She's done it again!
Hazel Hunter continues to surprise me! Her stories fascinate and draw me in so much that I can't wait finish them. I have to read them without stopping which is a dangerous thing!

Matteo is the eighth book in the Her Vampire Protector series. This book is a short read. It is a standalone book. Violence and hot and steamy sex so definitely 18+.
The book blurb adequately describes the storyline so I'm not going to repeat that all of that info here. The two main characters in this book are Matteo and Natalie. They fell in love at first sight but haven't seen each other in nine years. Can they survive the latest twists, turns, surprises, and their enemies to stay together?

I had the opportunity to read this book the other day and I just have to say I LOVE her writings. The characters are so well put together. This is book 8 of her Warlock Protectors series and revolves around Matteo and Natalia (Natalie). Missing for 9 years and staying hidden, Matteo finally finds Natalie once again and she is NOT so happy to see him because of what happened in the past. You really need to read this series, but again this is a stand alone so you really won't be lost if you haven't read the others, but I recommend you do :-)

This is a really nice read. Wiccan romance, unsolved murders, love thwarted...... it's got all the ingrédients to while alway the tme pleaantly. The plots flows effortlessly, the characters are well developped, it's very well written, what more can you ask for?

Out of the ashes comes a love story between Natalie and Matteo. For nine years Matteo has chased Natalie just missing her by days, only to come full circle and arrive back where it started. The ending is much different this time around. Fantastic add to the series.

If you like stories about witches, you'll enjoy this novel. This is the 8th book in the series and I enjoyed as much as I did the first one. The characters are well written with just enough information to define them, but not bore the reader. The plot is interesting and moves along at a fast pace. These are great stand lone books. I'm looking forward to reading more from this series.

Really great book. I haven't read any of this series before now, but I want to go back to the first one and read the series through! This is a standalone book, so it didn't matter that I haven't read the rest.
As always, the characters are amazing, the ending has a plot twist, and there's tons of action from beginning to end. I absolutely love Hazel Hunter and the way she brings things to life in her books. I definitely recommend reading this book!

Matteo ... dark, sexy, rich with lots of secrets and some very extraordinary abilities which he is not afraid to use. The man has been on a mission for nine years and his search is about to end with the entrance of a beautiful woman. Who is she and why is he after her?
The book is filled with mystery, magic, hidden agendas, secrets and a generous taste of the supernatural, and oh... a very nice dose of steamy romance. Well let's be honest - the sex is hot, very steamy.
As usual, HH's books are filled with the best characters ever, even the ones who occupy space in the darker areas. You will love them all. The story takes some twists and turns. Most likely you will notice you are gritting your teeth or holding you breath frequently and you will love every one of those moments. Once you start, you will not want to put it down! And when you finish, you will want more!!!
This is a stand alone book with not cliff-hangers...only a guaranteed exhale.

MMMM Matteo I think I'd like to meet him.
Natalie a witch who works with a human magician after her parents are killed, was introduced to immortality by Matteo nine years ago right before her parents where killed.
She went into hiding with Conleth taking their magic show on the road. And he's spent the next nine years looking for her.
And now it's time for all the truths to come out.
This story has a HEA of sorts but it would be great to see how pans out for them in the future.
Its another amazing short quick read by Hazel her Magnus Corps guys are all great reads.
Would I recommend this book YES

Natalie has been hiding and running for the last nine years from her past. Natalie allows Conleth to talk her into returning to Vegas for his final show. Matteo has been searching for Natalie for nine years. When she returns to Vegas, he strikes. Now if Matteo can keep her safe he may just might win her heart again. This is a great story with a few twists you might not see coming...

The shows weren't her thing but she did it for Conleth. She would have spent her life hiding.
Unbeknownst to her she had been spotted by not only Jude (a templar) but Naldo who had been part of the Megus corps called his boss, "The Boss" to let her know he had found her. Motteo Monti. He had spent years looking for her.
Love the storyline on this story, full of twist and turns. It was fantastic. The characters are great and well written. If your into Magic and romance then this is your book.

The book is a great paranormal romance with a lot of action too. I thoroughly enjoyed the story and characters. While it is part of a series, it can easily be read as a standalone. It is a well-written story with a pace that keeps your interest but doesn't rush the plot.

This is the eighth book in the series but only the second I have read. It is a standalone and so was the other one. I like that every now and then with a series of books. It makes it nice because I can understand the plot line but can read them in any order.
The two in this series are not the only books I've read by this author. Ms. Hunter is one of my favorites when it comes to the paranormal/fantasy world. This one is like all her others (but with a different storyline). It's a great story with fascinating characters, action, twists and turns, and romance. I loved it and loved Natalie and Matteo together.

This next book in Her Warlock Protector series is amazing. Well--written plot, good dialogue, and an intriguing plot. I was drawn right in,and wanted to know all the characters and what was going through their minds. It had me concerned and worried, and it had me elated and then frustrated. I am a little surprised at how much I've continued to enjoy this series. You just want to keep reading it! I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.

Another amazing book from Hazel. I don't think I've missed one yet. Matteo and Natalie are made for each other. Spicy read with action, intrigue and romance. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

What happens when Vegas magic meets real magic?
The rekindling of a romance, and a decade old murder case.
This is a fun read, with a lot of red herrings along the way. As far as the romance goes, there's no slow build up, that happened years ago, before the Natalie and Matteo were separated under unfortunate circumstances, so when they meet, the chemistry is still there.
I'd love the prequel of how they met, and what happened then!

I just LOVED Matteo. Ms. Hunter is an exceptional author. Her characters and plots are so well developed that you feel like you are right there with them and sharing in the action. I get so lost in the story that I ALWAYS hate for the novel to end.
I highly recommend this book to anyone who loves romance.
