn't want her. I just couldn't keep reading that over and over.
I'd still be willing to read more from these authors.

Abrupt Non-Ending
It wasn’t very well written. It ended without ending. What the heck? She was supposed to ask him about the back of her neck and never did. They were mates. Did they stay together? It was like the author just got tired of writing and stopped. Maybe she got bored with the story, too. The whole thing felt like an offshoot of another series. Other people in the story turned out to be shifters. In fact, most of them were shifters. The heroine and her friend were the only ones who weren’t. The guy who was her ex and someone she was with for five years was a shifter, and she never knew. Seriously? Not very believable.

Amazingly well written story. No disappointments here. River is a very shy woman who is trying to comes to term with her break-up with her exboyfriend Zack. She feels it just may be time to rebuild her self esteem that she lost when he broke up with her with no explanations as to why. She lives her life as a writer of paranormal romances about werewolves. She has several books out already and is now working on her 4th installment but she just cant' seem to get into the story quite yet. When her friend Kayla decides to help her get back to herself, she purchases her a month pass for a personal trainer at the gym. River isn't quite sure if she really wants to go through with this after seeing what they woman that walk into the gym look like. She feels she is too frumpy compared to those Barbie look a likes. She figures no time like the present and decides to take those steps into the gym to meet her personal trainer. Nicholas is a very sexy alpha male that has many secrets he keeps and the chemistry between the two is undeniable. I loved the banter between the 2 of them, it's a type of foreplay. I thought the storyline was well written and loved how it started till it ended. The characters of the story were fun to read and the more I learned about them, the more I liked them. I have read many books from KB Winters and this one is just another book to show how great her writing is. There is friendship, family, action and love all wrapped up into this one book. I would love to see this book be the first of many to come and build on the other characters in the story whether it be Nicholas' friends from the bar, his sister or more of Kayla and Ben. I voluntarily read an Advanced Reader's Copy of this book. I hope you enjoy it as much as I have.

This book was awesome! The hero is an alpha male with a tender/sweet side that just makes him melt your heart and drool at the same time. The heroine had insecurities that were realistic, yet she was still gutsy and fun. Her being an author who writes paranormal romances about werewolves gave this a real fun vibe as she discovers that werewolves do exist and is introduced to the shifter world. Fun read that I wish won't even longer, but it has a HEA ending. I hope the author writes about Nicholas's sister Aleksis in the future.

I shouted "Noooooo!" when I realized I had reached the end of the book. I'd love to read another book featuring River and Nicholas! Maybe, also, a book featuring his sister? I seriously loved this and need more! I need questions answered! You can't leave me hanging!
I have read so many shifter books, I find it difficult to find a unique story. This had that, as well as a number of twists I did NOT see coming! Please, please, please, continue this world! I need more!

There are so many emotions running through this book about River and Nicholas. Conflict, like, fun, hate, distrust, strong friendships and love. It keeps you on your toes. River is a freelance writer that has a lucrative contract for her wolf shifter romance novels. Nicholas owns a gym and has some behind the scene activities that he does for the pack. Loved this book

First time shifter? Well done!
This was a very different shifter style romance. I really enjoyed it and got into the story quickly. Even though Nicholas was a wolf shifter, the story does not revolve around the standard changes and back story. The fact that Robert is an paranormal romance writer of shifter stories who meets Nicholas is a kick in the pants! Love the way this book does not follow the rules!

I can't believe this is K.B. and Evies first paranormal story!
It is totally amazing with a great storyline, well thought out characters, a few shakes of humor, a bit of angst, and plenty of romance.
The interaction between River and Zake was scintillating, to say the least! I hated to reach the end and only hope there are more coming!
I don't do spoilers, you really just need to read this exciting story!

I liked it.
Such a great idea a paranormal writer being in love and being loved by a wolf shifter. The only problem with that Wolf shifter actually was checking her out thinking that maybe she was a paranormal and she was gonna be in trouble for giving away their wolf pack secrets.. I liked the way the book ended too plus great sex and romance in this story.

Wolf Me Baby
I loved it. This book grabbed me from page one & didn't ease up until I was done. I laughed, I cried, (not of sadness), & I had so many more emotions. We should all be so lucky to have the love that was shared by Katy & Ben, & Nicholas & River. As well as a friendship as strong as River's & Katy's. I totally recommend this book. 5 Thumbs up

Let me start of by saying that I absolutely love that the shifter romances seem to honor the fuller figured women, and this was not missed in this one either.
I really loved all of the characters and how it all played out. Another great quick read by this author.

Could have been good, had potential. Needed editing- felt like there were pages missing- heroine suddenly knew information without being told and no there wasn't a telepathy element in this story.

Hot, sexy, with a slightly different twist on shifters, this was a fun book to read. It kept me engaged all evening and the author's descriptions of scent per Nicholas was pure poetry.
