I could hear him behind me getting closer. I could hear him calling my name but I kept going. I had to keep running. I was frazzled and my mind was racing. I was almost there when I heard the terrifying sound from the blaring of a horn.
It was a fluke. I wasn't supposed to be there the first day he saw me, but it was inevitable. There was something between us too strong to ignore. A connection so great you couldn't walk away. Believe me I tried.
No one knew of my pain. No one could sense my struggles. But he knew. He saw what took me too long to see. We were destined. He would be the key to awaken me and I would finally begin to heal.

I loved it
The book started slow and Elena got on my nerves with her belief that she didn't deserved happiness but the love story was beautiful. It made me cry. The devotion of Adam to Elena even though she kept trying to push him away.

Could not put this one down!!!
Even if waiting forever was such a well written story. The characters were so well developed, I felt invested in their futures. I can't wait for the next one!!!!!!
