Pin the Tail on the Romance time! My TBR list is at 439 of 1474 books, so I spun the magic random number generator app to get book #173: Wicked Lovers Bundle by Shayla Black
Why Was This In My TBR:Got it on sale and it has been languishing in my TBR ever since
Is It Part of A Series: Wicked Lovers novellas (7.75, 9.5, 11.5). Iwas happily surprised to find the hero of Pure Wicked is Jesse McCall, the guy who lost Kimber to Deke in Decadent.
Rating: All three novellas have panting, growling alphas who are all over their women almost from first sight. My favorite is probably Pure Wicked where incognito rock star Jesse has to convince country baker Bristol that his insta-lust is real insta-love (the dude proposes marriage in literally days). My favorite hero is probably poor misguided alphahole Nick in Dirty Wicked who basically extorts sexually Sasha, his friend's struggling widow, to keep her free from his lusts and past - the guy has been lusting after his friend's wife for so long that he can barely function. My least favorite was billionaire Jason's emotionally stunted marriage to police officer Gia - both of them needed to grow up and use their words; sexual chemistry can only do so much.

Learning the man responsible for Sasha's husbands death is the same person responsible for framing Nick they decide to work together to find the man responsible.
Nick has never forgotten Sasha and when he sees her again all those feelings he had before come front and center again. He knows he wants her and needs her. But will she fear that he is using her body for payment for his help or because he actually wants her.
After securing Sasha's daughter in a a safe place Nick and Sasha embark on locating the evidence they need. With only a key and a cryptic not her husband left her they must race against time to outwit the bad guys before they are killed.
When good and evil finally face off who will win? And will Nick win Sasha's Heart?
I really enjoyed this novella. There wS just enough intrigue and intimate moments to keep your heart racing. Another win in Shayla Black's Wicked Lovers series.

So much delicious wickedness ... What a great collection!
FOREVER WICKED
This is a very emotional and compelling read about a couple struggling to find their way back to each other. Both characters are endearing ... Jason for his alpha male nature and his desire to protect his wife, no matter what, and to provide for her every need, and Gia for caring so much about her family and putting their needs above her own.
Even though it's a novella, it has everything I look for in a great romance novel.
I really loved it and wish it was a full-length novel.

Rock star Jesse meets small town girl Bristol, and they fall in a whirlwind kind of love.
Add in some hot love at first sight vibes, some major drama on the rock star's side, and some small town drama on the girl's side, and you have the perfect Cinderella-meets-Prince Charming romance in your hands that you wish was a full length novel.

Shayla Black rocks!
I love Shayla Black's writing. She has great characters who grow on you as you read about them and their relationships are steamy and sexy and pretty damn hot. Very enjoyable read and I liked that I had the choice to either read all three stories at once or spread them over a couple of days.

Looking for three great stories? Well this book has them! Forever Wicked and Dirty Wicked are two of my favorite 1001 Dark Nights stories from Shayla Black! Jason and Gia have an amazing second chance romance! Nick and Sasha have an story full of suspense and soul! I can't wait to start Jesse and Bristol! This is a great deal! Three

Few words need be said --- Shayla Black is one of my favorite authors. She has yet to disappoint me with any of her books. She keeps you glued to the story line and the characters making you wish the story could go on and on.

For a change there was meat around the erotica so that was a plus. However I could finish book two or even start book three. It was ok stuff but not great.

Love these novellas.
I loved all three stories and that we got updates on other characters. All three were complete stories with happy ever afters. I highly recommend this book.

Read the whole series and I couldn't put them down. Needless to say a lit of things got neglected for a bit hahaha. Hot sexy romances in each book. I loved how most of the characters showed up in the some of the other books. It was great to read how they played more into the twists and turns!
