Interesting premise.
I am not sure if I would want to read the series. I like the new take on the supernatural. I liked Rafe and some of the other characters. The information at the end of the book.”, should have been at the front. I will admit that I often “buy” free books on Amazon. By the time I read them, I no longer remember the premise. I started reading, assuming Rafe was a traditional vampire. I wish I had read the part about judgement before I read the rest of the book. While I understand that the author did not want to get involved in explaining the characters sexual experience, I felt when I reading those parts, the writing was amateurish.

Adding her own spin on the vamp myth Michelle has given us another way of looking at how they came to be. We get a little back story for some of her main characters for her New Orleans vamp scene. If you dont read this first (I read it second) dont worry that it will confuse you because it wont. Its was really nice to see how they got to where they are in the next book.

This is a great book to start the series. It takes you to all the fallen angels and how they got their curse, I really love this series you need to read it.

Michelle has reinvented vampires
I'm really in love with this series. Although I must say, I was hoping for more Rafe & Cara 😥. This series nevertheless lacks in anyway. I highly recommend to all whom loves vampire genre & especially The one's who haven't read any vamp books. It's unique and true to Michelle writing.
