Fun read with spin on the genre

Reading fantasy can feel like the same stories in the same worlds. This series puts together fantasy characters and a struggling urban area, while actually developing the main players into culpable, relatable people. A great read. Check it out.

This series continues to be entertaining and fresh. The stakes have been rising with each book. I'm still excited that it's set in Detroit.
