Stoic Practice is a succinct interpretation of five stoic texts. Rather than acting as a direct translation, this book developed through daily exercises. Created in the spirit of a journal, these lessons are for continual study and practice. This text isn't merely meant to be read. Stoicism is a philosophy of action.
I did like that many of the things said were very point blank, but I still felt that a small amount of the advice needed a little more context. Also some of the pages had a very minimal amount t of text on them. Like three lines of sentences. Like if you crushed it all together to look like a normal novel, it might be 60 pages tops. Maybe it was to give each point more impact?
If you are looking for a quick, insightful way to look at your life, this stoic journal will do just that! It's well-written and cuts deep. I highly recommend it. If you look to expand your mind and become more comfortable in the beauty of you, this is a win. It will help you to look introspectively.
