I think one of the beauties of studying hamlet is that every idea can be questioned and is somewhat open ended for every reader/viewer to decide upon, and some study guides point this out and generally leave these ideas up to its reader. for the most part, this one doesn't. but I don't think that takes away from how well put together this one is! I like how it's structured to fit every part of the mark scheme, though at times there are grammatical errors I noticed or mistakes as to which character said what in its scene summaries. so. If ur a student going into this already with knowledge of a majority of the play's themes and critical attitudes towards them and just looking for some extra consolidation , this is great! if going into it with no previous knowledge, there might be a little struggle. borrowed this from my college's library and there was def a feel that it would have been better had it been a virtual experience, w references to other guides on the website or summaries to read online, but I couldn't find the author's site online. in class I had always been told that productions / critic quotes came off stronger in essays than just the general 'from a feminist perspective...' but I like that this guide really works hard to show how to apply these perspectives in essays strongly!
