This book concentrates on all of the different battles going on within the couples and with Nicki. There are battle scenes, recovery scenes, and guilt moments. Then Ashburn throws in some “fun” times to relieve the stress of the battle scenes.
Infernal lays the groundwork for what is coming in the next book as all of the crumbs are laid out as well as a new character introduction. Ashburn has planned a heck of a battle for us. Let’s go get Scorched.
