Arson And Intrigue

This romantic suspense has it all, arson, murder, old family secrets and a couple who have every reason not to trust each other. Fast paced and an original plot twist at the exciting conclusion. Highly recommend!

I really enjoyed this book. It was romantic suspense done right. No love at first sight, the romance took a little while to blossom. The characters were well developed and it was well written. The mystery part of the story line was just as present as the romance. My only complaint with the book was that in the end it seemed things got wrapped up a little too quickly and easily. Other than that I really liked the book as a whole, no cliffhanger, and it ends with a HEA. I would be interested in reading the next book in the series.

I won this book from the giveaways on Goodreads.com

This was great Romantic suspense! If you like a good plot along with your romance, this series is for you. This is book one in this series about a small town in Kentucky where tobacco is king. There are murders, cover ups, and wonderful characters in Melody and Ross, who are brought together where trust is hard to find, but love is easy. A slow burn romance that gets better and better throughout the book. An emotional rollercoaster, I can’t wait to read the next book. Really hoping that Mike will get his book soon too!

Just okay

This is the first and only book I’ve won on a Goodreads’ Giveaway, so yay. Thanks for the free copy.

This book was okay, a bit on the long side. Things that worked for me: the mystery, the supporting characters, and the setting. Things that didn’t work: no means no, a person should not keep kissing or touching or doing anything after the other person has said no. I lost respect for the MCs. That’s really too bad.

First book by this author. A well written romantic suspense story highlighting the tobacco growing industry and the corruption in government. Won this in a Giveaway.

Excellent

Very good book hot and steamy. A little mystery kept the story moving along nicely. Can’t wait to read the next one.
