Fandoms: Wiedźmin | The Witcher (Video Game), Witcher 3 - Fandom Relationship: Geralt of Rivia/Emhyr var Emreis -------------------------------------------------- I had often wished for the chance to meet His Imperial Majesty, of course, but hardly under these circumstances. I’d really envisioned something more along the lines of a command performance for the court, or perhaps a ceremony of decoration as a Master of the Arts.
I've written fanfic and made vids in a really ridiculous number of fandoms. Over the years, I've also used the pseudonyms shalott and the lady of shalott. All my work is available on the AO3 and you can also find me online in various other places.
You are welcome to add and review any of my stories here if you like, and I also love comments at AO3 or any of my other online haunts. I also have a blanket permission policy for noncommercial transformative work of my work (eg, podfic, remix, fanart, etc) -- I love to be linked to anything you do, but you don't need to ask permission.
Fantastic narrative choice: Dandelion voice is perfect, so is the story he tells. It amazed me that I was able to hear Jaskier-Dandelion's voice from the original books in this English language story, even though the author does not know the books. The game must have good characterizations, true to Sapkowski's characters; I will finally capitulate and find time for it myself. ETA: 2019. On the second day of Christmas, Dandelion said to me: "I'm the perfect narrative voice". And yes, like before, I agree completely.
This is lovely. Why? She said it best. Astolat is so very proficient in her excellent, very satisfying use of the unreliable narrator. Not my favorite witcher story, but a very good one.
It's probably a testament to Astolat's amazingness that I'd expected a lot more from this unreliable narrator POV. Interwoven, intricate hints mostly to make this a more amusing read. Instead, I eventually got frustrated being in Dandelion's boring head while the party happened elsewhere. Though the bonus chapter helped some.
