Abigail 'Abi' Carter is a 22 year old virgin who has just graduated from Harvard. Her father is a federal prosecutor who has spent his career putting away terrorists. He is extremely over protective of Abi & her mother. Abi has lived her life with a bodyguard following her every move & reporting back to her father. She is planning a month long trip to Madrid with her best friend Libby before she has to start working for a living. She planned to go to Madrid sans a bodyguard but at the last minute her father hires an ex-special forces SEAL to accompany & protect her & Libby. Harley doesn't want the babysitting gig but the pay will go a long way to help with his mother's medical expenses so he agrees to go. Abi & Harley are immediately attracted to one another but they both keep a fair distance away from each other for a while. Harley tries his best to get Abi & Libby to see their surroundings but all Libby can think about is having fun. Eventually Abi & Harley are not able to stay away from each other. When Harley & Abi find themselves taking a walk on the beach looking for some privacy, all hell breaks loose & Harley's years of training kick in to protect Abi from their attackers. Will Harley & Abi get away safely? Will they all make it back home? What happens to Harley & Abi when they return to the States?

Be warned this book ends at 9% (idk if the rest is complete novels or just teaser chapters for other books. I wasn't taking a chance to find out) and the font is huge plus it's got old school double spacing between the lines.
It was just an okay story, nothing extra. And an annoying BFF. There was a sweet epilogue.

I likes this. He was hired to protect/ babysit her and her bratty friend. She didn't really think it was necessary, just wanted out from under daddy's watch and maybe lose her vcard. He's definitely fighting the attraction but the heart wants what it wants, ya know? Short, sexy, with a little suspense.

This was a quick, exciting read. There's enough suspense and danger to keep the reader guessing, but the focus is definitely on the forbidden attraction between Abi, the sheltered virgin and her ex-navy SEAL bodyguard Harley.
Abi has spent her whole life in a bubble, protected by bodyguards and shielded from the evils of the world. Her father is a top prosecutor for the government and responsible for putting high profile terrorists behind bars. There are often threats on his life and his family’s safety is constantly at risk.
When Abi and her bestie book a trip to Spain, they think that they finally are going to get to enjoy some freedom, but reality quickly comes crashing down and her father insists that Harley follows their every move.
What Harley expected on this assignment, was to make some quick cash following a spoiled, little rich brat around Spain, what he didn’t see coming at all was for him starting to have feelings for the beautiful, young, naïve virgin.
I loved this book. I think it’s my new favourite from Rye Hart!

I thought that this was a pretty good book, a bit anti climatic for me. There was some serious angst going on in there but I feel like it was more focused on the chase and very little on the catch.
So we have Abi and Harley, Harley is a mentally scared retired navy seal who has come home to care for his ill mother so when his seal brother calls him about a job he takes it even though it is not his idea of a good time. He takes on a job to be a bodyguard to Abigail who happens to be the daughter of a high profile prosecutor, her life has always been threatened and she has pretty much grown up in a bubble. She is still a virgin.
He tries as hard as he can to resist but in the end he gives in to her.
There is action and a a snappy best friend. I was a bit upset at the fact that as soon as they decide that they care for each-other the book basically just ends.

Another winner for Rye Hart. I really loved this book. Rock Hard Seal is the story of Abi and Harley. Abi is a 22 year old virgin whose father is a federal prosecutor who has sheltered Abi all her life. Harley is former special forces, who is haunted by his service and the loss of his friends, and he has been hired by Abi's father to accompany (and protect) her and her friend Libby to Madrid. The first time Abi and Harley met sparks flew between them. While in Madrid they grew closer and Abi's life is threatened. This is book is full of twists and turns, thrills and suspense. I could not put the book down. This is a great book and I would definitely recommend it.

This ‘book’ was a waste of time. Other than it ending at less than 30%, the typos and grammar errors were a little distracting. Story was pretty predictable and there didn’t seem to be any genuine buildup between the main characters.

Good story but I don't need the sneak peeks
As always I like her writing style. It's adventurous and bold. Like short bursts of excitement. Most of the stories at the end I have already read more than once. But some are worth a reread. The once about the Prince just got better and better as it sped toward the end.

The build up between the two characters was exciting and hot ... their chemistry so unique. I enjoyed the suspense, although a little short. I only wish the ending was more eventful.

How much can a Rock Hard Navy SEAL take before he lets go. Another good book by Rye Hart. This is a quick read about an ex-navy SEAL , Harley, that is hired to protect a rich prosecutor’s naïve daughter and her friend on a trip to Madrid. Abi has been sheltered all her life and has a body guard with her at all times. Never having had any time to herself she is looking forward to this trip, without a supervisor (body guard) At the last minute her father gets threats against his family and insists that someone go with her for protection. She is not happy about this, but after seeing Harley, she warms to the idea. Harley has ghosts in his past and won’t let himself open up to Abi. Things quickly change when danger presents itself and Abi sets her “lose the V-card” seduction plan in action. Fast pace read with HEA and no cliffhangers.

Harley thinks he's been hired to basically babysit a spoiled rich kid. When he meets Abi he is attracted to her but keeps his distance. As time goes by he finds that she is so perfect for him he starts falling for her, She has been trying to get his attention almost from the start, not realizing he's already hooked. When someone starts shooting at her at the beach one day, Harley has to save her and get her back to the US.

This is a steamy, fun read with some suspense, and danger that made this a page turner. Abi has always led a safe protective life and wants some freedom. While on a trip to Spain with her best friend Abi's father hires Harley a bodyguard to follow them around and keep them safe. Harley thinks he'll make some quick cash and see Spain never thinking he'd fall for his client Abi. A quick read with an HEA, no cliffhanger and twists and turns that made this a must read. I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Harley and Abi were perfect for each other. He needed someone to soften his heart, and she needed someone to see her for the woman she was. This book had my undivided attention from page one. Highly recommend this book.

Loved to read a book where you get to know the story from both characters point of view.

Why the hell is there a beach in Madrid??? I understand is a light read, and I love this kind of books, but come on... A little bit of research please... Madrid is the capital of Spain, wich is in the middle of the country, so unless there is some beach on the manzanares river...

Good short read. Was expecting to read the bad guys got caught. Glad Harley got what he wanted! Glad Abi ventured out from underneath her dad!!

I hate to do it but I have to give this 1 star l. Constant grammar errors. And I'm all about insta love but this was a bit much, and frankly I just finished it last night and can't even remember how it ended so yeah definitely a 1 star.
